ic: Phenix saw the glorfindel and his company walk into the deep mines of moria, when they were out of sight he turned to the four who stood behind him.
" lets go, we must hurry"
Carantalath
12-27-2002, 03:55 AM
Carantalath hurried after Phenix. She didn't like being so close to Moria. She knew of the Balrog that had been there and though it was killed, she still felt uneasy.
OOC: I don't know what happened, but yesterday I was on and there was no Harad thread...Pretty weird huh? Anywho...
IC: Celebrien took one last look at the gates, then turned and headed into the morning mists surrounding the mountain. Walking up to Phenix, he asked "How long do you think it will take us to get to Harad? I was thinking about 2 and a half weeks, 2 if we press hard. But I do think we should stop at Minas Tirith and get some rest before the last leg of our journey."
Phenix
12-29-2002, 09:41 PM
" probobly, but we must make haste" Phenix said. " otherwise the enimy might find us"
Carantalath
12-30-2002, 03:01 AM
*I think it is a good idea to stop in Minas Tirith, though if we do not make it that far soon enough, we should go straight to Harad. We don't want to stay for too long in Minas Tirith, though relaxing it may be.* Carantalath said to the company.
OOC: Where are the other people in our company? I haven't seen them in a while.
Maeglin
12-30-2002, 11:10 PM
OOC: Hey guys just wanted to check on this thread, its going great so far! But there is little activity going on with it, as Carantalath said, the same thing is happening with my thread, we have very little activity, but maybe(and hopefully) thats just because its the holidays so not very many people are home, I think things will pick up again soon after the holidays are over.
Carantalath
12-31-2002, 02:23 PM
OOC: Glorfindel is probably right.
IC: Carantalath felt very lonely as the company journeyed south. She missed the rest of the company and was sad at the death of Ramagna, her friend. She wanted very much for the quest to be over so she could return to her beautiful home in the Grey Havens.

Carantalath
01-02-2003, 12:29 AM
*Welcome, friends. We were in need of more in our company and now you have shown up, as if by magic.* Carantalath said in a greeting to the three new elves.
The company travelled day after day, with only a few hours of rest. They were reaching the end of the Misty Mountains and soon would be reaching the fields of Rohan and Fangorn Forest.

Carantalath
01-03-2003, 11:26 PM
*Yes, we're going to Harad, to go against Pallando, the blue istari.* Carantalath told the newcomer.
#1 Legolas #1
01-03-2003, 11:54 PM
Can I join you?
"Of course you may join us! We are in need of more companions, because of the absence of our others who have not posted in quite awhile. *hint hint* So please feel free to come with, it will be very dangerous though."
Lossengondiel
01-04-2003, 05:14 PM
"Is that is? Is that everyone? Then let us begin our journey!"
Phenix
01-04-2003, 08:43 PM
" it's god to see that so many are willing to follow us on our journey." Phenix said to the newcomers " but now we must leave"
Lossengondiel
01-04-2003, 11:09 PM
"Alright then, I will gather what few belongings I have and I am ready and prepared to follow you on our journey to Harad"
*Lady Arwen*
01-05-2003, 01:21 AM
As they reached the edge of a forest the saw a hawk flying and making much noise, they all looked up. Then, out of the forest came a figure flying out armed with a bow and arrow. "You are not orcs!"She said "Forgive me but these times I must be wary of who passes by me" Seeing it was a comany of elfs she called the hawk from the sky and it landed on her shoulder "May I ask were you are going?" And they told her about their jorney to Harad "May I join your company? Its been long since I've been on a journey, I am tired of visiting the places I already know. But I have never been so far south. I am Dimlondowen, and this is my hawk Snow-Jer" She wistled and a brown horse came ridding out "This is my horse Enedfalath"
OOC:Ok, lets see if we can get this RPG going;)
Phenix
01-05-2003, 08:27 PM
" we would be happy if you joined us, we're gona need al the help we can get" Phenix said to Dimlondowen
*Lady Arwen*
01-05-2003, 11:33 PM
"Then for sure you will have mine!" She replyed
Later that day....It was around 6 o'clock when Phenix called a halt for some dinner. Celebrien sat next to Carantalath and began to chat. "So what is it like where you come from?" he asked. "And how are the people? I have always dreamed of traveling like this and meeting new people in different countries. Maybe after we finish our mission we could visit each others homelands. That would be fun! Anyway, I'm going to bed Carantalath, good night."
Lossengondiel
01-07-2003, 01:11 AM
*Also walks up to Carantalath* "Yes, it is time we rested for our journey tomorrow" *And leaves and finds a dark, quiet place to sleep*
Calimehtar
01-07-2003, 01:21 AM
*The company wakes up only to find a stranger in their midst.*
"Hello, I am Calimehtar Son of Elevan of Rivendell. I have been wandering the wild after my company was ambushed by orcs in Field of Celebrant. All were killed but me. I have been following Dimlondowen for over a week. I have overheard you are seeking Harad. I will aid you in your quest, if you will allow it."
Carantalath
01-07-2003, 02:50 AM
Carantalath rubbed her eyes and sat up. There was a strange elf standing in their campsite. He asked about joining the company. *Of course you may join us. We are in need of more companions,* Carantalath said.
She sat by Celebrien as she ate a quick breakfast. *I have always wanted to travel also. I live at the Grey Havens and it's beautiful. The sea is wonderful and I know that someday, I'll sail across it to the Undying Lands. I have a great love of the sea. The people are very kind once you get to know them. At first they may seem unfriendly, but they are just careful in these times.* Carantalath said. *What about your home? Is it nice? Are the people wary like my people of the Grey Havens?*
*Lady Arwen*
01-07-2003, 02:04 PM
IC: "Shall we get going?" Said Dimlndowen, at these word her hawk Snow-Jer came flying down from a tree.
OOC: Do you have horses or are you walking?
"Yes I am afraid it is so Carantalath...None are allowed past the eaves of Greenwood without my permission, I wish it were not so but such are the measures we must take to prevent another Dol Guldur from happening. That was horrifying, we were in constant fear of Sauron. But maybe, someday, when we are done with this quest we can finally establish a link between the elven countries of Middle Earth!"
"I have no horse, Lady Arwen, I will walk."
#1 Legolas #1
01-07-2003, 11:34 PM
"If you walk then I will walk or would you rather borrow my horse?"
Calimehtar
01-07-2003, 11:38 PM
*Then let us set out at once! Keep what horses you have and load them with your provisions. We shall all walk.* said Calimehtar.
#1 Legolas #1
01-07-2003, 11:42 PM
"Very well then we shall walk."
So the company set off south from the Gates of Moria. The days quickly and uneventfully passed until nearly a week after the journey. "You know, I smell something in the air, Carantalath. It is the scent of danger. I feel we are followed by some foes, Orcs or others. They are near, but I do not know how near. Just be careful, I fear they may attack tonight."
Phenix
01-08-2003, 08:51 PM
they made camp early that day and as the night came they doubbled the guard. Phenix had the first shift and stood besid a tree a few yards from the camp. he thought he heard a sound in the woods and turned over there. as he turned he saw a quik move in the shadow and a few second later a arow had penetrated the tree.
" Orcs!!!" Phenix yelled as he fired a arrow into the forest. a loud screem could be heards from the same direction...
Calimehtar
01-08-2003, 11:00 PM
Calimehtar and the rest jumped to the feet, bows at hand. They were surrounded by orcs. An arrow shot past Dimlondowen's head, grazing her ear.
#1 Legolas #1
01-09-2003, 12:36 AM
"Well what are we waiting for, we should attack."*He shoots an arrow into an orcs neck, they all attack, Legolas kicks through them* "Over here." *pointing at the only way to get out*
Calimehtar
01-09-2003, 12:40 AM
Following Legolas, Calimehtar takes an arrow in the shoulder but is unharmed thanks to his hidden shirt of mail. "Phenix! Celebiren! Hurry before it's too late! We must flee to that hilltop and take them on there!"
OOC: I am going to wait for some others to post before I do again... Let them get some action. Also... (I'm kinda stumped on why I said "flee to the hilltop" and can't think of what we are supposed to do like... as our strategy or whatever. haha
*Lady Arwen*
01-09-2003, 12:55 AM
"Enedfalath!" Dimlondowen called to her horse. She got on him and rode toward the orcs shooting arrows. When the others were a safe distance she also fleed. They reached the top of the hill "Now what!" Dimlondowen asked.
"Quick, those with bows go to the inside and prepare to fire. Phenix, Carantalath and Calimehtar, we must defend them! Stand on the outside and fight off the orcs. Quickly, they are nearly upon us!" As he speaks several arrows come flying over the hill. "Alright this is it!" The first wave of orcs run over the crest of the hill. "Fire!!!" The first 6 or 7 orcs fall dead. "Great shooting everyone keep it up. Legolas, you see well in the dark, come with me." He melts into the shadows with Legolas and they sneak to the back of the orcs for a surprise charge.
Ramagna
01-09-2003, 12:34 PM
The amulett, Ramagna had passed to Carantalath still abled him to keep in contact to the living world, so he could again come close to the fellowship surrounding her...
*So many new followers! there's still hope in these dark times...*
And he tried to spread the feeling of a bond between the fellowship, and to strenghten their hope and will... as a ghost, he had a powerful connection to the world of dreams and the unseen things, and he was eager to use them, though he didn't know what was the real reason behind his staying in the ghost world...
*Lady Arwen*
01-09-2003, 08:41 PM
They kept shooting the orc, but more only came. "How are we to win this?" Thoguth Dimlondowen.
Phenix
01-09-2003, 10:13 PM
" we wont" Phenix said as he slayed an orc with his daggers "our only hope is to escape" suddently the orcs withdrawed to the foot of the hill and staired on the elves and their friends on the hill top " what now... keep your bows ready" he said to his friends and laid an arow on his own " I fear that there making us some kind of trap" befor he even had ended teh sentence a loud roar could be heard from the other side of the hill and a small group of goblings ran up behind them. as soon as they had reached teh hill top the orc on the other side moved forwards yelling in their own languish...
...But the assault from the bottom of the hill was suddenly interupted. Celebrien and Legolas came charging into the fray. Celebrien had drawn his sword Anglachel and it was glowing bright blue as he cut his way mightily through the ranks.
*Lady Arwen*
01-10-2003, 01:47 PM
While the orc's atention turned to Celebrien and Legolas the rest of the company tuned to join them and fleed from the orcs. They found a cave and hid in there. The orcs, overcome by rage, did not even bother to look inside. The company of orcs passed over the cave unnoticed of the people inside.
"I cannot hide, Lady Arwen, they will track our company and destroy us. I must go and finish this! If Phenix, Carantalath and Legolas will come with me that should be more than enough."
Calimehtar
01-10-2003, 11:24 PM
Everyone else, follow me! We will wait for you where the Snowbourn and the Onodlo Rivers meet. Celebrien, Legolas, Carantalath, and Phenix leave the dark cave and disappear in the night.
OOC: So, who all is with me? Calimehtar (ME), and Nimlondowen,... anyone else? BTW, Celebrien, Lady Arwen is Nimlondowen.
#1 Legolas #1
01-11-2003, 12:36 AM
"I will go with you Celebrien."
Calimehtar
01-11-2003, 01:04 AM
Calimehtar and Nimlondowen call Enedfalath. They ride through the night and camp at the edge of Fangorn Forest. "Sleep, tomorrow we will ride to the Onodlo. We will follow it to the Snowbourn, then wait for the others. Let us hope they are safe."
*Calimehtar and Nimlondowen sleep soundly through the night.*
Celebrien and the others tracked the orcs for nearly a mile before finding their camp. They set up a stakeout and, around midnight crept silently into the camp and killed the orcs one by one.

