I want to start this by saying Elija Wood was a great choice for Frodo, and I did like the movie, but do they not have laxatives in nz? Frodo looks constipated throughout the movie, whenever he is listening to gandalf or any other of the "wise" talk, he is hiding from the nazgul, or struugling with a descision, it looks like he needs to grab "the shire times" and step behind a bush for a little privacy.

Glomund and Rangerdave, your 2 posts are the funniest things I've read on this Forum yet! Too funny! "The Shire Times!" Or Hobbit Weekly...

I believe Frodo had never been out of the Shire before, though I don't know for sure; I've only started reading the books. But I just suspect the guy is really feeling the weight that's on his shoulders, and he appears to be sensitive for a Hobbit. And maybe it's part of that "character arc" that gets spread out over all 3 movies.
