*Loss urges her horse to ride faster and begins to catch up*

"Noro lim Wahini!!!!" *Wahini kicks up to a faster pace and comes running past Loss and Nef*

Nef frowns and tells Serrets to hurry up but Lai is too fast "Oh well guess I'll cheat" Nef smirks and glows changeing into a Dragon and picking up Serrets zooming past Lai. "Seeya in Lothlorien!"

*Lai watches Nef's shadow go by and smiles then yells* "CHEATER!!!":)

*Loss shakes her head and cannot believe Lai and Nef are fighting*

"Slow and steady wins the race"

"Noro Lim Wahini!!" Wahini kicks it up and speeds off even faster than before... "He's not even tiring with this new feed i have been giving him"

*Loss isn't worried about it at all and knows she'll get there sooner or later*

Saejia speeds up now very close to Lothlorien "First prize will go to Saejia or Nef!"

"No!!" lol *Lai pushes Wahini even faster...*

Nef now 10 ft from the city changes and lets Serrets race her to victory "Yes I win!"

Lai comes shortly behind her laughing.. "Cheater" haha

"Hey its not my fault I'm a Dragoelve I was just using myself to win so I didn't really cheet" Nef smirks

"well still all we had was horses" Lai says jokingly.. Wahini snorted like it was an insult.. "No offense Wahini.. your the best horse I could ask for" Lai says rubbung Wahini's neck "He didnt even break a sweat"

*Loss doesn't arrive too far behind*

*She dismounts from Tilerial*

"So, we all made it. Where to from here?"

"I dunno but I must say that was refreshing" Nef says stretching.

"I dunno. Where shall we head off to now?"

"Yea and Wahini needed a good run... Let see where have we been to so far..."

"weve neen to Hobbiton, Lothlorien, Fangorn... What about Mirkwood??"

"Sure but can we go tomorrow I wanna go home for one night"

"Its alright to me. There are some people here I would like to stop off at and say hi to that I know beofre we leave again. That alright?"

"Sounds great to me seeya then!" Nef gets on Serrets and rights off swiftly toward her home.

*Loss ties Tilerial up and begans to walk towads the woods, looking back often to make sure no one sees where she is walking to*

Nef gets to her home, puts Serrets in her stall, goes inside and flops down on her bad happy to be home.

*Loss goes through the woods under the shade of the trees, and quickly disappears into the foilage. She is silent, except for a few brief words of another language that one cannot understand unless they move in closer to her...O taojilye aen...O taojilye aen...*

ic-*Farther along the trail that Loss takes, there begins to appear a settlement of some sort*

ic: Nef gets up and goes for a walk taking in the scenery.

*Loss keeps walking through the woods, and suddenly she sees someone standing behind a tree*

"Vanadan....I am so happy to see you again...I have missed you"

ic: Nef continues to walk through the woods. She see's loss talking to another so she hops in a tree and watches hidden by branches and leaves.

ic- *Loss embraces the man* "I am so happy to see you, I thought you were supposed to meet me in Fanghorn! I was so worried about you!"

ic: Nef watches intently trying not to make a sound.

*The man runs his hand through Loss's hair*

"I have missed you as well. I didn't come to Fanghorn because my father needed me to help him in the Councils, and by the time they were done you already had left Fanghorn."

*Loss brushes his cheek with her hand*

"But you're here now, and that's all that matters."

Lai gets on Wahini and goes riding in to town..

Nef leans closer in but a branch snaps, she freezes.

*Both Loss and V. stop and jerk their heads towards the sound of the cracking branch*

"Who's there?"

*Both of them go off and try to see who is there*

Lai doesnt know where Nef and Loss is but she sends a telepathic message to them... Hey Nef, Loss, I'm in town, do you need any supplies??

Nef waits and doesn't send one back but quickly she jumps into a higher branch without making a noise. She can see the others fine...

ok i'll get some arrows, food, and other things

Lai ties Wahini to a nearby hitching post and walks into a shop..
Owner: "May I help you miss?"

