OOC: A few rules:

All posts must be in character. You are playing your role playing character in this setting. There are no root beers, vibrating chairs, cokes, ice creams, and the such because this is Middle Earth. All posts must be an rp post. If it is spam, thread is gone.

You may post of either your rp characters day or your own day THROUGH your rp character.:)

IC:

On the peak of the highest mountain of the misty mountains a cave is delved. It is dug to be as likeness of Menegroth, of Doriath long ago. All Elves come there when they feel bored or need to relax...or just meet new friends. Always there is song and music here. Always there is merry making. Written in the Sindarin tongue on a sign outside the cave is:

"come, all are welcome. The Elves of old are told here and the Elves of future behold here!"

OOC:

A few more rules. this is not a bar and will not be treated as such. I get quite annoyed when I see actions in ** (*walks to the window*). So if you are to post here please put quotes in quotation marks ("") and actions as a third person ( anamatar walked to the window).

Please do not make pointless posts. Try to start a conversation...with longer posts then "How are you" "I am fine" "I am fine too"

A noble, well travelled and well known elf enters the caves. After a long time travelling he simply wishs to relax and meet up with his old friends, and so he came to the halls he had once heard of where all could gather and relieve their stresses.

"Ah, Anamatar," he said. "How are you? I have not seen you on my travels for a great deal of time. Do you know if my good friends Nefmariel and Neisa (Aragorn Rocks) have been through here recently?"

Anamatar IV
01-20-2003, 01:22 AM
Anamatar pulled up a simple chair and looked at Isal.

"Ah, I am sorry," he said, "for I do not keep track of all who come through here. But I will start a list of names if you wish;)" Anamatar and Isal shared a merry laugh.

"So tell me, what has gone on in your life?"

lossenandunewen enters the hall, a look of utter contentment on her face.

"What nice music! I'm lossenandunewen, i'm rather new to this area, and you are?"

(I'm no good at this rp stuff, but oh well, i'll get better)

OOC:

I am sensing this place isn't the most popular in the world

BTW-lossen, that was a great post if short.:)

Carantalath
01-24-2003, 12:42 AM
A beautiful elf entered. She had long dark hair and wore a tiara upon her head. She was Carantalath, the elf princess. "Hello, you don't look familiar. I am Carantalath," she said to lossenandunewen. "After all my traveling, it is nice to relax in such a nice location. I heard you comment on the music and I like it too. Do you also like stories and poems?"

(I'm also not very good at RPing, but I hope to get better. Any suggestions would be helpful, just PM me.)

Lasgalen
01-24-2003, 05:31 AM
Lasgalen walks in, looks around.

"I have been wandering for many days and am weary. May I stay here and rest awhile?"

Eöl
01-24-2003, 06:00 AM
Celebrien walks in from one of the back rooms of the Hall and greets the newcomer "You may stay as long as you like, Master Elf, and I'm sure we will be the better for your company. Hopefully you will be refreshed when you leave these halls. Have you any good tales to tell?" he finished.

Lasgalen
01-24-2003, 06:33 AM
"Thank you for your welcome. I am called Lasgalen. My travels have thus far been uneventful and do not make good tales. What of yourself?"

lossenandunewen
01-24-2003, 05:03 PM
"I love a good poem and tale." Lossenandunewen answered Carantalath. "I'd love to hear a good tale too!"

Lossenandunewen then tied her flame red hair in a neat long braid, and prepared to be entertained by the tales of traveling strangers

(I like this post. :D )

Lasgalen
01-24-2003, 06:26 PM
"If you insist on a tale, I will attempt to make it entertaining."

Lasgalen compliments Lossenandunewen's hair, than proceeds to tell of the various places he has been and the some of the more intriguing people he has meet during his travels.

lossenandunewen
01-24-2003, 09:45 PM
lossenandunewen sits and listens intently to Lasgalen's story.

"That was wonderful! you are indeed lucky to have seen so many wonderful things, and met so many wonderful people! I have not been out of Mirkwood much, and i fear all i ever will meet are elves. how i would love to meet a dwarf, or a man. Or anything unlike that which i'm accustomed to!"

