Come December 2003, I'm certain that enterprising theatres will delight many enthusiasts by showing all three films in one sitting. Would YOU indulge yourself by spending a day/night watching all three in one go? Surely this represents well over nine hours of pure bliss? How many times would you watch the trilogy?
I would do it. There really isn't much else to say though, I clearly think it would be enjoyable otherwise I wouldn't do it. I just like fanatic things like that, all three movies one after one as if they were one movie, and why not? They are one story.
I don't think there would be too much of a demand for this though, and I imagine that some people who go would only do so because their friends were doing it. I somehow imagine that mostly people under 25 would do this.

Well, I am nearly twice that age and I would do it. But I would need a couple of sanitary breaks in between!

I would, but eventually my butt would go numb. There would have to be intermissions.

I definitely would, but I'd need some breaks to go to the toilet...

I would do it, but i am sure they would jack up the price a lot for this showing...
Well if they jack up the prices they can jack up the comfort, recliners, and a waitress who comes around with tea during break.

I'd do it. But the tickets would prolly be sold out within the hour, just like the FotR/TTT run...

Yes!! Absolutely!! But without the kids, and maybe even the dh for that matter. That would be MY time to live out my dream!!
I had not heard that FOTR and TTT were shown together. Was this only in selected cities or something? Or just to kick off TTT?

In my area (maybe the whole country) it was in selected cinemas.
Offcourse to kick off TTT.

As long as they serve coffee and have intermissions, count me in!

I love to do it!
I'd need some creature comforts, though.
In two years time when the extended DVD of ROTK is issued I'll most certainly do it in the comfort of my own home. I'm looking forward to it already!:D

Only by DVD. And even then, you're looking at close to 10 hours of movie. I'd have to find 10 hours straight to do it, but that's another story.
With all 3 DVD EEs, you'd be looking at closer to 11 hours!

I might consider doing it with my friends and family but I personally don't think that I would like to spend a full day doing nothing but watching movies. It just seems like a waste of my time. No offense to anyone. I would happily go see them one right after the other, but I think that I would want my day time to be put to better use. I dunno. I might change my mind. Who knows?
