"We'll get you yet Craig!!!" Kellivara yelled after the human pitifully trying to outrun the three female elves. "Nefmariel!! Lhunsoroniel!!! Let's get him!!!" she called as they began to run after him, gaining on the human rather quickly.



OOC: any elves and/or drow are welcome to join and help us glue elf ears on Craig, and any humans are welcome to join and attempt to help Craig, but just make sure you understand that if you decide to help Craig you are volunteering as a target to have elf ears glued on yourself too:p:D :p

yeh lets get him! *starts listening and looking running swiftly and smoothly* I think I hear him up....there points to the tip of a tree and he starts yelling "you'll never get me up here!" * I jump from branch to branch till I'm eyelevel with him , he says "ooh um".....

"HOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" *Kell yells up to Neff*
"Let him run, count down from 15, it's no fun if the chase ends so quickly;) besides, we all know we can get him, so let's see how far he runs......*snickers*"

ok I'll wait *next part is in elvish so Craig doesn't understand* but can i pretend to, to get him to jump down? it would be like coming at him with the ears but I won't really that ok?

Oh goody, a thread dedicated to chasing me :rolleyes: I suppose it's my own fault for saying that if it carried on in S & B it would just be counted as spam, but if it were in RP: Lighthearted it would be alright...

One major complaint, though, the title is spelled wrongly! It clearly says Honorary, when we all know, it should be spelled, honoury :p

And just for your information, this thread is continued from the shenanigans started by myself and Frodorocks in Anyone An Elf? (http://www.thetolkienforum.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=7731&perpage=15&pagenumber=1)

Anyway, on with the games, or so to speak.

After doing something quite unexpected, grinning inanely, I jumped down from the tree, and used my superior woodcraft skills to evade the elves.

"You'll never catch me!", I shouted, running down the garden path. "Hang on, garden path? Garden paths always lead to someone's house, which means...". Yes, then I ran straight into the house of Jeremy, the garden gnome.

Jeremy is a kindly old soul, so, as you may well be able to understand, he was quite distressed to find several young elf-maidens come running through his tidy little house, as he was enjoying a spot of fishing in the pond, sometime after having tea with me. After comically falling in the pond, he managed to explain that I had departed in quite an unexpected direction, so it would be rather difficult for them to catch up with me.

*walks out the back and stops, holding up her hand signaling the others to do the same* *Kell's eyes flash red and silver as she looks around picking up the trail and beginning to follow it * *Kell eyes go back to blue just as she finds the trail* "You're forgetting Craig, I'm a ranger!! And one heck of a tracker!! You can run, but you can't hide!!!"

*gestures with her hands and whispers to Nef in Elvish: "I'll veer a tiny bit to the right, you go around to the left and get behind him, do you think you can follow around that far from the trail? Or do you want to switch places with me and follow right beside it? Doesn't matter either way"*



OOC: if that confuses anyone, I'm a ranger, but not in the guild of rangers, so......yea, lmao

*jumps down from the tree* so I go to the left and behind him? I can do that. wait a min *sniffs for a minute* he turned this way after he got out

IC: Completely baffled as to how they managed to catch up with me, because as far as I'm aware, Men can run as fast as elves, but anyway. I continued, until I found a secret cave! This cave was secret, I only knew about it because my father once stumbled upon it. So, naturally, I hid in it. All those pesky elves had run past shrieking and yoeddling before I emerged, triumphant, to walk off home.

*Kellivara stopped as she lost the trail* now where did he....?

*Kellivara called out to the other elves to gather back at her position* "I'm sure you've all lost the trail as well, so I suggest we head back to the trail and begin to follow it again so......." she trailed of as she spotted something peculiar*

"Follow me..."

*Kellivara spotted a track right beside the old one...but this trail was fresh....and it was going the other way.........*

"He's gone back to his home!!! Follow the trail! Quick!" *she called as she began to race down the trail, but as it reached a cobblestone path she stopped* "ELG' CARESS!!!!!!!!" she screamed in drow. In elvish again, she said: "His trail disappears on the cobblestone".......does anyone know where he lives? If not........we could always torture it out of the gnome....*at the look on the other elves faces she adds: * "or not....we could ask around the town at least.........."