Anamatar IV
01-24-2003, 09:55 PM
Anamatar grinned from his position beside the fountain.

"May I be the first man you meet?" he said. "I am Anamatar. To whom would I owe the honor of this meeting? And may I offer her a draught from the fountain?"

lossenandunewen
01-24-2003, 11:10 PM
"Well this is a man. I'm Lossenandunewen, i come from Mirkwood. I was going to journey here through the villages but i couldn't tear myself away from the trees." She smiled. "Have you ever been near the forests? what do you think of them, are they not the most glorious things ever seen?" Lossenandunewen's grey eyes twinkled. The remembrance of the trees always brought about excited thoughts to her mind.

"I thought i could use a good change, see some new things. But it's so hard to just leave what you love most behind, and many nights i relaxed in the trees. But i find this hall to be very comforting, perhaps i've found another place that can make me feel like the trees do"

01-25-2003, 09:30 PM
An elf walks in with a black cloack. She looks around unknown of the surroundings, as it is her first time here.

"Greetings." she says bowing her head. "My name is Tárakaliel, or May. I come from the forests of Mirkwood. I search for rest after a long journey from Gondor."

lossenandunewen
01-25-2003, 09:55 PM
"Welcome May! Mirkwood aswell i see, the most beautiful forest ever known to any eyes. This is indeed a great place to come and rest, Anamatar has made it indeed a place that welcomes all who are weary from travel. Help yourself to some refreshments, and settle with the music."

Lossenandunewen took May over to the food store, and then brought her some of the draught from the fountain. They sat down to continue hearing the tales of each members journey

Bethelarien
01-26-2003, 02:14 AM
In walks Bethelarien Undomiel, daughter of Elrond. She is in the likeness of Luthien, much like her sister Arwen.

"I heard that Isal was here. Where is he? I have news for him from my father."

Lasgalen
01-26-2003, 05:01 AM
"Tárakaliel I, too, am from Mirkwood. What a coincidence all of us meeting here like this. Have you traveled very long?"

WarriorMay
01-26-2003, 07:03 AM
"I have travled around this world for a long time." she says with a smile. "I haven't been to Mirkwood ever since I left. It is good to see elves from the same place. Tell me, how are things there?"

lossenandunewen
01-26-2003, 08:35 PM
"when i left some years ago it was still the most breath-taking, tranquil site i've ever seen. I've not seen much that impressed me more"

WarriorMay
01-26-2003, 08:41 PM
"Those lands have always been so beautiful. I wish to return to them soon." she says smiling.

"Tell me, do you have any tales to tell?"

Isal Celebalda
01-26-2003, 10:06 PM
Standing up sharply, Isal called out. "Bethelarien, my friend! You are here once again" Embracing her, he guided her over to a group of chairs in one of the many corners of the Hall so that the two could discuss the message in peace.

OOC: Do I actually know you from elsewhere on this guild/forum or did we just create this character background? I lose track of people, so no offence if we have met before.

Earendil
01-27-2003, 08:39 PM
Then came in at the entrance of the hall there was a beautiful elf with a long dark green cloak. she took down her hood and it was Earendil with her long dark hair and bright blue eyes..."greetings i come here to rest from my long travels...i hope that i may join you...for my journey has been most tiring..."

Emowyn
01-27-2003, 08:47 PM
A hooded stranger, dressed in the garb of those in LothLorien, entered the cave hall. The being gentally pulled back the hood and elagantly shook free the long mass of braided hair. It showered down the stranger's back, in cascades of golden light. An elf it was, of Silvan origin. But no normal elf. This was Émowyn of Mirthdor in the East, so named Elesselde, the elf-child of Mirkwood. Alone, this elven lady sat, still cloaked, The sword Athril on her belt and the Bow Lothendil at her side.
For a while Émowyn spoke to no one, for it was not the custom of a Ranger to do so. Instead, this elven maid sang, to herself, a song of sadness which told of darkness and loss.

Lasgalen
01-28-2003, 07:48 AM
To Earendil: "Welcome fair lady. Would you care the share some stories of your long travels? I would be most interested in hearing your tale."