"I hope the others are ok."says legolas while whiping the blood off his knife.
Carantalath
01-12-2003, 04:12 AM
Carantalath joined Celebrien and the others on the silent attacks on the orcs. After all the fighting, she wished for peace. She'd had her share of fighting in the last month or so and she now wished only to return to her home. But, being the brave elf that she was, Carantalath remained with her friends. *Is anyone injured?* she asked them.
She saw that the amulet given to her by Ramagna was glowing. She wondered how it worked and decided to ask her companions. *Friends, I received this amulet from Ramagna before he passed away. I can not figure out what it does. Do any of you have an idea?*
OOC: Sorry I haven't been here for so long. But now I'm back!
Calimehtar
01-13-2003, 11:31 PM
*Nimlondowen and Calimehtar begin to worry about their friends. But they must wait patiently for their return...*
Carantalath, Legolas, Phenix and Celebrien stole silently over the plains until they came to the meeting of the two rivers. Celebrien gave a small whistle, his signal to Calimehtar and the others walked out of the woods. "Was anyone hurt?" asked Calimehtar. "No, only minor cuts and bruises." "Well that is excellent, I think we shall still be able to put in a few more miles tonight."
OOC:Welcome back Carantalath!
*Lady Arwen*
01-14-2003, 07:20 PM
OOC: For those that don't know my name in the RPG is Dimlondowen.
IC:By now Dimlondowen and Calimehtar were at the boarders of the Snowbourn, waiting for the others to return so that they could continue. "I think we shall have to stop in Edoras to get more suplies. We cannot go to Harad with the little food that we have." Dimlondowen said to Calimehtar.
Calimehtar
01-15-2003, 12:40 AM
We will go up the river Snowbourn. That should lead us directly to Edoras. Maybe there the King will spare horses for us that have not. After our stay at Edoras, we will head south through the paths to Dunharrow and make our way through the hills and mountains of that area.
OOC: I couldn't find Harad on my map, the map I am using extends from Edoras in the top left corner to Mordor in the bottom right corner. So if the way I chose is not a good one, just post on here saying you know of a better way or you can PM me and I can edit my post.
Carantalath
01-15-2003, 02:29 AM
Carantalath walked with her friends as the headed towards the place where they would be meeting Calimehtar and Dimlondowen. She hoped that her two other friends were safe and that they would meet again shortly.
*Lady Arwen*
01-15-2003, 03:37 AM
While Dimlondowen and Calimehtar sat at the boarder of the Snowbourn, Dimlondowen's hawk, Snow-Jer, came hooting down towards them. "Carantalath and the others shold be ariving soon..." She said looking north over the plains of Rohan.
Celebrien and company slowly wound their way across the plains until they came to the joining of the rivers Onodlo and Snowbourn. Calimehtar and Dimlondowen were obviously in the forest somewhere near, not just sitting in the open. Celebrien gave a short bird call and Calimehtar and Dimlondowen emerged from the shadows. "Tis good to see you again, I had fear things would go wrong. Apparently that fear was unfounded. Shall we continue on?"
*Lady Arwen*
01-15-2003, 03:31 PM
They crossed the river and continued towards Edoras, at nightfall they arrived at the city gates. The gates were closed, a guard called from high in the wall to them "Halt! Who goes there?" "A company of Elves." Responded Celebrien. The guard paused, making sure they were really Elves, when he was satisfied he opended the gate and let them enter.
Carantalath
01-15-2003, 07:33 PM
Carantalath had never traveled this far south and she was amazed at how different the climate was. It was warmer than her northern home and more windy. She looked around as they walked through Edoras, staring at this city of mortals.
OOC: Would it have been possible to reach Edoras in one day? Wouldn't it have taken longer?
*Lady Arwen*
01-15-2003, 08:25 PM
OOC: If we were already at the boarders of the Snowbourn it would. At least on my map Edoras id right next to the Snowbourn.
Phenix
01-15-2003, 10:30 PM
we should split up and meet up on a inn...we don't want to much attension so it's beter that way we'll meet at "the dragons roar" Phenix said and walked over to the guard who had opened the gates and gave him a colden coin " this gate has not been opened the last houre, under stood" he said and walked óut to the city as to show the others taht they should get going
Calimehtar
01-15-2003, 10:48 PM
OOC: The Snowbourn is right next to Edoras, but the place where the Snowbourn and Entwade meet it's about 80 miles... so I guess you couldn't really walk that in a day... you could in two definately... about 1 day and a few hours... anyways, thats OK though.
*The company split into three groups and went downt he different paths. Learning their way around the city as they went, they finally came to the inn. It was dark and few people were in the inn.*
OOC: Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday dear Phenix! HHHAAPPPYYYY birthday to you!
(IT IS YOUR BIRTHDAY.... right? The board had you name as todays birthday.)
Celebrien wound his way through the streets, taking note of possible exits and routes to lose pursuers in. He walked into The Dragons Roar and noticed the men sitting in the corner talking and glancing at him. "I do not like the looks of this..." he said. He voiced his concern to Calimehtar "I think those men in the corner may have had a few too many drinks, we don't want to attract attention to ourselves. Just watch what you say around them."
He relaxed a little and ordered an ale.
*Lady Arwen*
01-16-2003, 05:45 PM
Dimlondowen arrived with Calimehtar at The Dragons Roar. They sat down with Celebrien.
Carantalath
01-16-2003, 09:42 PM
Carantalath walked cautiously to The Dragons Roar. She stepped inside and saw her friends sitting at a table. She didn't want anything to eat or drink when she got there. She felt like everyone was staring at her.
OOC: Sorry for my confusion about maps. I didn't have one with me and I got confused. Sorry!
*Lady Arwen*
01-16-2003, 11:08 PM
OOC: Its ok, sometime back I confused the Snowbourn with the Nimrodel :p
IC: "I assure you, there is no danger here." Dimlondowen said to her companions, who were not convienced "I have been here many times already. Targon! come here and take our order" She called to the bar tender.
Phenix
01-18-2003, 12:31 AM
Phenix arrived to the inn just as Targon walked away from his friends table
" god evening master Targon, I'll take the usual"
" of course" the inn keeper answerd and hurrid in to the kitchen. Phenix then walked over to his friends...
"Welcome Phenix, it's good to see you. Phenix, you seem to know this area fairly well. Why are there so few people here? Is there war in Rohan? Or something worse..."
*Lady Arwen*
01-18-2003, 02:38 AM
Targon came back with their order. After that he hurried to the kitchen as if he was afraid of the company that had entered his bar.

