Niniel

Today is my birthday, I'm turning 23 now. Somehow birthdays always me me kind of sad; I always feel I haven't done anything worth remembering in the past year. Like now: I'm still a student, like I was four years ago, and I'm still not much better in the things that I like to do (archery, dancing, singing), although I have practiced for several years, and I still haven't found a boyfriend :( I feel like I'm getting really old now, and soon my chance of doing all these things will be over. Stupid isn't it??? Do any of you have such feelings on your birthday, or do you just have big fun?

Happy birthday Niniel! I often feel like that on my birthday, but it's never true. And you're only 23, so you're in the best part of your life right now.
It's my birthday on Wednesday and, after being really scared last year on my 19th birthday that I was getting old (stupid isn't it!), I'm looking forward to this one. This last year has been a bit like a rollercoaster, but I feel like I've actually grown up this year. So roll on being 20!! :)

Erm... Do I feel like that? erm... perhaps...
C'mon Niniel! Yes, that's what crosses your mind and lots of other peoples', but if you look behind, you'll see many little things to which you found a solution, and bit by bit, you have improved.
Up, up, UP!!! Doesn't seem like this, but we have a lot of time ahead. :) ;)

Happy birthday Legolam! I felt as if 20 was really the end of my youth... but after all you're only as old as you feel. I feel better now, and am looking forward to everything I'll be doing in the coming year!

I wish you a happy birthday, Niniel, and that you always remember the good times over the bad times... :)
And you're never alone with your sorrows...
For the birthdays, I can't even remember when I had a real party, it must have been when I was a child (I'll get twenty in march), and still I'm happy... ;)

Wow! Happy Birthday Niniel, Legolam and Elgee!
So many birthdays...not enough time to have a proper birthday celebration. And although I won't be here for many of them....I will be sending my best wishes from a distance in hopes that they will be the best birthday's ever!!!!

Ah, 23. The number of winters that will have passed for me coming June. I remember being 19, back in the old days, when young people still respected anciennity and looked up to their elders. Christmas? Bah, humbug!...
What? Oh, I'm sorry, I got a little carried away there. Happy birthday to all aging Tweens!

OMG, we've got a Guild Granny! People who are 25 tend to have a job, a life, responsibilities and major boring parties. I'm so glad that's all 2 more years away from me.:D

Hey, has anyone noticed it's Aule's birthday tomorrow (Tuesday - actually in Oz it's probably today)? Can anyone think of a particularly nasty practical joke to play on him now he's no longer a teenager? :D <-- evil grin
Niniel
10-27-2003, 06:25 PM
I noticed... maybe we can all spam his mailbox with 100 mails saying 'happy b-day'? Though that won't be nasty enough by far.;)

In any joke on Aule, you can count me in!
If you're planning to play a joke on me, the smart thing to do would be to plan it in private ;)

How does it feel being halfway to 40? Feel old yet?
Ah well- I'll always have the satisfaction of knowing that I'm younger than you ;) Hannah the 'Old Bag' ;)

Ho ho, so it's like that, is it?!?!?!
I'm quite happy in the knowledge that I'm older, wiser and more mature (hee hee, maybe not!) and, in a couple of months, will legally be able to drink in America :D
If anyone's in the vicinity of Edinburgh around the 8th of January, there's going to be the mother of all parties!
DGoeij

8th of January, Edinburgh? At the far end of my probability curve.:D
And who's that little brat with the big mouth?:p
I don't know....
I think he was Thol. Let's get him ;)
Hannah: Why would you want to drink in America? ;) They drink beer-water over there :p. And the probability of me being in Scotland on the 6th of January would be in negative values (if that were possible :D )
btw, I just saw something in the news about a civil war in Bolivia. Looks like you got out of there just in time.:)

You're all a bunch of fogies, i think im the only teenager left now :D
Ya'll a bunch of bloody windbags so pipe down and let the youngin's run wide :D

Watch it, Thol, Aule's probably getting quite touchy about his age right now!!
I don't know why I want to drink in America, it's not like I'm even planning on going out there. But it's the only good thing about getting one year older!
And about Bolivia - it was all sort of kicking off when I was still there, and the later teams had a hard time getting up to the airport, but it seems to have died down in the last week since they ousted the old president. We saw a couple of marches, but nothing serious. One team saw tear gas being shot into their hotel courtyard!

Teargas is the best way to disperse a bunch of drunken students.;)

Thanks Snaga! Maybe that's what made me ill when I was celebrating Aule's birthday on Friday ;)

So does that make you a Sagitarius or Capricorn?

Sagittarius, I believe. Why do you ask?

Astrology has always fascinated me. (I am the star queen afterall ;) )
And although I don't think that astrology can really predict the future, I do believe that when you are born effects who you are and can have an effect on one's temperment and personality.

Ah, I understand. It was just something for your curiosity then. Have you made any findings over the years?