Bethelarien
01-29-2003, 07:14 PM
Bethelarien, to Isal, both of whom are still in the corner.

"It is good to see you again, Isal! My father sends his greetings. He wonders how long it will be before you return to Rivendell, as it has been many years since we were learning the art of healing together."

OOC: No, we just made this up. Actually, you did, but it was a great idea.

Isal Celebalda
01-29-2003, 07:47 PM
"I do not know when I will be able to return... But I am glad to hear from him. If you are to be returning soon, please sent my regards. However, I see it in your eyes that you [i]won't[/] be returning for at least as long as me."

Isal, sighing, said to her "It can indeed be hard, wandering for so long. But it brings joy to my heart to see you again after so many years. I thank you for coming." With that, he planted a kiss upon her brow.

Emowyn
01-29-2003, 09:17 PM
The elf looked around, survaying the many diffrent elves which dwelt within both the light and shadowed areas of the hall. She called over for some soup and bread before sitting once again in her lulled place alone.

WarriorMay
01-30-2003, 12:48 AM
May looks at the elf, alone in the corner. She raises and walks over.

"Greetings. My name is Tárakaliel of Mirkwood." she bows her head. "And you might be?"

Bethelarien
01-30-2003, 03:06 PM
"You have spoken truly, Isal. I will not be able to return to Rivendell for some time, though my father does not like it. However, if I see him before you do, I will be sure to convey your message to him." She pauses for a moment.

"And ours is indeed a joyful reunion," she says, as a smile breaks on her lovely face.

Isal Celebalda
01-30-2003, 06:03 PM
"You know, Arwen doesn't come close to you... You really do look amazing! Maybe it's just the light, but..." as he trailed off into thought, Isal sighed to himself. "It really was far too long for us to have been apart."

Bethelarien
01-30-2003, 06:58 PM
Bethelarien smiles at Isal's compliment, though the reminder of her sister saddens her.

"And you are far more handsome than I remember you being. Elen sila lumenn' omentielvo. Hopefully we will never be apart for this long again."

Emowyn
01-30-2003, 07:44 PM
The ranger looked up at her fellow elf and smiled, "Good Morrow Tárakaliel of Mirkwood, it seems we are of the same kith and kin. As for my own title, I am Émowyn Ashstone daughter of the late Lord Émbyth and heir of Mirthdor, also named the Elesselde of Mirkwood in the West." She paused for a while, her face soft and comforting, but her dark eyes pondering upon somthing else, "It has been many years since I have talked with one from the woods of my home country. Tell me, Tárakaliel, how is the King Thranduil of Mirkwood?"

WarriorMay
01-30-2003, 08:32 PM
"I wouldn't be able to tell you." she says taking a seat. "I have not been to Mirkwood for many years, I was hoping you would be able to tell me."

She smiles and says, "Where is it that you have traveled from?"

Lasgalen
01-30-2003, 08:35 PM
Lasgalen walks over to Emowyn.

"I sense you are from Mirkwood, yet you wear the garb of one from Lorien. May I ask why the sad song?"

Emowyn
01-30-2003, 08:53 PM
"Indeed you may ask, friend. In Mirkwood I was raised, under the protection of King Thranduil, but when the time came, it was to LothLorien I rode with my brother Emoduil. I wear this garb as a memory of the golden trees of the fair land where the Lady Galadriel dwells. My song is filled with sorrow for my own heart sing true of it. I have seen and lost many a kith throughout my years, and have wittnessed both darkness and light though not a balance of either. In return to your question, Tárakaliel, I ride to Rohan, the land of the Horse Lords where I once more seek the company of my sibling, Emoduil and it is Rivendell from whence I came, but I have crossed many lands since then."

