I actually forgot to go and see Signs; but I saw some real crop circles - does that count?

How could you FORGET to see signs? Where did you see the real crop circles. There was something on the news around the time when Signs came out that there was a crop circle sighting in my state(conicidently enough). Yea, right.

LILO AND STITCH!!!! that was SOOOOO not (just) a kids movie, they had stuff in there that only grown-up-ish people would get!

I haven't seen many new films this year, but I've seen a few at least. I didn't like Spiderman. I liked HP & TCoS and I saw TTT last night. I have not yet seen Minority Report or Die Another Day, but I suspect they will rank highly once I see them.
So, at the moment.
Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets
The Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers
Ice Man
12-19-2002, 02:57 PM
The Fellowship of the Ring and Minority Report

Fellowship Of The Ring, though, was released in 2001. So I don't think that counts :p
Ice Man
12-19-2002, 08:51 PM
In Brazil, it was released Jan 1st 2002, so it does count for me. :o

Putting TTT aside, which really was the best, I'll make a few categories to get all my favorites in.
Indie: Lovely and Amazing.
Anime: Metropolis (saw it on it's second-round release this year)
Light comedy: About A Boy.
Blockbuster: Spiderman.
Mainstream: Gangs of New York. (Never saw Road to Perdition)

I thought TTT was wicked awesome...even if they changed it. ;)
But I really liked Spidey (until that end scene...that sorta ruined it for me), and Signs. I really wanna see Two Weeks Notice...but I havent. I heard it was really awesome. :)

munchkin and evereve, it's awesome that you guys think eachother are awesome, but let's not fight over who's more awesome, because I'm getting tired of writing awesome for no apparent reason, so it would be really awesome if you stopped, just exchange e-mail, and tell eachother that way.

They were both pretty good, except that "About a Boy" has a LOT of sware words. Most of them British, but you can easily understand them. It's good not to watch it around wee folk (little kids :D).

Best movies of 2002? Let's see:
TTT: A worthy follow up to the FOTR, very well done.
Spirited Away: *Still gagging over the beautiful animation*
Raid: Finnish action at it's best.
Bowling for columbine: "Us Americans aren't that obsessed with guns, are we?" "Shut it! Who are you? Honey get me my shotgun!" Brilliant

I thought Signs was excellent...I went into it with no real idea of what was to happen....and I liked the way m.night shot it utilizing our own imaginations to create fear!

Well, good movies have come out in this year by now, haven't they? I don't know. I just watch them. I don't really care too much about what year I'm in.
Anyways, I still haven't seen that Signs movie. It still seems way too scary for me. sorry about that. Creepy aliens.