Lai: "Yes, can you show me where the arrows are??"

Owner: "Right over here."

Lai: "Thanks."

Nef thinks: I could never stand someone calling me miss.

Lai gets a couple of bundles of arrows, gets some food, and some drinks, buys some food for the horses, and buys mdical supplies.. "I think that will do." Lai says as she comes to the owner.

Owner: "You don't have to pay me, you can have it all for free.."

Lai: "Are you sure?"

Owner: "Yes we are closing soon so we need to sell everything.."

Lai: "Ok whatever"
Lai walks out of the store and over to Wahini.. She packs all of the supplies in the saddle bags. she unties him and mounts and rides on.

*Loss surprised by Lai's message, quickly sends a 'no thank you' back, and V. and Loss don't find the person-or thing- that made the branches snap*

"Come with me, Loss" *V. says to her*

*She follows him deeper into the woods*

Nef quietly hops along the branches following them.

Lai goes through town and out through open field, so she decides to let Wahini graze a bit. She dismounts, unsaddles and lets him run loose and graze. Lai finds a tree nearby, climbs up in it and looks around..

Nef sees them go into the clearing and go into the woods acrosss it but Lai is there so Nef quickly flashes by and gets across

*Loss and V. and cautious, feeling someone's presence behind them but not knowing who it is. In a heartbeat, they disappear*

Nef quickly hops around the trees and finds them quickly.

[Lossengondiel]

*Loss and V. reappear father back in the woods, away from spying eyes*

"I need you to come with me Lossengondiel. My father is in desperate need of your counsel."

"Why?" *Loss asks*

Nef is watching them and they don't sense her.

*they continue to stroll through the woods*

"Our people are rebelling against him and the council. He needs you because they will listen to you."

"Why me? Why can't they talk to Myswe or Iluyu?"

"Because they trust you."

Nef continues to follow them

"What are they rebelling about this time?"

"Your father..."

"WHAT?"

"He wants to move the village to the Grey Havens"

"Leave Middle Earth...why?"

"...and he wants you to come with us..."

Lai falls asleep in the tree.. She lays there, but she falls out. She begins walking into the woods.. She spots Loos and the other guy. She hops in the tree and spots Nef nearby.. She stays crouched, silent and hidden among the trees.

*Loss can't believe what she is hearing*

"That can't be true, my father would never force me to leave. What has happened to him? Why has he become this way? I am not leaving Middle Earth. I will not go."

Nef see's Lai but stays quiet and continues to watch

[Lossengondiel]

"No, V., I'm not going! I won't!"

*Breaks away and begins to walk back through the forest*

Nef follows Loss silently through the tree's

*loss comes up to a cool stream and goes in*

Lai follows Nef and stays in a tree by the rivers edge out of sight.

Nef peers over and watches.

*Loss sits down and angrily splashes water*

"Why does my father want me to leave? I told him before that my life was here now..."

*V. comes up*

"Lossengondiel..."

"What?"

"I will stand by your decision, whatever you choose. You're right, your father can't make you do anything. You're a grown woman now."

Nef chooses this moment to appear so she drops down by V "Well I'm glad two other people think that" Nef smirks.

"Oh no, Nef, how long have you heard whats going on? Oh...this is a disaster..."

[Nefmariel]

"I've heard everything since the beginning although that twig almost gave me away . . . hey Lai you can come down now!"

[Lossengondiel]

"No no no no NO! You weren't supposed to hear any of that...the both of you!!"

[Nefmariel]

"well sorry we couldn't help ourselfs. your not goin are you?"

[Lossengondiel]

"Humph...of course not, AM I V???????"

[Nefmariel]

"Well thats good, our hearts are here glad yours is too" Nef smiles then goes straight faced again.

"What am I going to tell me father?"

"The truth." *V. simply puts*

"Just say your not going we'll back you up" Nef is still straight faced

[Lossengondiel]

*Loss shakes her head*

"Oh, I don't know what to do..."