Emowyn
01-30-2003, 09:00 PM
The Lady Ranger paused once more to take heed of the conversation, but when her eyeline returned to Tárakaliel's, it was filled with dissapointment. "It is a great pity that you too have not resided in the halls of Mirkwood for many years, but that is not a matter of sorrow, for we both shall return some day to our kin-home, whether it be soon I cannot say, but hope remains for us still." She turned to both of her elf compainions, brushing her regal hair from acorss her shoulder where it fell like burnished gold upon her back. "Much has been spoken about myself, but what of thee? surely you both have tales to tell? have you not? or does a ranger have to proceed in providing entertainment?"

lossenandunewen
01-30-2003, 10:14 PM
lossenandunewen watched Bethelarien and Isal with a smile, her grey eyes lost in the memory of her own mate whom she lost recently to the sea. Lossenandunewen suddenly realized she was staring and turned to the opening of the hall, dreaming and wishing of Lossgenarin, her lost king and owner of her soul and heart.

"Have any other travellers left loved ones behind on their random quests?" She asked, and let loose her burning red hair. Hopefully she waited for some inspiration that her Elf, Lossgenarin, would return one day.

Isal Celebalda
01-30-2003, 10:27 PM
Looking at Bethelarian and grinning, he whisper in her ear "I just noticed Lossen staring at us... I wonder why?" Grinning and blushing slightly, he put his ear to Bethelarian's mouth to hear her reply.

Bethelarien
01-31-2003, 03:09 PM
Bethelarien, grinning back, whispers "I don't know...maybe she's reading something into our little conversation?" Still, Bethelarien is blushing furiously. She turns and shoots a questioning glance at Lossen.

Emowyn
01-31-2003, 08:18 PM
Emowyn sat again in silcence, watching and waiting for her two compainions to speak.
"Obviously I was mistaken. It seems the elves of Mirkwood have little to speak....Unless I am indeed wrong?"

Lasgalen
01-31-2003, 10:11 PM
"Forgive my silence. I was allowing one of you ladies first opportunity to speak. If you wish a tale, than I will tell one."

Lasgalen repeats the tale he told Lossenandunewen with a few flourishes added for good measure.

WarriorMay
02-01-2003, 08:34 AM
Tárakaliel smiled and said, "I too was raised in Mirkwood, by a lone traveler. I do not know of family, for I was found alone in the forests. I travel all around Middle earth, for how many years, I could not say. I have lost track."

Emowyn
02-01-2003, 01:30 PM
Emowyn sat back when the elf was compleated, "It seems you have indeed had much toil though your years Master Elf. I mayself have not encountered on many quests but have devoted the latter part of my time to reading and learning the ways and customs of both Men and Elf. I have, for a good part of this age, travelled as a Ranger in these lands, many of which you have spoken Lasgalen."

lossenandunewen
02-01-2003, 05:44 PM
"well then we are almost the same, i've had many journeys, but not much i could name as a quest or a test of virtue. I've seen naught in my long walks among the trees, other then lost orcs now and then at night, but i do not interfere, should they be alone, they will not survive the barriers given to certain lands."

WarriorMay
02-01-2003, 09:21 PM
"I have encountered may orcs in my journey. I have fought many battles. Soon I wish to rest in my home lands." she sighs. "Then again, I enjoy it."

Emowyn
02-01-2003, 09:33 PM
The elven ranger smiled calmly at Tarakaliel and nodded once again, "and indeed so shall I, although like yourself, it is for riding and proecting these lands where my heart lies true. Maybe one day I shall settle down back within the halls of Mirkwood for some years, but I fear that I shall not be there within the fair trees for long, and depart to the far West and the blessed releam where my mother, Rhiwyn now dwells."

WarriorMay
02-02-2003, 09:23 PM
"When I do return to Mirkwood. I do not plan on staying long. I just can't cope with life like that. Staying at home, and...well...doing whatever other elves do. Whatever that may be." she says suddenly thinking about what her life would've been like if she never set foot away from Mirkwood.

Emowyn
02-03-2003, 08:03 PM
"Then speak not of that land, for my heart still greves at having to part with it!" She took a sip of her Limpe (Elvish drink) and settled down once again.

WarriorMay
02-04-2003, 12:57 AM
"What do you plan on doing after resting here?" she says shifting around in her seat.

