What is this Home?

Everyone keeps on talking about a HOME book... ? Ive never heard of it! are u abreviating somehting?

They are abbreviating History of middle-earth. It is a set of books (correct me here) in 12 volumes. I havent read them but I plan on doing so.:)

Wow... 12... I have the LOst Tales, Volumes I and II. Are those a part of HOME?

Exactly. The History Of Middle Earth is a set of twelve books that Christopher Tolkien edited together from his father's writings and notes. The HOME includes the two volume Book Of Lost Tales, the two volume Later Quenta Silmarillion and the four volume History Of The Lord Of The Rings, which is the part of HOME that I'm the most fond of.