OCC:Sorry I havent been in for a while.
IC:"Ill be right back im going the outhouse."*he goes out the door, and he remembers he doent know where it is so he goes back in* "Where is the outhouse?"
Carantalath
01-18-2003, 03:42 AM
*This place seems so quiet and everyone seems on their guard. It's as though they think something bad is going to happen or as though something bad already happened,* Carantalath told her friends. She felt like the people of Rohan were suspicious of foreigners.
Phenix
01-18-2003, 08:12 PM
" well it's probobly the orcs, one of the armies should be close to rohan... unless they've already atacked..." Phenix said
*Lady Arwen*
01-19-2003, 12:11 AM
Targon came to bring the rest of their order "The have already attacked" he said overhearing them.
"That is terrible, I had no idea things were so bad. I think we should make a goal to come back here and help out when we are done in Harad. What do you guys think?"
Phenix
01-21-2003, 08:20 PM
" yes, that's if there's anything left to help" Phenix said
"Are you suggesting that we stay and help Rohan? I suppose we could, because I am sure we have more time to get to Harad than we do before Rohan falls."
Maeglin
01-22-2003, 01:11 AM
As if from no where, a bright white light suddenly appeared, and down came Gwaihir, lord of the Eagles, with Glorfindel the White on his back, the eagle landed and Glorfindel leapt off. "My friends, we meet again," said the Elf Lord, "I am no longer Glorfindel the Golden-haired, I have died, but I have been sent back to complete the task, and I am now Glorfindel the White, more powerful than ever, and nothing can now harm me save the enemy himself, and it is my fate to face them alone, and at that time I will reveal my full power and glory, and it will be a battle that will be sung about for ages to come."
"I have already been to the others, and they know of the new evil I have warned them of, and one of them was almost overtaken by it, but listen to what I have to say: The Enemy has grown strong, they now have the power to disguise powerful orcs as Elves, and you could be with an enemy as we speak, but I know how to tell who they are, and we are not in the presence of them. It is also possible, however unlikely to happen, that an Elf can be overcome and become an orc on the inside, but not in the physical world, these evil creatures are called Orves, and you must always beware of them. But as for staying in Rohan, do not do such things, speed and haste are needed now more than ever before, I will come with you for some time, let us go with speed!" And with that the Elf Lord set off at a run ahead of the company, all of whom mounted their horses, and Glorfindel then jumped on to ride with Phenix.
Celebrien sprinted after Glorfindel, for he had no horse. "Glorfindel, how long will you be with us?" he shouted as he ran next to the Elf lord.
Phenix
01-23-2003, 09:26 PM
" its' nice to see you again glorfield" Phenix said " but what happened in moria, are the others alright?"
Maeglin
01-23-2003, 09:42 PM
"The others are fine, or at least they were when I left them, though 2 were wounded but healing quickly. Moria was a dark journey, we met a new companion in that place, and is currently traveling with the others, along with several others that have joined our quest. Evil befell me in Moria, which I do not wish to speak of, but I shall tell you briefly what happened: as we ran across the Bridge of Khazad-dum we were pursued by a great enemy, a Dralrog, even more terrifying than a Balrog, and it is harmful to look into the eyes of one, but since I had seen the 2 trees I looked back into the eyes of the demon, that proved fatal to me, for as I did I slipped and fell, and though I hung on to the bridge and pulled myself up again, it was enough time for the monster to hit me with a deadly arrow. That arrow did not kill me, though 2 days later I recieved another wound in the same place I had been shot, and I then fell dead and left my old form at the borders of the woods of Lothlorien. But now I am back. I am not sure how long I will stay with you, but it should be a fortnight (thats 2 weeks in case anyone doesn't know) at least, probably longer, unless I feel that great danger or evil has befallen the others, but for now they should be safe, but they soon will attempt the path through the dark land of Dol Guldur.
Carantalath
01-24-2003, 12:11 AM
Carantalath was overjoyed to see Glorfindel again and glad to hear that the other company was still alright. *I am worried about these Orves and other foul things roaming the land. We should leave right now for Harad, before things get worse.* Carantalath said to the company.
"It is good to see you back Glorfindel, perhaps you could help us with identifying the medallion which Ramagna gave to Carantalath? We know not what it is...Carantalath, may I ride with you, I have no horse?
Phenix
01-24-2003, 12:36 PM
" we'll have to talk later, now we must make haste, we should ride aslong as we can before night falls"
*Lady Arwen*
01-24-2003, 04:44 PM
Dimlondowen mounted her horse Enedfalath, and was ready to leave Rohan.
Maeglin
01-24-2003, 08:35 PM
"Show me the medallion in the morning, Phenix is right we must ride now with haste."
Carantalath

In the morning Glorfindel looked at Ramagna's medallion. "What is it that you would like to know about it? Has it been acting strangely in some way? Tell me as we ride, hope is in speed!" And after a quick breakfast they continued on towards the South and the land of Harad....