Tárakaliel felt much more comfortable now, having met a very friendly elf, she really hoped that she wouldn't be leaving too soon.

lossenandunewen
02-04-2003, 01:01 AM
Lossenandunewen stood up, brushed off her garb, and walked to the opening of the hall. There she thought about life, about the lonliness she's been accustomed to, and the same lonliness she felt here in the hall itself.

"Shall I never find a place where I am welcolme? The outcast elf with the red hair. The elf always ignored by others."

She turned back to the company in the hall, and sighed.

Emowyn
02-04-2003, 07:58 PM
Relaxing alittle more, the ranger's hand left the hilt of Athril and sat back into the seat. She shrugged slightly, "To Rohan I shall ride, upon Alvealoth, The star-like horse. Yet my journey is a lonely one, for there is no company till I meet with my brother, Emoduil in the land of the horse lords." She sighed again. Even the thought of the brother did not hold much hope that should spend much time in his company. she continued, "From Rohan it is to Bhar, the lands of the woodland elves where I shall ride, for I long to see the people of the Silvan kin once more. Have you ever ridden through the open plains of Bhar? Watching the graceful kin of woods and light attend to their silver lands?"

Bethelarien
02-04-2003, 08:35 PM
Bethelarien, seeing than Lossen had not seen her glance, turned her attention back to Isal. For the second time, she realized how much more handsome he had gotten. Perhaps Lossen hadn't been so far off after all...

Emowyn
02-04-2003, 10:27 PM
She took another sip of her drink and brushed her hair from her pale face. She knew she could not dwell in this cavern forever, soon it would be time for her to set off on her journey once more, but maybe she could have one more nights rest...just one?

Earendil
02-05-2003, 03:45 AM
"mirkwood must be nice now a days...i have not been able to visit in so long...soon i will have to return to my long journey and return to those adventerous days in which i love..." and she pulled out her sword adn went o near the entrance to practice...

WarriorMay
02-05-2003, 03:46 AM
She let out a sigh and said, "You at least have some place to go and a plan. As for myself, I plan as I go, it may not be the best but what can I say. I'm not the planning type of elf."

She took a sip from her drink. These days would be long.

Emowyn
02-05-2003, 08:04 AM
"Then come with me Lady of Mirkwood! Ride with me to Rohan, the together we shall set out to Bhar and the true home of our woodland kin!"

Isal Celebalda
02-05-2003, 08:59 AM
As Bethalarian looked back at him from Lossen, Isal noticed something in her eyes had changed. Suddenly, he felt a great love for her, something he had not felt since their days in Rivendell as children. "Bethalarian," he said, "I..."

As he trailed off he looked at her hopelessly, but his true meaning was communicated, he knew, by the looks in their eyes.

Bethelarien
02-05-2003, 02:36 PM
As Bethelarien gazed into Isal's eyes, she knew what he meant to say. She knew just as well that it did not need to be said, for both knew the other's heart.

"I know, Isal."

WarriorMay
02-06-2003, 01:34 AM
Tárakaliel let out a smile said, "I will go! I haven't traveled with someone else in a long time."

She stretched her arms, it felt good to know that she wouldn't be traveling alone after a good rest.

Lasgalen
02-06-2003, 02:05 AM
"I have thoroughly enjoyed your company. I now feel rested and refreshed. It is time for me to ramble on. Perhaps I shall pass this way again some time in the near future."

Emowyn
02-06-2003, 08:48 AM
Emowyn smiled broarldy, "Then so be it, we shall set of after the dawn of tomorrow and ride south together." Deep down, she felt a deep relief that she wouldn't be alone on her travels anymore.

02-08-2003, 06:28 PM
*A lone Elf walks into the cave and looks around. He sees many activities going on. Realizing he is alone for the time being, Jesse sits down on the ground and lets out a loud sigh. He's looking for information on his former tutor. The Elder's name he must find. Why did you have to die, Elder? What good did it do you to abandon your adopted son? Now you leave me no choice but to find out who you really were and then my questions will be answered, the Elf thinks to himself with a frown. Indeed, the Elder was like a father to Jesse. The Elder once told him that this was the place to find information.

