What songs do you guys think would best describe yourself, that would be labelled your theme song?
Right now, I'd say the theme song from that detective show called Monk. Very crazy. I'll come up with more later.

Manamana! from Sesame Street. Its classic. The whole song is gibberish.

My theme song is the same as the Star Trek - Enterprise theme song. I don't know who sings it but I think it's called ."Faith of the Heart". So touching and hopeful.

Evil, Eeeeeeev-ill!!!!!!!!! Actually, ST isn't that bad. If your Mom isn't a total Trekkie.

Have you even listened to it (the song)? I totally enjoy the new series, 'Enterprise'. It's atmosphere and level of exploration remind me a bit of "Wing Comander", a movie which I also loved, though I may be the only person in the universe who did. How is that for 'Outcast'? I left the theater and while everyone else was going, 'Uggg!' I was saying "I LOVED that movie!"

Mindy, I think there's a Trekkie thread in Stuff and Bother. Or maybe its Bag End. Thought you might like to know.

I'm by no means a Trekkie, but I do watch Star Trek if it's on. Although, I never watch the original or DS9.
The song is called Faith Of The Heart and it was sung by Russell Watson - who's British. I downloaded it a while ago, but I ain't listened to it for ages, not usually my style. I'm listing to some Celtic Metal just now :D
I'll give some thought to my theme song, and let you all know when I come to a conclusion :)

My theme song would be the Pink Panther theme song or one of the Sum 41 songs that I dont know the name to. I'll try to find the name of it and then edit the post. Its not Still Waiting, its an older one.

THATS COOL! I have some other theme songs:
Anything by Jimmy Eat World. Espicially the chorus of A Praise Chorus and the whole song of Sweetness.
Dragon

munchkin
01-21-2003, 07:53 PM
THE ZEPHER SONG RULES!!!!
"Fly away on my zepher..."
Isn't a zepher a blimp???
Dragon
01-31-2003, 04:38 AM
I have no idea what a zepher is, but I'm sure the whole neighborhood is wondering now because I blast the radio every time it comes on
munchkin
01-31-2003, 08:40 PM
hehehe...yeah, I'm pretty sure its a blimp. It makes sence, even if I'm wrong!
Dragon
02-02-2003, 05:37 AM
wait, isn't the blimp thing a zeppelin?
I asked my dad about it and he said a zepher was like a shooting star or something
P.S. I love your avatar...sweet!
munchkin
02-04-2003, 12:56 AM
hmm, maybe. But how could you fly away on someones shooting star????
BTW, thanks. It was meant for someone to be sitting there for like 15 minutes waiting for it to load! :D LegolasLuvr sent me a Pm saying how it was awesome and how she sat there for like 10 minutes waiting for it to load the first time she saw it!
Dragon
02-04-2003, 04:16 AM
heeheehee!!!!!so funny!!! I know a lot of people who would do that
munchkin
02-04-2003, 03:59 PM
I know. Me too. If I hadn't told my friends about my avatar(they were in the room when I put it on. I had no choice.), they'd be still sitting there waiting for it to load!:D
A Zephyr is defined as a west wind; a breeze from the west; a gentle breeze.
munchkin
02-05-2003, 12:41 AM
have fun riding on that...
Dragon
02-05-2003, 04:19 AM
oooh.....I feel all floaty and breezy just thinking about it...."fly away on my west wind"
munchkin
02-05-2003, 07:40 PM
It would be fun though...I'd rather ride on a blimp though, and how could you own the west wind? That would be more intresting then riding on it!
Dragon
02-06-2003, 04:26 AM
yeah...... a blimp WOULD make me feel more secure.................
HobbitGirl
02-16-2003, 07:24 PM
I'd like to fly on a west wind.
Theme song for my best friend="Give me your hand" by James Galway and the Chieftans
I don't have my own theme song yet...but I'm getting there.
Dragon
02-18-2003, 01:49 AM
we should write our own song... with lots of references to west winds, the pink panther, and chocolate!
HobbitGirl
02-18-2003, 01:50 AM
Or we could just make up a tune to Yay's brilliant offical Outcast poem...
Dragon
02-18-2003, 02:29 AM
I was thinking that too, but I didn't say it, because I want something w/ chocolate, panthers, and zephyrs
HobbitGirl
02-18-2003, 02:46 AM
What if we made up a tune to the offical poem anyway...and then made up a song about chocolate, panthers, and zephers...and then made a medly of both songs! Outcast Theme Medly! Weeee! :D
Dragon
02-18-2003, 03:27 AM
that would be super-cool!!! but who knows how to post sound thingies online? not me!!! and whoever does it has to know how!

