There is a new evil in Middle-Earth. Allatar and Pallondo, the Blue Istari that arrived here long ago, have started cults in the land's of Rhun and Harad. They have used a spell they created together with their powers to mass huge armies of men that obey without question, though if they weren't under the spell they would not serve them, for they owe and allegiance to Gondor. Allatar and Pallondo were also taught by Sauron the art of Ring-making, though very little about it. And while their rings are no where near as great as Sauron's they do posess some strength and powers. I am sending 2 groups of Elves and elf-like creatures to infiltrate their fortresses, 1 group will go the Far East, and the other to the Far South. You must break their powers, for if you break their powers, then you break the spell and the armies that they have massed.
Each army is 50 thousand strong so far, the West will not stand a chance against them. If you should fail, then all will be lost.
The RP takes place fairly early in the fourth age, and originally we had one thread, but now it is two threads ("Harad" and "Rhun") to make things less confusing. If you take a look at some of the "Guild of Elves:Rivendell" thread you can get a good idea of what's going on, and then look at the "Harad" and "Rhun" threads, but many changes have been made, members have joined/left, you get the idea. Here's a list of major events that have happened in the RP:
1. We set out from Rivendell as one company.
2. Ramagna died in battle with orcs, Phenix then joined us.
3. The company split into 2 groups at the Gates of Moria, those going East went through the mines, those going South are taking the Gap of Rohan.
4. Glorfindel recieves a almost deadly wound in Moria.
I'll keep everyone posted on anything else, people from the Harad thread if anything big happens there post it here for any that do not wish to read big long threads (which is everyone I think;) )