All his life, Jesse was kept under the protection of an Elf whom he called "The Elder." The Elf never showed his face and always spoke in riddles. Jesse remembered how the Elder found him. He was a baby then. The Elder found him lying on the ground in the freezing rain. Realizing that the baby could be brought up to be good, the Elder adopted him as his son under the Elvish laws. Suddenly, overnight, the Elder died. His death was a mystery to Jesse. Jesse looked around for someone an Elf to talk to about his situation. He must find the answers to his most puzzling question....*

I will seek aplace to stay for the night and return here bfore first light." She bowed her head to Tárakaliel, "Tenna' tul're san'. Quel esta Tárakaliel, Namaarie." (Until tomorow then. Rest well Tarakaliel, Farewell.)

*Jesse looks around for hopes that someone would come and talk to him. He had been on his own long enough. It was time for a friend or companion. He wanted to also go on a journey with some group. The Elf was good with the bow and arrow and excellent with the sword. Plus the Elder taught him a bit of magic. That would come in handy. Jesse scanned the room for any sign of someone coming towards him, the newcomer. When none could be found, he began to meditate.....*

"I am a wanderer in search of the truth behind my tutor. He lived in Rivvendel. He never showed his face and he always spoke in riddles. I call him The Elder. Now he's dead and I am looking for his real name. Plus I want to on a quest soon. They call me Jesse the Loner."*

"This person always spoke in riddles. He had brown hair and was a short being. The Elder possessed magic and often taught me how to cast spells. My guess was he was a wizard. What I don't understand is why a wizard would be in Rivvendel...? Tell me, are you going on a quest soon? If so, may I accompany you? Anyways, this Elf (whom I called The Elder) recently died due to unknown causes. It wasn't old age or sickness or poison. It's really weird......"*

OOC: According to the 1967 copy of FotR (which was the first edition released), in the map behind the book, Rivendel is spelled Rivvendel. The map is the replica of the one Bilbo Baggins drew. So I believe Rivendell is spelled Rivvendel.

IC: After hearing of The Elder, Tárakaliel tired to remember if she has ever met him. "In all my years of traveling to Rivendell and around, which isn't very much, I haven't heard of this Elder you speak of. I am very sorry to hear about his death."

As for his question in quests, the only traveling she would be doing was going to Rohan with Emowyn, and she did not know whether to invite him.

*Jesse looks at WarriorMay and nods his head. He understands that no one has heard of the Elder. Most of the residents of Rivendel never knew of his existance. Except one person, but Jesse couldn't name the Elf. What did it matter anymore? He was dead and the dead shouldnt' be talked about.

"I am a good warrior and I know a bit of magic. See, I can read minds. It's both a gift and a curse. You're going to Rohan with a someone named Emowyn, am I right? Believe it or not, I am familiar with Rohan. The Elder once told me a friend of his lived there. Perhaps I can join you on your quest? My skills might come in handy and save your lives sometime,"*

the elf now sat, wondering if any one would talk to her.

Tárakaliel's eyes looked into Jesse's. She had never had anyone read her mind, searching into the past...

"I...I am not the one to make the plans, but when she awakes, I will be sure to ask." she smiles and hopes he is not disappointed.

But if he could search into her past, what more would he be able to see.

*Jesse looked at Tárakaliel's eyes. He smiled and nodded his head. The Elf scratched his blonde hair and let out a sigh.

"I really appreciate you letting me go on your quest. All my life I've searched for true meaning. True belonging. Perhaps now I'll find it,"*

"Ah, well, enough about that. Tell me all about yourself." she said relaxing a little bit, trying to get her mind off somethings.

*Jesse looks at her and smiles.

"Well, I'm an Elf as you can plainly see. All my life I was tutored and raised by the Elder. He taught me magic, swordsmanship, how to use an arrow set, and how to fight in midair. Now he's dead though, rest his soul. I believe he was assassinated but I have no proof of that. See the Elder was one of the top tutors in Rivendell and people were always trying to kill him. Now I only wish I knew his name and that I would've seen his face....."*

"You never saw his face?" Tárakaliel said surprised. She too had some what of a tutor, but it seemed odd that this one wouldn't show his face.