"Perhaps our old friend Ramagna has some unfinished business here, and he still dwells here through this medallion. This is similar to the legend of the Paths of the Dead that the great King Elessar took long ago, perhaps it is that Ramagna cannot rest in peace until he has accomplished what it is he feels he must do. But now, ride on like you have never ridden, we will not stop tonight! We must reach Minas Tirith by tomorrow! From there we can get resupplied and I will send you on from there, though I am not sure where I will be...."

In the night they crossed over the White Mountains, and so at last came to the city of Minas Tirith, where Aramorn Ellemar, Grandson of the Great King Aragorn Elessar, reigned as King. He gave them a Royal welcome, and then went into secret council with Glorfindel, whom he knew his Grandfather had been dear friends with.

OOC: I'm no longer part of either RP, though I'm still part of the story, but I'm making my character go off on his own for a while, so I will be posting the same thing each time I post in both RP's now.
IC: Glorfindel told King Ellemar of their task and what was at stake, and it struck fear in his heart, for he had not realized how serious the situation really was. "My Lord," Glorfindel said to the king while they were in secret council, "there is one other thing that I must tell you, that I dare not tell the others, for it would strike fear in their hearts, and they would despair if they knew of it. But I tell you, a great beast has arisen, and it has been pursuing both companies, in fact it has been pursuing me, wherever I go, and this is a creature of terrible evil and power, and wherever I am, no one is safe. Therefore I must go now, off on my own, and bring this creature where no one is around, and fight it myself. I will not tell my companions of this, I will leave in the night, tell Phenix to lead them on towards Harad. But there is one last thing I must tell you King Ellemar, evil servants are pursuing the 2 companies, they are the 8, one died, as was prophesied by me, at the hands of not a man, you know of whom I speak. But they shall come in forms of fair face and council, and will try to decieve you, there is one way for you to identify them, beware Men clad in sea-blue. Tell this to Phenix, but now, I must be off, for I am a danger to all here! I hope we meet again good King!"
Glorfindel whistled to Asfaloth and rode out into the night.....
The next day, Celebrien jogged to the practice fields. "I think I could use a little warm-up," he thought to himself. He stopped short, scanning for someone to practice with. Then, he noticed a man clad in blue standing by the sidelines. Celebrien walked to him and introduced himself. "Hello, I am Celebrien, would you care for a little warm-up sparring?" "I am called Malakor," the man said, "and yes I will spar with you." The two began to spar, lightly at first but it soon became faster until they were a whirlwind of blades. The other men soon noticed this and stopped their practices to watch Celebrien and Malakar. Malakar's sword clashed on Anglachel and sent it spinning from Celebrien's hand. Quick as a snake, Malakar struck, opening a gaping wound in Celebrien's side. Celebrien fell to his knees. The man raised his blade for the final stroke but was cut off by Celebrien's hidden knife. Malakar slowly dropped to the ground, and the faded into blue dust which was taken away by gust of wind. The other men on the field quickly ran to Celebrien's side and bandaged his wounds. They took him as quickly as they could to the Houses Of Healing.
OOC: Well, if they're like the Nazgul, how can they be killed by me? What I meant with the whole "blue dust" thing is along the lines of the Nazgul returning to Mordor in spirit form after they were washed away at the fords near Rivendell.

Glorfindel rode on through the night, past the White Mountains of Gondor and on through the Gap of Rohan, until he reached Isengard and the Tower of Orthanc, where Radagast the Brown now dwelt. He took council and rest there with Radagast, and Glorfindel said to the Wizard, "Radagast, you know that you did not do your job against Sauron, and therefore you may not return to the Blessed Lands."
"I know." said Radagast sorrowfully.
"But," said Glorfindel, "you may yet return."
"How?" asked Radagast, listening intently.
"I was with the Valar, as I have told you, and they told me to say this to you, 'that if you help against your former allies, the Ithryn Luin, and play a significant role, then you may return to the blessed land with me, when I go, and when I leave it will be the last ship that Cirdan sends West, so it is now or never Radagast my friend."
Radagast thought for a while, "okay, I will aid you in your war against Allatar and Pallando, though you must understand that they are more powerful than I."
"I do understand that, but I also understand that you are still very powerful, much more so than you ever revealed, but now the time has come to reveal your true power Radagast. In the morning we will set out, and your task will be achieved in the end."

In the morning Glorfindel and Radagast went out of the tower of Orthanc and they locked the door, that was the last time any living creature ever set foot inside that great and legendary tower, for they burned the key to the tower after they had locked the door. Radagast got his horse, Reindil, and mounted him. "It has been long since I have ridden," said the old wizard.
"Well it is time you remembered what it feels like, and it is time you remember what a blade feels like in your hand." Glorfindel then unwrapped the legendary sword Glamdring and handed it to Radagast. "This is the sword used by Turin Turambar, King of Gondolin, whose people I once died defending. It was also used by Gandalf the Grey, and Gandalf the White, it is time, Radagast, that it passed on into your hand, and you will be recognized and honored for you deeds." Radagast held the sword in his hand and swung it about his head,
"It feels wonderful to hold a sword again," he said.
"And hopefully you will be able to wield it as well as you could long ago. Do you have your staff? Good, then let us be off!"
Glorfindel and Radagast shot out through the fields surrounding Isengard and went out through the gate, never again did anyone set foot in that sacred place.

It will fight both a physical and mental battle with us, and it will be ruthless and fierce, so we must get somewhere where no people dwell, we must reach the empty lands between the southern borders of Mirkwood and the Nothern Borders of Mordor. Our horses will not reach there fast enough, we shall be over come before we can make it, are you still friends with the beasts and birds?"
"Yes I am," Radagast replied.
"Good, call them to you, tell the birds to bring messages to my companions, that great danger is behind them, and great peril ahead, but to turn back now would be useless, tell them to ride on as fast as they can towards Harad and Rhun! And call the Eagles to us, they must bear us away from here!"
"I will do that," replied the old man, and immediately called for the 2 falcons and whispered into their ears, they then flew off to the East and South. Radagast then whistled loud and shrill and Gwaihir and another landed in front of them, for they were ever watchful over the land and were close by. "We meet again Gwaihir," said Radagast. "You must carry us to the wastelands, as quickly as can be."
"Get on mine and my companions back," replied the great eagle. Glorfindel and Radagast did so and were borne away quickly.

Nefmariel heard the fire and power within Glorfindel's voice, and as Glorfindel and Radagast leapt off of her back, she flew away as fast as the wind.

"Radagast," said Glorfindel, "Get this fool out of here before he gets killed!" Glorfindel had said this in reference to Rasec.
"Yes my lord," the wizard said, and he turned quickly with his staff and pointed it at Rasec and his horse, the horse turned around with and went speeding back towards the rest of the company. However, Rasec's sword had flown out of his hand and went into Radagast's, for he needed a sword as well as a staff.
Glorfindel and Radagast then turned toward the Dralrog, and Glorfindel was amazed, for when he looked into its eyes, he saw that this was indeed the same Balrog that he had fought upon the rock outside of Gondolin thousands of years ago, returned, as had he, in a more powerful form.
The Dralrog now went into the minds of both of his adversaries, to Radagast he said this: "So, you have decided to make yourself useful Radagast the Brown, Radagast the Fool, Radagast the Simple, Radagast the Weak." And this angered the wizard greatly, and his eyes lit with a fire never seen before in him.
To Glorfindel the Dralrog said this: "So, we meet again Glorfindel the Golden-haired, and you shall fall once again, as you did before, for I am more powerful now than ever I was when you last fought with me." All this he said in the minds of his 2 opponents.
But in return Glorfindel said this, "I am no longer Glorfindel the Golden-haired you fool! For now I am Glorfindel the White! More powerful than ever, and you cannot defeat me, nor Radagast the Brown!" And a bright white light shone from the two, Glorfindel and Radagast. Then there was something that they saw in the eyes of the Dralrog, was it fear? But to conceal this the Monster let out a growl that sounded more like a laugh.