Idiotheque by Radiohead.
That's one of my theme songs.
It's AMAZING.

I always think of Sugarcult's "Bouncing off the Walls" when I think of the crazy things that some of my outcast friends at school and I do...
"I'm bouncing off the walls again...whoa...I'm looking like a fool again...whoa. Threw away my reputation...one more song for the RADIO STATION!"
FIRELILY
02-26-2003, 08:14 PM
It's gotta be "Freak" by Radiohead. Or how about "Pretty Vacant" by the Sex Pistols? Or "Negative Creep" by Nirvana?
Or..or......
greypilgrim
02-27-2003, 04:30 AM
"Pretty Vacant" is a good Outcast tune...
"WERE PRETTY!>>>>PRETTY VACANT!" Johnny Rotten was an ***hole..
Sid Viscious's "My Way" tribute to Frank Sinatra was sweet! That would be another Outcast theme song!
I submit "No Son of Mine" by Phil Collins. But that is only for the revolution! Another: "In the Air Tonight".;)
FIRELILY
02-27-2003, 04:48 PM
Ok, kind of telling when the first song I submit as a possible Outcast theme song has the WRONG name!! It's "Creep" by Radiohead-sorry, sorry. Guess I do belong here.

dudes! My pic is up in the Guild of Periaur photo album!
Check it out...I'm staying "on topic" here....:)
Wonko The Sane

The song is actually called Creep!!! HOW COULD YOU NOT KNOW THAT?!?!
And actually it is a pretty good Outcast song, but Radiohead's made better ones.
For example: The Bends, High and Dry, and Fake Plast Trees.
All off the same album btw. :) The Bends is a GREAT Outcast album!

It should be to the pink panther tune!
Dragon
03-09-2003, 04:29 AM
yeah!!! or we could incorporate the pink panther tune into the poem yay wrote, and then add our own lines about chocolate and pink panthers...and then everybody would know the tune, and we wouldn't have to get someone who can make mp3s to come up with it......yeah, I just had a revelation.....that's cool.......*is almost POSITIVE HG spiked her drink*
HobbitGirl
03-09-2003, 08:32 AM
I didn't spike your drink! I don't even serve the Goblin Urine Wine! (Or is that what you were drinking?)

Did I tell you Legoman wrote that Smeagol's Song...
It's SOOO good.
Also a song he wrote called Eyes. :) That's a GREAT song for this guild.
YayGollum
04-03-2003, 09:41 AM
Yeah, I know the Smeagol thing you're talking about, but not the eye thing. Sounds scary. Where are these crazy things?
Wonko The Sane
04-03-2003, 10:14 AM
Legoman has them on minidisk. I took it and listened to it. I was on one earpiece and Tookish was on the other.
:) It was fun and stuff the two foxes on Legoman's bed listening to the music.
Then Tookish stopped listening and Snaga helped. :)

Okay... Maybe I meant to ask ---> Where can any old Outcast go to see the lyrics? I think I remember some of that guy's craziness over at the Prancing Pony section.
Wonko The Sane
04-03-2003, 10:36 AM
I don't think he's posted any of his other songs.
He had another one that was really funny cos it was a mess of sound but it had no lyrics far as I could tell.
I don't really remember any of his other titles.
The Smeagol one is WICKED! I love it!