To #1 Legolas #1 we are trying to glue ears onto Craig, you can help us, help him, or leave.

Back to the chase: wait let me get down there *sniffs the ground then puts ear against it* I smell his track and hear his footsteps he's about 100 feet......that way *points down trail slightly to the left* lets go!

He get on a tree jumping tree by tree rapidly. Faster then he can run on the ground. He sees Craig on his east side. Not noticing the big gap, he falls, but is still hanging on.

"No worries! I'm here to save the day and to join in your quest to add elf ears to Craig! Now, what can I help with?"

Nef!! Legolas!! Don't get too close!! Just follow him home!! That way we'll know where he lives!!

"Ok, ill lay low till he gets home." Using his green hooded cloak he hides from Craig in the trees.

*jumps from the ground up to the tip of the tree higher than #1 Legolas #1, he is a bit bellow her* impressive? I will watch him and jump from tree to tree watching and waiting he willnot locate me.

BTW: we always speak in Elvish so craig you don't understand what we say!

"Still a couple of hours till we arrive at Craigs home,"Legolas to Nefmariel and Kellivara ,"You want some Lembas my dear friends?"

*Kell jumps up into a tree branch and goes from tree to tree through the branches just as fast as a horse can gallop*

wait up *leaps ahead of Kell* no thanks on the Lembas.

I already do see his house now shoosh for a min.

Little did they know, those just-a-bit-too-good-at-catching-me elves, that I'd decided not to go home, but I was infact leading them into a trap!

The pit had been dug by some hunters I was with last week, and was handily in the middle of the road. All that was required of me, was to cover it up. I did so, using grass and branches.

When I finished, I carried on down the road, surprisingly fast. After some time, I heard muffled cries, going something along the lines of "Argh! Who put this hole here? We're all stuck, how're we going to catch Craig now!?!"

I continued, grinning, with satisfaction, looking for toffees as I went.

"I must call upon my horse to get us out, should I?"

I will jump out and follow, if anyone else can jump help the others out *runs after him, yelling in elvish* "ah they got out" craig. * runs up behind him keeping pace*

Now that last one doesn't make any sense.:( :) Runs after craig, pelting him with stale lembas and yelling in Elvish " Ha ha, now we'll ear you!":D

OOC: in the last one we fell in a hole, I jumped out, and told anyone else who could get out to help others who couldn't and I ran after him

IC: *still ahead of Frodorocks* you'll never get away human!

*Incredibly confused because he always thought the idea of trap pits was so that they could not be jumped out of*

"Oh well, seems these elves are far superior to me in every way and they'll always think of some way to cunningly escape everything I think of, so, what's the point in me carrying on?", I thought, but then I had a brainwave! I decided to lose them.

So, I walked all the way to a river, and waded in. I then waded either upstream or downstream. "Ha!", I exclaimed, "They'll all go one way, or split up, as they don't know which way I've gone, making my life somewhat easier".

And so it happened, the elves reached the river.

I'll go downstream, who wants to go with me? We'll need some people to go upstream as well. Ha! That human will soon be found. He can't out wit a pack of elves.:D

*Mablung grabs Craig out from the stream.*

I know that group of elves and can't imagine what they're planning for you is any fun and will probably be done just because your human. Now come there are rapids just around the next bend that you can't get past on foot. So get in the boat.

*Pulls a boat from the shrubs then casts off downstream with Craig passing over the rapids easily and moving extremely quickly away from harm and earing*

*hopps on horse and starts to ride downstream, checking everywhere she could for a sign of him being down this way*

so Mab is helping Craig he must be eared too! we now know where they are up stream other wise the rapids would have him by now *blows horn* come on catch um!

Kicks Bill (horse) in the sides to make him go to a gallop towards the horn

*Hears the horn blow as they continue passing over the rapids from the opposite direction.*

I don't think they reckonened we have the boat the sounds are getting ****her away. Any ideas on what our next move should be Craig?