His war axe was smeared in orc's blood, and his cloak was ripped in several places.
"I am the current leader," replied Phenix, "what do you wish to speak."

As he finished this last sentence, a band of Elves descended from the hills, led by a man in blue. "They are Orves, we must fly!" Celebrien shouted. Carantalath, sitting in front of him on the horse shouted "Noro lim, noro lim!" and the beast leaped forward with such great speed that Celebrien nearly fell from the back of the horse. The Orves let out piercing whistles, and black horses appeared from the woods surrounding them. The Orves were terrifying in appearance, with red-tinted eyes and curved scimitars. The company flew, for they were greatly outnumbered.
OOC:How did the Orves get into the House of Healing?
IC: As the Orves were approaching, Chokang ran over to his overfed pony, Moja.
"Farewell, my faithful friend," Chokang whispered, "The roads ahead are too dangerous for a homely pony like you. I have arranged for you to be returned to the Iron Hills by a resident of Gondor," Chokang looked to the sky, "hopefully we shall meet again..."
Chokang stood fixed on the spot, as ther other rushed past him.
"Hurry, you fool!" cried Celebrien, "We must leave NOW!"
As Phenix rode past Chokang, he reached down and pulled the dwarf onto the back of his steed.

Glorfindel looked back and saw that the Rhun company was in great peril, and 2 were suffering. Glorfindel drew his sword and lunged at the great creature, but his blow was deflected by the sword of his enemy, while at the same time Radagast let off a blinding flash of light and knocked the demon onto it's back. Again Glorfindel jumped in and attempted to kill the beast, but he was thrown off again. This time Radagast took up Rasec's sword and brought it swinging around his head towards the heart of his enemy, but the Dralrog deflected that as well. However, his sword was now broken, and he was left with a whip and fire. He opened his mouth wide and shot white-hot flames towards Glorfindel. Glorfindel ran away from them, but could not keep it up, he leapt up and landed on the back of his enemy. Radagast saw this and used the opportunity to defeat the demon once and for all, he shot blue flames towards the dralrog, knockint backwards. It landed on its back with Glorfindel underneath, however, Glorfindel had been on its back with his sword going into it, the force of the blow from Radagast sent the sword straight through its heart. The Demon let out a great shriek, and then the flames surrounding it were vanquished, and Glorfindel got up, though badly burned and wounded. "You have proven yourself at last Radagast, your name shall now be placed among the mighty of the past, and people will sing about you for ages to come." Carantalath rode as quickly onward as she could on her horse, Tillavella, with Celebrien clinging to her back. She looked over her shoulder and saw the Orves following them. She felt a deep loathing to these creatures but an even deeper one at the thought of having to fight. Carantalath had become very peaceful and didn't want violence any more.
The company soon reached a fork in the path. They were nearly ten minutes ahead of the Orves by now. "Phenix, I think we should split up. To find us, fire this when you are safe. We will come to you." He handed Phenix a firework, then turned and headed off down the left path with Chokang and Carantalath, leaving Dimlondowen, Calimehtar and Phenix to take the right path.

Carantalath slowed Tillavella to a trot as they passed through a field of large shrubs and short, thorny trees.

Without waiting for the elf to reply, Carantalath said to Tillavella, "Noro lim!" They began to ride swiftly southwards and met up with Phenix, Chokang, and Dimlondowen. The entire company crossed into Harad by nightfall.
(OOC: Sorry if someone doesn't like this but I thought we might want to hurry up and finish this RP since there is a lack of participation.)
OOC: Don't worry about it, we actually could have crossed into Harad because we were near the middle of the Mountains Of Shadow.
The land of Harad was a dry, arid land with little shelter. It was also very windy, with many deserts. The company set up camp, and Celebrien began to lay out the battle plans. "We will approach the fortress from the East, many dunes lie in that direction where we can take cover. We will go in by nightfall, we should be there in two or three days. Please try to conserve your water, as there will not be much to be had in this vast desert. Goodnight everyone." He turned over and went to bed.
Chokang did not sleep that night. He spent his time sharpening his axes, and pacing backwards and forwards next to the fire.
As the sun began to rise, Chokang roused the company.
"Quickly, we must be on the move before the heat of the sun sets in," he said, "I suggest we travel during the night after today. There will be less heat, and we will be under the cover of darkness."

Carantalath couldn't sleep well that night. Whenever she fell asleep, she had horrible dreams of evil things but she couldn't remember them when she woke up. When Chokang roused them in the morning, she felt as though she hadn't slept at all.
It was going to be a long day. They would be travelling for all of today and then travelling by night for the rest of the journey. Carantalath was weary of the quest and was sad that she'd ever joined in the first place. But she kept reminding herself of what she was doing for all of Middle Earth and she knew that she was doing the right thing.
"Morlithion, I am Carantalath. We will soon be ending our quest, at least I hope so. We are only a few days away from our destination. But on these last few days, I for one will welcome your company."
"Well we are almost there, let's continue on." The company mounted their horses and moved across the sandy desert towards Alatar's fortress. Luckily for them, it was a very windy day, but not a very hot one. They reached an oasis around noon, and stopped for lunch. "Carantalath, I do not think tonight will be very hard. It's actually a pretty nice day today, and we now have plenty of water. Chokang is right though, we should probably find some sort of cave to take cover in tomorrow." The company continued on well into the night, and finally laid down in a cave to rest at four A.M.
Chokang lay down exhausted, but it didn't take him long to notice a few jewels in the cave walls.
He was just about to start explaining everything that there needs to know about mining to the others, but then realised that they were already sound asleep.
"Oh well," he muttered, "Their loss."
And with that, he fell into a deep slumber.

The company traveled some more after they had all awaken. Carantalath was worried. The food supply was diminishing, and so was the water supply. She was careful to only eat a quarter of a lembas bread and only one sip of water. The climate of Harad was arid and dry and she longed for more water.
Suddenly, after walking for about four hours, Carantalath scanned her eyes across the dry, barren land. She saw, far in the distant though approaching at a quick pace, a small band of orcs. She warned the company and looked for cover to hide behind but the land was flat for miles except for a small clump of thorny bushes. Without thinking about what she was doing, Carantalath turned to her friends and said, "Hurry! To those bushes!"
She jumped into the bushes and her arms and face were scratched from the thorns. The orcs came arrived at the same spot where they had been standing and the leader stopped. He said to his group, "I smell something strange. I don't know what it is but it smells pleasant in a way. What could it be?" Carantalath tensed up in her hiding place and waited.
Celebrien slowly loosed his blades in their sheaths as the orcs continued talking. However, they soon gave up and wandered back into the desert. The Company found a dry cave to rest for the day, and that night they were ready to go.

Carantalath was very cautious as they traveled the following day. She knew that either today or tomorrow, they would reach their destination. She used her keen, elvish eyes to scan the horizon and suddenly, far in the distance, she saw a large fortress that got closer as they rode. "It looks like Allatar's fortress. Should we find a place to camp and go there tomorrow or go right now?"
"We must go now, we should hit an oasis on the way there. Come, let's ride!" The company headed off into the swirling desert and were at Allatar's fortress within a half hour.
"What should we do now?" inquired Chokang, "there is no way that we could beat Allatar in a front on assault.

