it has come to my attention that out of the 5 rp guilds HI is the most up tight.:(
I mean we are all too organized and professional...whereas other guilds are free from bonds, people post as they will and they get their business done.
So what do members think should be done to make HI seem less strict and intimidating...because there is no point in having a guild if your members are not happy.:)

Anamatar, I do not think that our guild is uptight... I just think that it is the most serious of the RP guilds. I don't think we need to worry about this. I think the serious aspect is good because RPing is actually a serious business.
However, like Azog suggested and you brought up, I think that introducing the library idea into the guild would be a good idea. It would be a place for IC discussion where people can feel less serious for a while, though it would still be "serious."

Azog, you are welcome to set up the Library whenever you wish.:)

Alright, I have a suggestion. Assuming that the new training system passes, we will need a new way to let the students sign up for classes. I suggest that we have a registration thread set up with all the classes that can be taken (i.e. sword fighting, horseback riding, archery, axe throwing, diplomat skills, healing Tolkien-like, magic Tolkien-like, etc) written out for all to see. The students can then pick which classes they wish to take and can sign up for those classes. Someone will keep track of who signs up for what. I am willing to be that someone. :p Let me know what you think.

yes sounds good...but we should restrict registration to pms-that way some posts wont be missed and it just all around might be easier. So after people choose which classes they want they would pm anyone in the GC. and we would pm Nenya.
But how many electives would the members get?

As many as they want. See here for the final agreement on electives: http://www.thetolkienforum.com/showthread.php?s=&postid=220526#post220526