OOC: she got out by standing on my shoulders and THEN jumping, and then I jumped of someone else's shoulders and helped the rest of them out:D

IC: *stops and whistles for Sirree, then stands still til she hears Mablung's voice and shouts: "They're over there!!!!" as she swings up onto the mare and rides after them*

*Comes to some waterfalls and lands the boat then throws it over the edge when Craig and I are out. Then I throw a rope over the side after securing it to the only thing in a miles raidius it could be secured to a large rock then after we both scramble down we pull the rock over the ledge and run off.*

*Get on his horse Alsaft, Alsaft here's the horn and knows what it means* "Hurry Alsaft we must get him, while gallopingalong side the boat, Legolas takes his bow and shoots and arrow to make a whole and slow them down."

*as I head downstream i see them go over the waterfall*
"now how are we going to get them??"

[Kellivara]

*eyes boat suspiciously* "THAT BOAT WAS EMPTY!!! STAY UP THERE AND SEARCH!!! IT SHOULDN'T TAKE LONG TO FIND 'EM!!!" Kell called to the elves above the falls

*after a while of seaching i spot them*

"i see them!!! they are down there by the waterfall, but how did they get down there?? we need to find a way to get down there..... but how??"

[Kellivara]

*calls back* "I'm ALREADY down here!!! Sirree and I will go ahead and cross--you guys find a way to follow!!!!!"

*sees a hill he can go down to catch up with Kellivara goes galloping down hill* "Everybody come down this hill."

[Frodorocks]

I'll see you down there! Lhunsoroniel leaps from a cliff at the edge of the falls and gracefully dives into the water and swims to shore. She meets up with the rest of the group and races after the humans, while pulling another pair of elf ears out of the magical pockets she borrowed from Wonko the Sane.;) Her friend the vines started to weave themselves through the trees, blocking Craig and Mablung's way. :p ( I'm glad someone's helping Craig, I felt sorry for him.:D )

*He sees another human chopping down a tree get's him out of the way* "If we can push this tree down It will block there way then there will be no way to escape."

*rolls eyes at the *edit* sure of themselves *edit* pure-bred elves* "Rule number one: NEVER underestimate your opponent!! They are both particularly resourceful humans, and have any of you thought of the fact that if we completely bar the humans' way, it'll be just as hard for us elves to get by?" *whispers something Sirree in drow, and the already galloping mare almost doubled its pace, and Kellivara was soon almost out of site, and catching up with the humans on foot at an amazing pace*

"I'm coming! I'm coming!" Lossengondiel shouts as she races towards the group surrounding Craig and Mablung. "Sorry there I kinda got turned around back there but I'm ready now to finally stick some ears on people muwahaha"

*grins as she slows her horse to a walk and rides up to Craig and Mab and the rest of the elves come up behind them and on all sides, creating a loose, but ever so tightening circle*

*think to herself* "....These are crafty little humans, I just hope they don't decide to break through that gap in the circle in the next five seconds.....because after that it'll be to late....and from the looks in their eyes they've already seen it............."

[Anira the Elf]

A young Drow female named Liriel was watching from the bushes. at the look on the two humans faces and their locked, wide eyes on the elf ears she simply just had to laugh. "Who's their??" Kelli. says as she spins around to looks at the exact bush Lir was hiding behind.

[Nefmariel]

*whispers to Serrets to find a way up the cliff, Serrets leaves and about 5 mins later is at the top, I jump up* come on we gota find um before we loose um *sniffs around* this way *points to the left side of the river* come on!

[Lossengondiel]

*Lossengondiel catches up with Nefmariel and group* "There he is! Come on! We're gaining on him!"

[Nefmariel]

*gets on Serrets* Wanya Serrets Wanya!

[Kellivara]

*Kell concentrates on the presense behind the bush and grins when she realizes who it is* "Liriel?" she calls.

*Liriel stands up and waves*

*Kell calls to Lir* "I knew it was you! I could tell it was a female drow anyway, by your presence, and a full-drow at that. And you're the only full-drow I know, for Blade and I and both half-drow and half-elven. You're welcome to join us Lir."

*starts riding on Serrets really quick in order to makeup time.

Why make up time? They're almost right in front of us. (come on guys(humans), do something!) *Starts yelling, "come on Craig, make us some tree noises" in elvish.:)

*Stops suddenly and opens a trap door perfectly blended into the ground and throws Craig into it then follows. After that he closes the door and they go about 10 feet down a downward spiraling tunnel into the Earth.*

"This is my secret hideaway its been in the Rangers for generations in case of Orc attack it has a few special features we can use now."

