Brilliant!!! Why didn't I think of that? Obviously everyone has been very deeply affected by the death of "the King", Elvis. There is no need to try and capitalize on peoples grievences. I love this bit from the FAQ:

We most certainly do. Several of our members were already successful at making 20th Century Fox delay the movie "Phone Booth" due to the Maryland sniper attacks. We've also stopped several new Disney films in production that just didn't rub us the right way. We're also considering closing down the show "Seasame Street" for reasons we'd rather not get in to.

datter, I would like your help setting up a page to protest my name (curt) being used to describe rude or boorish behavior:mad: I think we could get loads of cash from Webster's and the Oxford English Dictionary, and I do not think it a coincidence Mr. Tolkien worked on the Oxford version.

The whole idea of the USA was to get away from the monarchy in the UK, yes? So, The Return Of The King is going to hurt some people in America because they will remember those days under British rule, and 200-odd years is not long enough to recover. They may be fooled into believing the King (Note: the UK has a Queen just now, but Americans don't know that), is indeed returning to enslave them :rolleyes:

yeah! It should be renamed Return of the Democratically Elected President. And there should be a new scene added where they show each Gondorian going to a booth and voting for Aragorn or Denethor. Due to a failure in the voting cards in Lebennin the outcome is subjected to recount after recount in that district. The suspense builds and builds until the end of the movie until it is determined that the hanging chads do in fact count and Aragorn is elected!!!