"Don't worry we're here"

*Loss lays back, clearly at a loss for words and for what to do*

Nef slaps her forhead and shakes her head "QUIT Worrying about IT!" Nef yells clearly annoyed.

"sorry....I just don't know how to handle this, thats all..."

"Don't worry your the smart one you'll come up with something" Nef smirks.

"Me, the smart one? Please stop smirking at me, this hasn't been a good day. Fine, I suppose all there is to do is to go to my father and tell him that I'm not leaving no matter what I say."

"Ok lets go . . . sorry Lai we'll go to Mirkwood after this ok?"

"Ok then Lai? Lets go, he's not too far away from here."

"OK that's fine with me!!" *Lai says finally coming down from the tree... "I'm with ya all the way!!"

"Alright then...let's go! I'll lead the way"

*Leads them into the woods*

Lai starts following Loss

"Wait!!" Lai whistles and Wahini comes galloping up. Lai hops on.
"Okay I'm ready now."

"I'll just walk I can fly if my legs get tired" Nef begins to follow the others.

*Loss leads them through the trees and it seems like forever before she finally stops*

Lai looks around.

"So where are we??"

Nef runs to catch up and pants

"I repeat Lai's question"

"We have travelled to the forests outside of Rivendell, to see my father"

[Nefmariel]

"Ok lets go"

*They continue to walk through the woods a little more, and finally they begin to see some magnificent buildings*

"wow... its so beutiful"

Nef straight faced continues to follow but marvels at the architecture (sp?)

*Soon they begin to see people in small houses who look at Loss as they walk as if they know her*

Lai looked around.... even Wahini looked around at the great buildings.

"This way, we're almost there" *Loss leads them to the most magnificent building they've seen yet*

Nef is astonished by the new building Loss has shown them.

"This is the government house...and where my father lives"

"Wow... It's very nice indeed."

"Come in come in" and Loss leads them inside

Lai hops off Wahini and lets him go... Then she follows Loss inside.... Her mouth agape.

Loss leads them through many rooms and past many people finally stopping beside a huge elaborate door

Nef's mouth still shut follows at a slight distance.

*Loss gives a sigh*

"In here...is my father...he doesn't know that I'm here yet..."

Lai closes her mouth and stays silent as she follows Loss into the room.

Nef follows a little bit behind Lai and Loss.

*Loss takes a breath and knocks on the door*

"Who is it?" a deep voice calls

Nef stays silent until Loss speaks up.

"Ahem, father?"

*Tall, dark, gruff man looks up*

"Oh, its you, what do you want?"

Nef looks a bit disgusted at him for addressing Loss like that but she stays quiet.

*Loss is ignorant of the way her father talks to her; she's grown accustomed to it...*

"Father, I am not leaving middle earth with you"

*Her fathers face turns a nasty shade of reddish-purple*

Nef takes one step forward looking even more disgusted.

Lai just stares at him ready to back Loss up.

He stands up, clearly angry

"You will not speak to me like that, you insolent unthankful girl! I raised you and fed you and kept you safe from the world. You will do as I say, and you will come with me to the Grey Havens"

No, I won't. You can't keep me from the world any longer. The world that I now belong to

Nef steps up beside Loss grimacing at her father.

"Who is...this?"

[Nefmariel]

"Nefmariel Greenwillow of Lothlorien" Nef says still grimacing.
"Why are you being so rude and cruel to your own daughter?"

"Daughter? Hmph...she does not act like my daughter..."

[Nefmariel]

"Well you sure don't act like a father or anything else except a rude slob" Nef says speaking up loader.

[Lossengondiel]

*stands up angered*

"how dare you speak to me in that manner!!"

"I'm just speaking the truth"

[Lossengondiel]

"Truth? what truth?! I have raised that ungrateful little girl, and when I tell her to come with me, she practically refuses!"

"I do refuse" Loss pipes up

"You can't force her to do anything you creep! If she doesn't want to go with a creepy, greedy, slob like you I think she's got good reason!" Nef yells.

"How dare you!! Out, out out now!! She is coming with me whether you like it or not!!"