*Pulls on a beam and caves in the entire passage they just came down.*

"There is one other entrance but it is very heavily trapped even if they can find it."

Being an elf (or a Drow), she could see the outline of the trap door as plane as the other elves could. " i say we follow them. Those ears sre just itching to be on someone very, very soon."

*opens up the trap door and jumps down*

OOC: *shakes head* we had them surrounded at one point, and they never said they escaped.......but oh well, let's just say they did....

IC: *when Lir hits the bottom where they caved it in Kell helps her back up* Aye, now they've gone, let's all spread out and then stand silent and still so we can hear them when they emerge!! or........can you pure-bred elves handle that? *snickers in Lir's direction, for she was probably the only one that got that*

ooc: It was Nef and Loss that said we were being chased again so I guess we escaped no fault of ours if your side screwed up. I guess we went through the gap.

*Stands and listens.* Hhhmmm.. How about some people go look for the other entrance and some people stay here and listen or something?

"i will go look for another entrance i will blow my horn if i find anything"

**on her horse,Bill, she rides away..... shes looking everywhere she can for a sign of th entrance...... no sign of it anywhere**

*rolls eyes* "It's a Ranger hideout, the second entrance wont be near here, and it won't be visible unless opened!!" *sighs and thinks to herself* You'd think the elves would be smart enough to figure it out for themselves.....and if they can't even stand in one place and wait for a few hours.......they'll never get the ears on these humans......and now that they're moving around and making noise of their own.....they won't as easily be able to hear the footsteps of the humans........and lord only knows how far ahead the humans will get when I leave the party.........oh well, I gues the chase will just become hopeless then......except that they still have ONE drow with them........I hope they'll let Lir lead them now.....they may not want to because she has no Elvish blood.......but if they want to catch these humans........they don't have a choice.....

*thinks: I am having serious doubts about this journey, its such a waste of time and Kell acts like she's better than us, maybe I should be on my way and leave *

*Turns to Craig.*

Lets stop with this waiting game we can make it back here if need be. We're about a mile away from the river so we have a good head start now.

*Opens a trap door with an extremely fast moving stream below it then takes a small canoe stashed against the wall then jumps into the boat and stream with Craig. The stream carries them out onto the main river in minutes then they paddle furiosly down it.*

listen *hears paddles in the distance* they've gone back to the river go!

[Kellivara]

*is already racing down the side of the river on Sirree's back when Nef calls for the rest to go to the river*

*Kell thinks to herself* Lir will have quite a time dealing with Nefmariel. ack! she's always trying to outdo everyone, and seemingly rather enjoys doing the opposite of what she is asked to do.........


*sigh* forget it *throws a portal in front of the boat so close that the humans can't avoid it* *the portal takes them 5 miles from the elves that are chasing them* now they have ample chance to outrun them all...............goodbye everyone........ Kell thinks to herself as she races away form the chase come what may they're on their own now.................. she thinks as she opens a portal back to her home in menzoberanzzan*

thinks: I'm getting really sick of Kell ditching me and saying stuff about me I think I'll quit, Craig and the humans don't even need this anymore I think I will quit and get going

that night: *starts a fire while everyone is asleep, throw in green powder and a green pool opens in the ground, I put out the fire and step into the portal and go 50 miles from the group*

*Pulls the boat up on the opposite shore and gets out.* They have about a half mile in either direction before they can cross I think lets go. *Takes off into the woods.

"ok lets go" *kicks bill in sides and follows Frodo

*gets Bill into a FULL SPEED GALLOP and goes after them*

*Begins setting some traps for the elves leisurely and doing it well thanking the portal Kell put them through for giving them the extra time.*

*thinks about that too* I think I see um *sees movement across the stream* try and jump or get across somehow or can we?

gets Bill to a halt, ges off and hinds him... goes over to stream with nef* "i am going to try and jump it."" *goes back and gets a running start, leaps across stream and barely makes it*

Lir catches up to them and sees that they need to get across. She quickly casts a portal to the other side( big ehough for the horses to fit too.:D ) They all quickly leap through and are on the pursut when...