"I too had a tutor...well, not exactly. He raised me in the forests of Mirkwood. He found me there young without parents." She trails off remembering all she had been through during those days. "But he taught me many skills. Potions, herbs, healing, swordsmanship and archery. Almost like a ranger."

* Jesse frowned and nodded his head. Suddenly, he flashed a vision into Tárakaliel's head of what the Elder looked like. He was an Elf, a tall one at that and had brown hair and walked with a cane. The Elder's back was facing them. Then the vision ended. Now Tárakaliel knew what the Elder looked like.

"You see, he never showed me his face. Not even once. He always stood with his back facing me as if I was lesser than him. It made me so mad. Eventually I grew out of it," the Elf explained. Just then, Jesse fell to the ground and started shaking violently. Then he calmed down. For some strange reason, Tárakaliel heard and saw what Jesse saw:

"I see you are leaving me now," said a strange voice. Jesse and Tárakaliel were in Rivendell. The Elf drew his bow for this appeared to be some kind of magic trick. Then the figure who spoke turned his back to them. It was the Elder.

"Elder, it's you! But how can this be? You're deceased!" Jesse yelled as his arrow and sword were ready. Jesse looked curiously at Tárakaliel and mouthed the words "Be ready for anything".

"I come to you in this vision to tell you something. You needn't look for my true identity any longer. Tárakaliel and you now share a special bond. I have seen that. For I am one of Elrond's sons, Jesse. We Elves see things far in advance. You will go with Tárakaliel on her quest. It is there that you will find your answers and your true sense of belonging. May Grace Be With You," then the vision disappeared and Jesse and Tárakaliel were back in the Halls of Menegroth. Jesse looked at Tárakaliel and stood up.

"This vision is one of extreme importance. It is unheard of for the deceased to bring me, let alone you the same vision. It is clear to me now that I must join you on your quest Tárakaliel. This vision didn't happen by accident. We DO share a special bond, one which we cannot deny. Our meeting wasn't a coincidence. Please, let us wake the one who will accompany us and let us leave this place," Jesse the Elf said as he held out his hand to help Tárakaliel get up......*

Confused and dazed Tárakaliel stayed on the ground. "But-how-what-who-....." she was lost in words. What just happened here?

"I-I- I haven't even met him or you before. How-." Thinking back to her friends before, Lossen, Lytra, Astlo, and Glory slipped into her mind. She needed them now, they were smart and could piece things together better than herself.

"I just-I-" she needed some time to think to herself, to meditate.

*Jesse looked at Tárakaliel. The Elf was just as puzzeled as she was. The vision was indeed strange. Jesse sat down and began to meditate as well.

"Tárakaliel, the vision we BOTH had was strange. Even I am still confused. Why would the ghost of the Elder contact you and I? This is indeed puzziling and mysterious. What we need is answers. Perhaps the White Council could give us those answers?"*

"I am to leave for Rohan tomorrow. I cannot go to see the council." she stood up. "I am tired now, I must rest."

She stood up and found a quiet corner where she was able to think over what had happened.

As the first beam of sunlight trikled over the flat line of the horizon, Eowéniel walked into the Inn. The wet clothes from the previous night were now dried, and her Lorien cloak was cast over her shoulders, revealing a ranger style garb. In the breaking light, a fine, is rather worn, cream shirt, hid beneath a well travelled, leather duster coat and a a narrow leather sword belt. Across her back sat her quiver, bow and knives and her pale fair hair now pulled back into a more elvish, braided style. Although she had been gone but afew hours, she did not need much sleep and was now refreshed. It would bemany days before she would rest again.
Now set back into her elvish alertness, Eowéniel looked around for Tárakaliel, hoping that they would set off before the morning rose too far.

Tárakaliel smiled as she saw her companion awake and ready to go. "Ah! Did you have a nice sleep?"

She was clean and very cheerful, but she did not forget about what happened the night before.

Eoweniel smiled at Tárakaliel, "My sleep was short but enough to restore my strength," She motioned for her companion to sit down, taking a seat herslef at a nearby table, "We shall eat and then begin on our journey on foot."