04-03-2003, 10:59 AM
Ah. Got it. oh well. I'm sure you had all kinds of fun with teasing us all with your stories of superly great and quality music that we'll never get to hear. *sniff*

Maybe when you visit England Legoman will let you listen.
:) It's a beautiful song. I'd by the CD. :)
YayGollum
04-03-2003, 11:17 AM
Uh, huh. I doubt that I'll still be going to that England place. oh well. The rest of the Outcasts still won't get to hear it, though. :(
Dragon
04-12-2003, 03:59 AM
 don't boast about songs we wont get to hear!!!!this place is about defending the little guy, not teasing him!!! I'm shocked!!!
Wonko The Sane
04-17-2003, 01:38 PM
Legoman might be able to post it on the web.
I think he has before.
And why won't you get to visit England, Yay?
YayGollum
04-17-2003, 10:53 PM
No monies, of course. I forget why my evil mom lady thought we'd be able to before, but she's come to her senses. oh well. *sniff* Maybe some day. When I become achingly rich.
Wonko The Sane
04-18-2003, 12:51 AM
Or if I get achingly rich I'll fly you out to visit. :D
YayGollum
04-18-2003, 05:10 AM
Sure. That'll work. Why not? My evil mom lady is that one that cares about the place more than I do, though. I'd rather go to New Hampshire again. :D
Wonko The Sane
04-18-2003, 05:25 AM
*Grins*
Maybe I can fly all of you out to visit?! :) Snaga would like that. I know he wants to meet the family! And so do I!
YayGollum
04-18-2003, 05:57 AM
Uh, huh. If you're so rich, fly everyone to New Hampshire. Better climate, better food. *hides* :D

Rhiannon's Theme Song
Make Your Own Kind of Music
by the Mamas & the Papas (sung by Mama Cass)
Nobody can tell ya
There's only one song worth singin'
They may try and tell ya
'Cause it hangs them up
To see someone like you
But you've gotta
Make your own kind of music
Sing your own special song
Make your own kind of music
Even if nobody else sings along
You're gonna be nowhere
The loneliest kind of lonely
It may be rough goin'
Just to do your thing's the hardest thing to do
But you've gotta
Make your own kind of music
Sing your own special song
Make your own kind of music
Even if nobody else sings along
So if you can not take my hand
And if you must be goin'
I will understand
But you've gotta
Make your own kind of music
Sing your own special song
Make your own kind of music
Even if nobody else sings along
But you've gotta
Make your own kind of music
Sing your own special song
Make your own kind of music....*fade out*

I HAVE A SONG TOO!!!
:)
Artist: Phil Collins
Album: Tarzan OST
Title: You'll Be In My Heart
Come, stop your crying,
It will be all right.
Just take my hand,
Hold it tight.
I will protect you
From all around you.
I will be here,
Don't you cry.
For one so small,
You seem so strong.
My arms will hold you,
Keep you safe and warm.
This bond between us
Can't be broken.
I will be here,
Don't you cry.
'Cause you'll be in my heart,
Yes, you'll be in my heart,
From this day on,
Now and forever more.
You'll be in my heart,
No matter what they say,
You'll be here in my heart, always.
Why can't they understand
The way we feel.
They just don't trust
What they can't explain.
I know we're different but,
Deep inside us
We're not that different at all.
And you'll be in my heart,
Yes, you'll be in my heart,
From this day on,
Now and forever more.
Don't listen to them
'Cause what do they know?
We need each other,
To have, to hold.
They'll see in time,
I know.
When destiny calls you,
You must be strong.
I may not be with you
But you've got to hold on.
They'll see in time,
I know.
We'll show them together.
'Cause you'll be in my heart,
Yes, you'll be in my heart,
From this day on,
Now and forever more.
Oh, you'll be in my heart,
No matter what they say,
You'll be in my heart, always,
Always.