She feared that any minute, the whole place would be swarming with orcs and other fell things. The fortress was tall, dark, and strong and Carantalath couldn't think of how they would get inside of it without being caught.
OOC: Looking back on the posts for the past few pages, it's mainly me, Carantalath, Pippin_took, Phenix and Elf-Archer755 posting. Should we just say that they are the members of the company? BTW, are the groups ok with everyone?

Celebrien talked to Phenix for awhile before making a decision. "Ok, Chokang will come with me and we will approach from the East. The rest of you will approach from the West, look for some sort of cave or secret entrance. We will rest now." The company lay down to rest.
At night...
The company snuck stealthily out of the cave and towards Allatar's fortress. The final stage of the mission was in motion.
Chokang sorted through his equipment, selecting only to essentials to be able to travel swiftly. He placed everything on the ground, and picked up his war axe, several throwing axes and his war hammer.
"It is time to go, Eöl," he whispered, before turning to the others, "Good luck, and may we meet again at the end of this all."
With that, Chokang and Eöl disappeared into the darkness.

OOC: Yes the groups are fine with me.
Carantalath and her group waited in the cave until it was dark. She said goodbye to Chokang and Celebrien, who left sooner than herself and Phenix. She cleaned out her supplies, taking with her only her sword, a small sack of food, some water, and the medallion from Ramagna. She still considered the medallion to be good luck and it tied her to her old friend in ways that she could not understand.
Phenix and Carantalath walked cautiously towards the western side of the fortress. There was a breeze in the night air and Carantalath saw the stars in the sky and all fear left her. She and Phenix carefully examined the ground, looking for any sign of a cave or a secret entrance.
There were many sharp rocks sticking out of the ground now. Carantalath had to crouch close to the ground as she looked for any trapdoor or hidden doorway. But she couldn't find anything. "Phenix, I did not find anything yet," she called quietly across the land to Phenix, who was searching farther from the fortress.

" neiter do I...no wait I see somekind of ruin a few hundred yards away" he wizpered back" perhaps we should look there" he said now in a more normal voice and began to slowly walk over to the ruin...

Carantalath followed Phenix over to the ruin. She said, "I think that this might be where the secret entrance is. Should we go down there? It seems almost too easy. Do you think its a trap?"
(Sorry about that Phenix!)
Celebrien and Chokang searched the wall for any weaknesses or cracks. There appeared to be nothing wrong with the solid wall. Celebrien sat down in despair, but Chokang continued to look. "Hmm...They certainly could not have made it more obvious here!" With a thrust of his shoulder he broke down a section of the wall. "Good work Chokang!" Celebrien exclaimed, then followed him into the passageway the dwarf had opened up.
Celebrien and Chokang walked into the newly opened entrance, and found themselves in a long hallway made of stone, with torches providing an eerie light. Each torch had the letter 'A' imprinted into it's base.
"Where to now, Celebrien?" Chokang asked.
"I like left," answered Celebrien, seeing that it was sloping slightly upwards.
"Sounds good, lets keep on moving" said Chokang.
The Dwarf and the Elf travelled for some distance along the repetitive hallway until they came to a stone doorway.
"I knew I'd regret going this way," sighed Celebrien.
"No worries, my war-hammer will make short work of this door," grinned Chokang, whilst hoisting the large hammer above his head. After several crushing blows, the door gave way, opening up into yet another hallway, this time a carpeted one with smooth walls on either side.
"That noise might have warned the guards of our presence," whispered Chokang, "We must move fast!"
Celebrien and Chokang crept swiftly down the hall, over lava on bridges and across several chasms. There were no turns for a long distance, but they soon came upon a three way turn. "Well Chokang, which way shall we go?" Celebrien asked. "Let's go left...I do not know why though..." Chokang replied. "Alright, left it is!" They turned and headed off swiftly into the shadows of the eastern path.
As the two of them crept along the path, the walls became thinner and thinner, and noises could be heard in the distance.
"Hmm, on second thoughts, lets head back," whispered Chokang.
Celebrien and Chokang quickly turned around, and headed back, but were shocked to find a large boulder in their path.
"Wizardry!" exclaimed Chokang, "I think we are trapped!"
Many heavy footsteps could be heard coming from the opposite direction, accompanied by orcish laughter.
"Orcs!" hissed Chokang, whilst withdrawing his war axe, "Our only option is to fight our way through them! The narrow path shall be in our favour though, as they can only attack with four at a time at most."
Far above, a deep laughter echoed throughout the hallways.

"I think we should go into the ruin," Phenix answered. The two elves crept cautiously around the ruin, until Carantalath found a trap door. She opened it and said, "Let's go down here. I think this leads to the fortress." Inside the trapdoor, at the bottom of a short, five foot drop, there was a tunnel leading towards the fortress. Carantalath dropped down through the trapdoor and listened. She couldn't hear any noises down the tunnel or see anything in the darkness. She called to Phenix, "I think it's safe down here. Let's go."
"Wait...I have an idea." Celebrien said, he pushed Chokang into a small alcove and said "Stay there, do not come out unless I am in dire straits." With that he positioned himself in the small space above the boulder and rolled a small ball down the hallway. It begins to smoke and soon the entire hallway was filled with a think dense smoke. The orcs stumbled through the smoke, turning and waving their weapons about. Suddenly, a hand reached from the gloom and slit one's throat. The orcs were thrown into confusion and began to stumble about the hallway. One by one they fell prey to Celebrien's knives. The smoke cleared and the dwarf and elf continued down the hallway.
"Nice work, Celebrien," Chokang chuckled, "They didn't even know what hit 'em till too late."
The duo continue down the narrow passage for some time, until it opened up into a large hall with large columns reached to the roof far above. A few torches with the customary letter 'A' imprinted on them lit up the near vicinity, revealing several pictures of an old wizard on the walls.
"Alatar!" whispered Chokang.
Suddenly, the room shook as large metal gates fell down from the roof, blocking off all the exits from the hall.
"It's a trap!" Celebrien yelled, "Quick, we must get out!"
The Elf and Dwarf ran about the hall looking for a way out, but to no avail.
Several deep, thunderous footsteps could be heard from the far end of the hall rushing towards them.
"A cave-troll!" groaned Chokang, "More than one at that! We must stand and fight them, use the columns to your advantage, Celebrien."
Chokang then pulled out his war-axe and turned to face the oncoming trolls.
"I hope the others are having better luck than us," he said under his breath.

Phenix pulled a dagger and began too walk through the tunnel. the tunnel was so dark that the two couldn't even see the walls around them but as they had walked for some time the silute of a door was seen not to far away " finally" Phenix wispeard "what should we do know?, just storm in and finish who ever is inn there...if there's anyone there. Or sneak in?" he asked Carantalath
Carantalath

"I think we should sneak in," Carantalath told Phenix. She heard harsh, orc-like laughter from behind the door. "Though I don't know how sneaking in would work. There are orcs behind the door, " she added in a whisper. She pushed the door open crack with her hand and peered through it. There were three large orcs inside, laughing and eating something so disgusting that Carantalath didn't want to try to guess what it was. There was also a strong, unpleasant stench slipping through the crack in the door. Carantalath opened the door just enough so that she could sneak through.
The orcs were leaning over a carcass on the ground. Carantalath knew that this was their chance. She slipped inside the room and motioned for Phenix to follow. When both of the elves were hidden, behind wooden barrels set up by the wall, Carantalath whispered, "We have to get out that door." She pointed to the door that was behind the orcs. "I think our best chance is to fight them. There are only three of them but they could send others here to help them. What do you think we should do? I don't think we can sneak past them."
Three cave trolls came thundering through the doorway, shattering the part of the arched frame and sending it crashing to the ground. The trolls looked about in confusion, for their was no one in the hall. From the shadows a knife thudded into each troll. Those are poisoned. They should make them a little calmer. thought Celebrien. One troll turned towards Celebrien and stomped towards him with a loud roar. The other two looked around for anyone else. With a loud cry of "Baruk Khazad! Khazad Ai-menu!" Chokang's large war axe plunged into a trolls side.
Phenix