*Ranger Traps! As the elves are riding two large trees spring up and they are caught in a net horses and all. Mablung snickers and goes off to ready the next one.*

"well now this is just great", "hey what about opening a portal to get out of here?"

good idea do it quick! *serrets fidgets*

Quick! Otherwise we'll have to cut ourselves out. I'll talk to the tree, maybe I can convince her to catch us when we fall. *starts to softly talk in a language forgotten by just about all of the people of Middle Earth.*

*opens a portal quickly big enough for the horses*

*tree catches us, lets us down* we must hurry!

*after i get down i make sure Bill is alright,he has just a little scratch on te leg but its not serious, then get on and wait for the rest*

hurry run! *runs quickly to catch up*

hold the ears on, they need to dry quick!

Use something more quick dry next time.*Grabs onto a hidden trap rope then trips it the tree flinging him off into the forest where he quickly takes off the ears before they dry and keeps running. Another trap is also triggered as a log swings down at the elves.*

look out! *the log is low enough so i jump over* dang this 10 second dry glue more like 10 minutes! get him!

[Mablung]

*I jump into a gulley into hard wilderness and undergrowth that a horse can't get through without slicing his legs severely though his leather boots protect him and continues running.*

[LegolasLuver]

"dern he got the ears off!!!" "what are we going to do, well have to leav the horses if we go in the gully"

[Frodorocks]

Oh well, there's more fun in the chase anyway.:D Just tell your horses to stay here and then we'll go after 'em. They're good elvish horses, they'll listen. *Jumps down into the gulley and climbs up on the other side.* OOC: Craig! Where are you!

*Rolls some rocks down the gulley at the climbing elves then runs again not waiting to see if they hit or not.*

*whispers to Serrets to lead the horses around the gully* look out rocks! *dodges* MAB! CRAIG!

*doges rocks* *follows behind frodo*

reaches the bottom "hurry we must persue!"

*catches a glimpse of Mab* HURRY!

*sees mab as well...* runs at a great speed to try and catch up...

*Takes out a rope panting and jumps over the edge of a cliff and hooks the rope on a branch on the way down then lowers himself down to the bottom and keeps running.*

I've been rather busy with school the last week. And I suspect for the next three weeks I'm only going to have time to post at the weekends, what with exams 'n all.

Currently, I'm very tired, so my participation this evening is going to be minimal, it's 20 past midnight. This is more of an announcement that I didn't become unconcious and got carried around by Mab ;)

IC: Um, carries on what he was doing before...

OOC: No, she just ripped her hand away, ripping some of her skin off, like what happens when you touch your tongue to something metal in the winter.:) IC: Trickssssyyyy Humansssesss!!!!!! Vvvveerrryyy tricksssssyyyyy, yyyyyessssss Precioussssss! *Lhunsoroniel quickly glued some un-pointy ears to her head, put on a disguise, and dressed like a human. Then she ran into the bushes, and then kept running straight till she was ahead of mab and craig. She hid in the bushes in front of them and got their attention. " Quick hide here!" thinking that she was a human coming to help them, they quickly ran over to the bush where Lhunsoroniel was hiding...*

*a tree suddenly reaches out and blocks the way of the elves, they realise that it did that only to get their attention as it gives them a message from Lhunsoroniel "she's got them behind that bush" *

*sneaks up slowley behind*

*Leaps out from behind the bush suprising the elves then grasps them all and glues their heads together and runs off quickly.*

Mab runs back in my direction, we both laugh manically, and go and hide again, in order to devise our next cunning plan. Which may somehow include a carrot.

good thing its the 10 minute glue *pulls head off and gets the glue off* lets go!

As the elves run they trip a trap and are drenched in carrots which are covered in the 2 second dry glue he stole turning them all into a big sticky ball of carrots.

Then the Wild Carrot Men of Carrotland came and started smirking at them whilst whistling Iron Maiden tracks. Then the Carrot Men walked off to continue hunting potatoes in the woods.

OOC: Don't be surprised if this is me gone till the weekend, school again, y'know, it sucks.

Sitting upon her trusted mare, Everiel looked down the rolling hill upon the scene unfolding before her. She narrowed her eyes and focused in. She could see carrots. She could hear her horse smacking her lips longingly at the orange vegetables. Smirking, Everiel gripped the handle of her Lothlorien bow and gave the mare a slight nudge with her heels, and on cue, the pair took off cantering down the green slopes towards the forest.