"Um, no I'm not. I'm not going anywhere!"

"I will not and she's not going you creep!" Nef walks up to him and slaps him across the face "Quit being a jerk!"

Guards! Guards! Escort her out of here immediately!

But Loss blocks their way

Nef doesn't stop she just continues to get very mad. The gaurds break through and Nef quickly changes into a Dragon and roars. "Get back!"

Nef...NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! But Nef picks her up and sets her on her back and flies out of there

Nef lands and hides Lai and Loss, torches the rest of the gaurds, changes and begins to walk up to Loss's dad again.

Dad looks shaken but still angry

Nef pushes him on his back and puts a foot on him, her arm on her knee she leans over him. The gaurds begin to come but nef gives them a look and they stop and back off. She turns back to him "Is Loss still going with you?"

"Well are you?" Nef looks furrious

"She can stay with me and Lai, and the Lothlorien elves aren't going yet anyways, but when they are I'm going probably" nef finishes. That'll be a sad day when Lorien is deserted. nef thinks to herself "Lets go" she says to the others and she begins to walk out.

Guards ruch up in front of Nef...

Nef sighs "I'm getting really sick of this!" Nef changes back into a dragon and she picks up the gaurds and throws them all behind her. Nef changes again and walks out.

Nef turns around and looks them in the eye "Why do you want to get your butts kicked?"

Have respect young lady I'm just trying to do what is best for my daughter

"She's old enough to do what she wishes now so let her decide for herself"

She is still my daughter and I have the responsibility to make sure that nothing happens to her

"Well you don't act like she's your daughter and we're leaving! Come on Lai, Loss" Nef begins to walk out the door.

Loss looks confused for a moment but then follows Nef but then...

Nef stops and looks over her shoulder gasping.

ooc: Loss think of something good!

Loss's father is changing into an evil creature...a balrog!

"Father! A balrog? NO!"

She faints...

Nef curses at the top of her voice "Loss, Lai run!" Nef then turns to the Balrog changes and charges into him.

ooc: nice work!

NEF! Be careful! But Lai pulls her out the door

ic: "Don't worry about me now get out!" Nef then gets smacked in the head but quickly recovers and headbutts him

Loss struggles in vain to get back to Nef

Nef quickly turns "Lai get Loss away!" but the balrog then hits her in the back sending her across the room.

Loss breaks free and runs over to Nef

"Loss! Get the heck outta here!" Nef bellows in Loss's face as she is picked up by the balrog and thrown in the opposite wall.

NO! I'm not leaving you!

"Your distracting me I don't want to have to worry about someone now the both of you get out!" Nef charges the balrog, but he kicks her face first in a wall.

Loss runs over to Nef but she won't wake up...

Oh no!

Nef groans a bit, the balrog smashes her back "Arg!" Nef yells. She gets up and charges into him

[Lossengondiel]

Loss is helpless and doesn't know what to do...

[Nefmariel]

"Leave!" Nef yells at Loss while she breaths fire on the balrog who isn't affected.

[Lossengondiel]

No! I have to find a way to help you!

[Nefmariel]

"Get me some ice water then. I'm serious it could help me out" Nef gets rammed into the wall again and the balrog has her pinned. I gasp "quickly!"

Um, alright! *Runs and gets Nef...ice water*

"Here you go!"

[Nefmariel]

Nef drinks it, kicks the balrog off her and breaths Ice! on him. He freezes. Nef kicks him and he shatters into tiny peices. Nef toters slowly and falls on the ground making the ground shake and the ceiling nearly collapse, she fainted.

A bit of blood trickles out of her mouth, then more and more.

She suddenly goes limp, her head turns so that its facing diagonally upwards her neck towards Loss but she doesn't move and blood begins to flow out harder . . .

Loss picks her up and carries her out the door...

Nef! Can you warp us back to Fanghorn and your healer?

ic: Before Loss carried her out Nef turned back into an elve to tired to stay a Dragon. She began to bleed even more. Now she can't even move and is close to dead.