" i'll try too stop them at the door if you keep atacks from here..." Phenix answerd and began teh slow walk over too the oposit side
The trolls leathery hide was too thick for Chokang's axe to penetrate though, and all it did was to cause the troll to become even more infuriated than before. The poison on the first troll's veins moved only slowly, and would be some time till it took effect on the massive beast.
"Hold them off!" yelled Chokang whilst jumping out of the way of a large chain being weilded by one of the trolls, "I have a plan."
Celebrien lept in front of the three trolls, and gained their attentions, and letting Chokang sneak behind them.
The dwarf then pulled out his war hammer, and with a mighty blow, struck the base of one of the massive stone columns. The trolls jumped up in surprise, causing the ground to shake, completing the job started by Chokang. The column leaned to one side, and then to the other before crashing down in a huge cloud of dust. By the time the air had settled, only two trolls remained, one of which was beginning to feel the effects of Celebrien's lethal poison and was starting to stagger.
"This one is your's Celebrien," smirked Chokang, "I feel like causing some wanton destruction!"
Chokang then left the Elf, and ran to one of the walls of the hall, and started to hew down the massive portraits of Alatar hanging on the wall.
Celebrien sheathed his sword, and drew several small daggers from hidden scabbards in his cloak. With lightning speed he whipped them at the troll who was still standing then whirled and crouched behind a pillar. He wasn't quite quick enough, and the trolls chain whip caught the side of his face, leaving a long cut on it. He looked down at the floor as blood slowly dripped from the cut, then turned and ran across the hall. The troll swung his chain, but Celebrien ducked and rolled under it. The chain latched itself around a pillar, and Celebrien shoved a dagger through it to keep it secure. While the troll struggled to free himself, Celebrien drew Anglachel and charged head on at the trolls open stomach. The blade bit deep, spilling black blood onto the floor. The troll slowly collapsed and fell with an earth-shattering thud.
The last remaining cave-troll staggered aimlessly for a few seconds as Celebrien's poison took it's toll, before a well directed throwing axe from Chokang struck it on the side of the head. The beast fell down with a tremendous crash, rattling Chokang and Celebrien to the bone.
"Well that's that," Chokang smirked, looking at the trolls and the defaced portaits on the wall, "Now how shall we get out of here?"
But before Celebrien could respond, a yell of anger could be heardthroughout the hall, followed by clamour of metal and the scurrying of heavy feet.
"You really shouldn't have done that," said Celebrien, whilst looking at the pictures of Alatar that Chokang had destroyed, "Alatar will not like that in the slightest!"
Suddenly, the entire western wall of the hall exploded, throwing the Elf and the Dwarf to the ground. Boulders came flying through the air, narrowly missing Chokand and Celebrien. Masses of orcs quickly came running through the newly opened hole, and headed straight for the heroes.
OOC: Now would be a good time for Phenix and Carantalath to appear....

" sory for beeing late...did we missed something?" Phenix asked the two with a big smile, firing two arows against the closest orcs
" how may are there?" Phenix then asked" we meet a few on uor way here from the jail level aswell...they seems too be countless"

Carantalath stabbed an orc in the stomach with her next swing. "There's too many of them. We're outnumbered by too much! What should we do?" she asked over the noise of the fighting. She cut at the arm of another orc and narrowly missed being cut herself.
She looked around and saw that there was a throne now in the room. Sitting on it was an old man, wearing blue robes. From his staff, Carantalath saw that he was a wizard. "It's Allatar!" she said to Phenix, who was the closest to her.
Chokang sat up groggily from the rubble, to see Carantalath and Phenix battling a host of orcs. There were dozens of them charging through gap in the wall, and although Carantalath and Phenix were valiant, they were being forced backwards by the vile beasts. Chokang survayed the vast hall, but could not see Celebrien anywhere. What he did see though, shocked him; Alatar was sitting on a throne near to where his pictures had been. There was fire in his eyes, and he appeared to be enjoying seeing his orcs coming ever closer to victory.
Chokang then snapped out of his daze, and ran up to help the two Elves, war-axe in hand.
"Where's Celebrien?" shouted Phenix, whilst hewing off the head of a large orc.
"I don't know," replied Chokang, "I think he's buried under the rubble somewhere."
The Dwarf then charged into the mass of orcs, and started slaying orcs, two at a time with his mighty axe. Orc blood covered his armour, and piles of orcish limbs piled up beside him.
In the distance Alatar began to laugh at the heroes, having decided that their doom was sealed.
"Foolish beings," he smirked, "I shall enjoy watching you die. I hear that your group of little acquaintances has tried to slay my friend Pallanto too. Well let me assure you that their fate shall be the same as yours!"
Alatar then stood up and cast his hand towards the battle, sending a bolt of lightning across the hall, throwing Phenix and a dozen orcs across the floor, and against the stone wall.

Phenix saw the bolt coming bu was unbale too move away couse of the orcs around him. the bolt hit the ground in front of him and the impact made him and a dossin orcs fly away. As Phenix landed he quikly got up and blocked an oncoming orc. he then turned around and shouted towards Chokang
" take care of the orc I'll try to get to Alatar" then he killed an orcs with a stab in the stomage and away past the room he stoped to take care of two orcs that had escaped the dwarf and slaughtered them he then picked up an small dagger which he throwed against altars throne. at first it seemed too hit him but sudenlty it bounced away hiting the stoe floor. the wizard turned towards Phenix
" your fool. nothing can kill me I'm invinsible" he screamed and fired a whirling boll of fire against the elf which hit him in the righ shoulder and made him fall over. As he fell to the ground the orcs throwed them self over him. at first Phenix defended him self against the big swords wielded by the rocs but soon he got tired and bigger and biger wounds began too apears on his arms and chest. betwine the big bodies of teh orcs he saw Carantalath slaying a orc and began too shout
" Carantalath, quick...get em of me!!" he yelled before a heavy orc fell over him, takeing teh breath out of him
Celebrien shivered, and awoke. He was under a massive pile of rubble thrown from the broken wall. He drew Anglachel, sharper than nearly any blade. It sliced through the rock like a knife through butter. Celebrien staggered up and climbed free of the pile, only to see Phenix under some orcs, and Carantalath and Chokang fading fast under a severe onslaught. He rose up and held Anglachel at his side. Charging into battle, he broke the orc's defenses and slew their leader. Rushing to Phenix's aid, he pulled him from under the orcs. The four warriors now faced Alatar alone. In that moment, Celebrien had never felt so alone. The feeling passed when he saw his friends standing firm by him.

the orcs now fleed out of the hall leaving altar and the four fighers alone
" let's finish this" Phenix said and slowly walked over towards altar, he bleed from several wounds but a strange force keept him standing and together with his friends he made himself ready for battle. Altar rose from the throne and a loud laughter ws hear from deep within him.
" fools my army has already marched towards the human world nothing can stoop me now!!!!!!!"
" we'll just have tooo se about that"
Chokang threw two throwing axes at Alatar, but they fell harmlessly to the ground.
"No wizards magic shall keep me from moving!" yelled the Dwarf whilst struggling forward against an unseen force, his heavy iron boots slowly inching forward.
"Pitiful beings!" laughed Alatar, whilst casting his hands towards the roof, "Why waste your short lives on me?". The ground began to shake, and large boulders began to fall from above. The unseen force let go of the company, and they ran about the place dodging the falling rocks.
Alatar began to float above the ground, and started shooting balls of energy at the Elves. But unknown to anyone, Chokang had snuck away from the ever-watchful eyes of the Maia. He raised his war-axe, and lunged at Alatar.
"Baruk Khâzad! Khâzad ai-menu!" he cried, whilst in mid-air.
Alatar, sensing Chokang's presence, dived away from Chokang's axe. But it was not quick enough to stop Chokang's axe from cleaving Alatar's lower left leg clean off at the knee.
Alatar screamed in agony, and sent bolts of lightning in every direction, sending all four members of the company to the ground.