OOC: Of course we don't mind!:D IC: Lhunsoroniel quickly pulls out some nail polish remover, and coats the group with it. The carrots come easily off. Lhunsoroniel washes them off, feeds them to Everiel's horse, and runs after Mablung and Craig.

[Fading Evenstar]

Everiel smiles gratefully at Lhunsoroniel as she runs off and nudges her now happy horse forward into the forest after the Carrot Men. The horse stops and rears abruptly as a strange, earthly ground rumbling is heard. Everiel scans her surroundings and backs her horse up. Amongst the bushes are hiding wild potatoes. Everiel pulls out an arrow and aims her stealthy bow at the rolling taters. It whizzes and peirces one through the heart. It staggers and rolls, while the rest roll after. Everiel and her trusted mare continue deeper into the shaded wood.

[Frodorocks]

*Hacks at some potatos while running.*

I had a feeling they'd take that rout so I laid a trap * you here a crash* its only a chasm of 15 feet covered in grass! hehe lets go! and watch yourself.

*The Carrot men form a ladder of carrots which we scramble up then roll several large rocks and carrots down the path at the oncoming elves.*

[Nefmariel]

OFF THE PATH! * pushes everyone out of the way and jumps over the carrots* ooh thats it GET UM!

[Mablung]

*Comes to a river and finds no boats or anything he can use except a small log.*

Good thing I used to be a lumberjack

*Throws the log in the river then jumps onto it and begins backpedaling on it propelling himself down the river.*

*sees them going down river* run! *gains and is on the other side of them jumps onto there and tackles Mab into the water*

*Thinks that its a good thing glue won't adhere in the water. Then he wriggles free of her and clings to the log paddling away as quick as he can though she keeps gaining on him.*

dives in with nef and begins to go after mab

[Nefmariel]

*eats some powder so she can breathe water and gets fins and gets on the log* no where to go Mab!

*gets on the log as well on the other side of mab*

[Mablung]

*Scrambles on top of the log as it heads for some rapids then ties some rope to an arrow and fires it hitting a tree then jumps off the log and drags himself to shore with the rope as the log and elves go into the rapids.*

[Frodorocks]

*Rides the log through the rapids* " Yee ha, this is fun!" Then, right as the log is about to go over the high and dangerous falls, Lhunsoroniel and the other elves grab hold of a tree limb, swing in a loop, and land gracefully on the ground. The elves run after the humans and suddenly, out of the bushes leap the wild bananna women, who wrap their peels around the humans, tying them to trees.

*The Carrot Men come to the rescue then the Carrots and Bananas go off and live in peace and harmony.*

"Ok that was odd..."

*Mounts an exotic Rhubarb mount and takes off through the forest.*

(Thinks to herself, "This place keeps getting stranger and stranger.:rolleyes: :D ") Darn it! They got away! Continues to run after those pesky

yes I can't believe how fast they are compared to us. hmm anyway there is another thick river up ahead they'll either stop or have to try and cross the rapid river.

IC: who knows but the strangest part is there is also a waterfall

OOC: guys I am planning something at the waterfall so we have to go there ok. Mab and Craig you guys please get into the water because then I'm gonna do something but don't worry you guys!

*starts to swim over to the log and again tackes mab off you all are still on shore but as they fight Mab gets away and gets back to the log but I am tumbling down towards the waterfall in the rapids*

IC:*tries to tackle craig but he shakes me off so fall into the rapids (im still close to shore) so i swim back frantically so i dont get caught in the current*

IC: as she gets closer to the waterfall she tries to grab a branch but it just snaps off, she tries to get to shore...

*tries to go down and grab nef's hand but our hands are to wet and they jus slip*

getting closer to the waterfall she trys to swim but its in vain and with a last look at Lai she tumbles over the waterfall and falls 100 feet.

IC: tumbling down the water fall hearing Lai's yell she with a thud hits the bottom of the water fall but its broken but the lake, she slowly and knocked out drifts downstream

Mab looked over the edge of the falls and saw a figure moving down there. Satisfied she wasn't dead he took off into the forest once more.

