Actually its the only avatar site of LOTR that I know...

You can use any graphic that fits the 64x64 pixel maximum. I went into Word Paint, set the picture size at 64x64 and drew a star, then saved it as jpeg (smaller filesize than bitmap).

I make mine by getting a picture cutting out the part I want and then making them 64X64.

Does anyone know more LOTR avatar sites? I was wondering if thre are any, since I've looked berfore and have not found any.

but how do you know if its 64x64?

Well that bdepends on the program yor useing, I use Adobe Photoshop.
I have to go to "Image", then "Image size" after you've cut out the part of the picture you want.