As Carantalath dodged energy balls, she noticed that Chokang had gone missing. Then, she saw his axe slice off Alatar's lower leg. In fascination of a small victory for the four fighters, she didn't see Alatar aiming an energy ball at her. She saw it coming and moved slightly to the side but it still hit her. The blast hit her right shoulder and she dropped her sword. Then, she fainted to the ground.

Phenix saw Carantalath fall to the ground and turned towards Celebrien "keep going she'll be alright" he shouted wiht an anxiusly look towards her. now they had almost reache daltar and his lighitng beams fell upon them more often and harder. altars los of blood seemed too weekened him though and it was obvius how hard it was for him to fire at them.
Celebrien cast a dark look at Alatar as Carantalath fell to the ground. He held up Anglachel and charged at the wizard. He was met with a massive energy shield block by Alatar. They stood face-toface, staring at each others eyes. Celebrien's grey eyes giving away nothing, Alatar's sea blue eyes seemingly staring into Celebrien's soul. They held that position, then both jumped back. Alatar's leg wound was already sealed and no longer bleeding.
Alatar then fired a plume of fire at Chokang, throwing him to the ground next to the already unconscious Carantalath. Chokang was spent, and as his life force drained away, he saw Celebrien and Phenix valiantly trying to hold off Alatar.
"Now you know how it feels Dwarf!" Alatar laughed, whilst unsheathing his mystical sword, Khadrum, and turning his attention back to Celebrien and Phenix. "Now it's your turn!"
Phenix

OOC: How on Middle Earth are we going to kill Alatar? Because right now, it's impossible. Does anyone have any ideas?
IC: Carantalath was unconscious on the floor for a while, as Phenix and Celebrien were still fighting Alatar. She suddenly woke up, with her shoulder full of pain. She groped around for her sword and found it lying a few foot away from her. She crawled across the floor and picked it up. Slowly, she stood up, prepared to die fighting if she had to.
Celebrien strode forwards and shouted "Alatar, I challenge you to a one on one fight!" The wizard laughed mockingly, then answered "Alright, if you think that yourself, a mere Elf, can defeat me, a High Istari!" "You are no longer high, you fell from that position a long time ago. The only Istari deserving of the title of High is Olorin, and you know I speak true!" Celebrien said with a smirk. Alatar gave no answer but an angry glare, and suddenly the company was on top of a large platform. Celebrien held his sword ready, hoping to somehow survive this encounter.
OOC: I'm sure Radagast will disagree with that, Eol ;)
And lets not forget about Alatar's ring (I suppose that could be his weakness)

"Oh no! What should we do?" Carantalath asked. Celebrien started to fight with Alatar. She tried to step forward and help him but the invisible wall was still there. She banged her fists at the wall in anger.
But she then turned her attention on Chokang, who looked on the edge of death. She knelt down beside Phenix and tried to clean up his wounds. "He's not looking very good," she said to Phenix.
Alatar held up his hand and his sword appeared in it. "Prepare to die, Elf!" he shouted, then charged. Celebrien held up his blade, and met the wizard with full force. Static crackled around them as their swords met. The rest company stared with amazement as the two dueled.
Chokang's soul slowly began to drift away from from the others. I'm dying..., thought Chokang, I am going to the Halls of Mandos for judgement....
Suddenly, Chokang jumped up with a start, his face covered in perspiration. Carantalath and Phenix were staring at him with intense concern.
"What are you fools doing?" he asked with a tone of surprise in his voice, "What happened to Alatar?"
Chokang's question was answered almost immediately, when a clash of swords came from where Celebrien was battling with Alatar.
"There is some sort of magical shield preventing us from helping Celebrien!" noted Phenix, "What should we do?"
The Dwarf stared at where the invisable barrier supposidly was, before reaching down and picking up a small rock. Chokang then took aim, and lobbed the stone high into the air, above where the force field was being generated. As he expected, the stone completed it's trajectory unopposed.
"The field only goes so high," noted Chokang, "And I presume that it is being generated by the Ring on his finger...."
Chokang grasped hold of his lucky throwing axe, feeling the gems encrusted into the handle before turning back to the other two Elves.
"Stand just next to the barrier, and hope that this works," he instructed. "Oh fair Barak-Kar, travel swiftly through the air, and reach your target true..." he whispered to the axe, before hurlng it above the field. It seemed like everything went in slow motion as the axe rotated slowly towards Alatar, slicing through the air like a hot knife through butter. At the last second, Alatar glanced up to see the axe only centimeters away, but it was to no avail, and the axe found it's target.
Even before Alatar's Ring (and finger) reached the ground, Chokang, Carantalath and Phenix were already running to the aid of Celebrien...

"Celebrien, are you already?" Carantalath asked her friend as she, Phenix, and Chokang gathered around him.
Alatar was not alright. He yelled in anger, and pain, as he realized what had happened. He had lost his ring, not to mention his finger, and he was angry about, wanting revenge. "Just because I lost my ring, it does not mean that I am powerless!" Alatar yelled to Carantalath, Phenix, Chokang, and Celebrien.
He drew his sword in his unwounded hand and walked towards the three elves and the dwarf.

"Are you strong enough too fighting?" Phenix asked Chokang. The dwarf nodded and the four approached the wizard, holding their weapons ready. Then al four attacked. Axe ,sword and dagger fell upon the wounded altar who tried too defend himself, the fight were hard and the wizard fought back the four more than once, but even a wizard can't hold back four fighter forever and finally he stumbled and fell. He crawled back from the fours blades but after a wile the platform ended and behind him was nothing but darkness. The wizards then got up
”You will never kill me!!" he shouted and fired a last energy ball at the group. It missed and hit the ground way past the four, but the wizards’ powers were no depleted and he fell to his knees. He tried too get up with the sword above his head, ready to destroy the first one that would approach but the weight was to heavy and he lost his balance and fell down from the platform. He gave out a terrible scream as he realized that he was falling but it was already too late and soon he was gone in the darkness underneath

(Good ending Phenix!)
"I can't believe it," Carantalath said, "He's gone. We did it. I hope our friends that went to Rhun were as successful as we were." She realized that they were standing back in the hall from before. The whole fortress was shaking and Carantalath yelled over the noise, "The fortress is going to collapse! Follow me!" Carantalath led the way out of the fortress, using the tunnel which she and Phenix had came in through.
Out of the tunnel and back on the plains of Harad, the four fighters ran. "I think we're safe now," Carantalath said as the fortress collapsed. "Is anyone hurt?"
"No I think we are all right, except for Chokang...Here, take some of this Master Dwarf. It is like miruvor." Celebrien answered. Chokang took a swallow, and was able to get back on his feet after Carantalath bandaged him up. "We should probably head back to Rivendell now." said Phenix. The company packed up and began the long journey home. A few weeks and several battles later, they were home.
OOC: Nice end post Phenix! One of your best, in my opinion! Any last thougts, anyone? If not, an excellent end to an excellent Rp! And thanks for those who posted till the end...*coughs* Lack of participation bothers me...Anyway...
OOC: Hmmm, that was a sudden ending...
But it will do. Well played guys. :)
I'll post in the Rivendell thread for the reunion.