*i lifts my head up thinking right i need to keep on them, suddenly my eyes begin to glow i back up then runs and leaps across the rapids to the other side and hides behind a tree to wait for mab and craig to get across*

IC: sees mab and jumps out and grabs him... i tackle him to the ground and hold him down with incredible strenghth that no one can beat*

as I drift further down stream I wake up for a moment only to be greeted by rapids and a 10 foot waterfall so I am knocked out again.

ooc:I meant moving in that twitching corpse sort of way.

*Cant throw Lai off so he starts to roll down a hill taking her with him and then they hit a large patch of rocks throwing them in opposite directions very painfully too.*

*before i hit the rocks i quickly and quietly say a spell, the rocks turn into cusions where i am landing so i am unharmed....*

*Craig sees his chance to escape, and starts to run.* "Hahaha, running away won't be so easy" *Tackles Craig and starts to glue pointy ears on* It had better dry fast!:) (thinks with sadness about her friend Nef, but somehow knows that it will be all right)

*since mab is knocked out from itting the rocks i run over and glue (using two second dry glue) and glue elf ears on... 1... 2.... ok they are stuck on yay!!!!!! :D

about two hours later about a mile down from the others camp she finally woke up slowly she staggered into the trees and flopped down and slept.

*i then sense danger... i stand up abruptly and scan the area... see a movement in the bushes and i duck down behimd a rock. it is a orc and it was heading towards mab. i think to myself, i cant let it take mab... im not that mean to let orcs have him.... i then draw out my bow very quietl and i let the arrow go...... it goes right in the chest, i then shoot another one and it goes right into the head*

*The next day as I wake up I realize how lucky I am to be alive and have all of my things I then set off up the river hoping to find the group soon*

*Quietly takes the tube of glue the elf had used to stick the ears on him then while shes busy with the orc clamps a pair of numan ears on over hers then holds them down for 3 seconds and removes his hands the ears having dried and stuck onto her fully*

Good idea! *Lhunsoroniel quickly takes a length of Lorien rope and ties Mab and Craig together. Wondering to herself "Now what?" she climbs up a tree and watches for more orcs.* What should we do now Lai?:)

*His ears fall off as well since he was in range of the spell he then gets his knife from his sleeve and cuts himself free and scrambles to the waterfall and jumps landing in a small alcove the rangers use then rolls a rock in front of the entrance so it can't be accessed that way.*

"great mab got away... lets go after him... bring craig with you and make sure he doesnt get loose."

*note to self: always check for knives and such before you tie anyone up** lol ;)

*Summons a blue cloud that picks Craig up and carries him after the running elves* The only good human is an unconsious(sp?:) ) one!:D When they get to the waterfall, Lhunsoroniel starts tapping around in the stone, looking for a week place. She locates one, and plants a seed over the top. She then sings to it in Elvish, urging it to grow fast and strong. It slowly starts to crack the rock...*

Still traveling upstream a she hears a group of orcs and quickly hides. They pass her but are heading upstream towards the group, I whisper: " Wrong way, go west" the orcs hear it and thinking its a Nazgul etc they go in the opposite direction as I sprint toward the group.

As they elves broke through the rock and entered the cavern a large spiked log swung right for them forcing them outside the entrance though the trap had been sprung and they could enter safely they could not help but wonder what other traps lay in the Ranger strong hold.

*jumps back from the log then enters carefully... i then use my great senses to predict for traps*

I keep heading upstream but too augsausted so I lay down for a quick rest.

*Looks around at the lava lamps, disco ball, and large furry green couch.*:rolleyes: Nice place.:D

As one of the elves touches the lava lamp the disco ball explodes sending shards of mirrored glass out towards them all.

*sees the glass and dives down pulling Lhunsoroniel down with me as i yell "WATCH OUT!!!!"**

*Ducks* What a mess! *Pausing to sweep up the glass, she then squirts the contents of the lava lamp at Mab, who slips in the goo*:p

*i then get a rope out and tie it around mabs feet and pull him to the ground..... "hurry het his hands and we have to remember to check for knives"

IC: I look up from hearing explosions of glass and yelling. I start running up limping slightly on my left leg and I come to a 20 foot wide river, not thinking about myself only my friends I jump in and try to cross.

"I heard something about orcs...someone want to fill me in? I don't like having my peace disturbed."

IC: oh we just fought orcs a while back but we havent fought/seen any lately.....