But Loss surprises even herself when she warps herself the two of them to Fanghorn

Nef is very limp and she only can wheeze for breath

*The healer comes rushing out*

"Help help! She's stopped breathing!"

*Healer runs inside and comes back out with a small vial*

*Has Nef drink vial*

Nef spits up an ice shard that had gotten stuck in her stomach and had caused her internal bleeding. It was covered and dripping with dark red blood. Blood starts to spit up blood.

*The healer goes and gets another vial which he has Nef drink, and soon the bleeding stops*

"Feeling better Nef?"

Nef gasps a bit "Yeah thats why I don't like to breath ice if I can help it, although I've only done it once and it wasn't quite that bad."

Ah so don't do that so much then, and you'll be okay! :)

"I normally don't but I didn't have a choice! Man your dads a . . ." she curses then.

Loss just shrugs. She doesnt give a curse!

Nef then slams the door open with her foot and walks out into the woods.

Nef runs for about an hour then lyes high up in a tree looking at the twilight sky

Lai begins to walk in the direction that Nef went.

nef picks off leaves and burns them her hair slowly turning black.

Minyachamwen stands there and sighs...she didn't think they would take this as badly as they did...she goes out and looks for them both...

Lai walks into the forest and spots the small curls of smoke.. She gets there quickly and sees Nef.

"Nef what is the matter with you?? You act so different now.... You are turning evil aren't you?? Is there like anything you need to talk about or something? You know I will always be here."

" I need to talk about nothing, I just prefer to be alone at times. . . You've had it easy." Nef then gets up and starts to walk along the branches.

"Nef!! You know NOTHING of my past life!! And I mean NOTHING!!! You don't know all of the hardships I have had to go through.. I know you think my life is perfect, but it isn't! You don't know half of who I am!"

"Oh yeah being a princess must a been really hard! You know" she curses "about my life! I don't want anyone to know about it its hard enough as it is! So shut the" curses again " up about my life!"

Nef walks over and stares at the main part of the tree.

Lai shakes her head and yells back to Nef. "You know I haven't always been a Princess!!! I had a past life!! I don't know who my parents are they abandoned me! I don't even know if I'm a real Princess they just assumed I was!! And I know for a fact I wasn't b/c the only thing I knew about my parents was that they were evil!! I just tried to stick it out and play miss "goody tush shoo" Princess!!! I am NOT who you think I am!!!!!"


Lai's eyes are black, but firey at the same time.

ic: Nef whirls around her hair now pitch black and her outfit too. Her hair glowing a bit "Just shut the" she swears"up! You had it easy compared to me little miss priss!"

Lai calls Wahini and hops on and rides off leaving Nef and Loss her two best friends... Well one now at least way behind.

by the time Nef is done talking to Lai Minyachamwen is gone from the spot Nef had seen her

Nef yells in frustration and jumps from branch to branch back to Lothlorien.

Minyachamwen follows her to Lothlorien

Nef gets home and flops in her bed very frustrated. "God this is annoying!"

Lai rides long and hard all the way to the Shire for a break from everything in her life that was going on. She went off by herself in the woods, sat down against a tree and cried, for everything that just happened all sunk in. She just relized she lost one of her best friends and probabally will never speak to ehr as long as she lives.

She yells, "My life is a living He**!!!!"

Minyachamwen wonders if the 'friend' is really her...

Nef doesn't cry she just lyes there. She gets up and walks up the tallest tree and looks at the sunset.

Lai reads Minya's mind and sends her a telepathic message:
Yes you are that friend.... Where are you?

Minya sends back a message, or at least tries...I'm behind this tree. What do you mean you lost me as a friend? I'm still here, aren't I?

Nef hears this and doesn't make a sound she just listens.

No No!! I know I didn't lose you. I lost Nef. It really upsets me and makes me wander why.

She's pushing everyone away and making it seem like it's our fault!!

I know... and she doesn't get how hard my life has been. I had a horrible childhood that I hope noone else will ever have to live through.