*Kicks them off then sticks his hands and legs into the pools of Lava Lamp goo which burns through the ropes. Then he peels a rug away and jumps down onto a lower level hitting a switch on the way down which triggers arrow traps in the room above firing them in ever direction. Then he seals the entrance he took and begins setting more traps when they come down the stairs.*

"Ahh!!!! this place is full of traps!!!! i have to say that he planed this out very well" *i say as i hit away some arrows*

My head goes under a few times but I make it across. I hear footsteps of a human so I hide, seeing its Mab I get out some rope and laso him. I take away his knives and start heading up towards the group, I then see Lai's head and I say "Need any help Lai?"

*i hear nefs voice but i think to myself... naw it couldnt b... but i turn around anyways*

"omg omg omg!!!!! nef..... yo... your alive???? i th.. thought u were dead!!?!?! omg!!!! its so great to see u again!!!!!"

Good to see you again Nef glad to know your still alive. Your rope skills need some work though theres a reason they bind people tighter after they lasso them.

*He thrusts his hands up since the rope was above his elbows then grabbed the knot loosened it then threw the rope off and bent down bring the rope around Nef's feet then pulled sweeping them out from under her. While she was down he runs up the a hallway off to the side and stands at the top when the Elves started running up it towards him he threw a switch causing a large boulder to go down the hall towards them blocking off the passage way's only entrance from the inside.*

I land on my bad leg and wince and cry out a bit "Yes but that fall hurt my left leg" and then I shout "THANKS MAB! NOT!" breathes heavily.

"Nothing I don't think, I think I hit my leg on a rock somwhere in the rapids. It'll be sore for a few days but not much, but we can talk tonight lets get Mab!" I get off and run best I can barly jumping over the boulder and pushing it out of the way.

*As the Elves make it over the boulder one accidently steps on a loose rock. When this happens lound clanking is heard and from the roof of the tunnel crossbows lower and fire off several volleys of arrows right where the Elves are standing. Then he makes it out the other end and caves in the exit at least 2 miles from any other exit.*

*ducks down to the floor* "Watch Out!!!!" *after the bows stop shooting i head up towards the exit..... great he closed it off... i think to myself*

We're trapped! aaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!* You know, he always forgets to save Craig.:rolleyes: ) Two miles down this hall is another opening, so if you guys don't have any other plans, I think that we should run down the hall, back track, and catch up with Mab. *summons a fluffy green cloud for Nef to sit on because of her leg* It's awesome that you're back! I can't believe it! Yay!:p :p :D We can run fast, we're elves. We'll catch up easily.:D

OOC: Ok, so I'm back again. I've only skimmed across the last few pages, so I may have missed some things, but it seems to me as if I'm unconcious, plus I have elf ears. So...

IC: *Wakes up in a strange place*. I look around me, everything seems odd, so I whistle. My flying potato named Moxie comes, and pulls me away to safety before falling down into a convieniently placed deep fat fryer. The ears were stuck well, but with a bit of painful yanking the come off. So, I go off in search of Mab...

"Thanks for the lift Lhun" I say sitting on the cloud "come on I have ridden these before lets go" I say zooming off down the tunnel.

*walks to what appears to be a solid wall, places hand against wall*

"Annon edhellen, edro hi ammen! Fennas nogothrim, lasto beth lammen!"

The wall slides open, revealing a narrow passageway that curves into darkness. I begin running lightly down the passage, expecting the others to follow me.

"Last one in, touch the left wall!" I call over my shoulder.

*As they go down the path they find it blocked by another cave in hundreds of meters before its end having been blocked already (ooc: this is an ancient RANGER stronghold don't forget so I really don't think you lived here or that theres anything the builders didnt know about since we built it :rolleyes: and also don't forget Humans run just as fast as Elves.) A giant boulder then drops down from the ceiling and starts rolling chasing them all back to where they were before.*

yeah but thats a stronghold the Rangers built the main section too so I know all of its entrances and exits. They either have to leave 2 miles away from we are or keep looking but they won't find anything.

I continue running toward the seemingly blocked exit, on watch for more traps set by Mab. Instead of attempting to use the exit, however, I go around the side of the pile. My hands search the wall, find a hidden latch, and a small section of the wall opens. They look out of the opening over the hills...

"Well, here we are."
