The Engagement Party for Wonko and Snaga

It was a gorgeous, sun-shinny day, in Middle-Earth. A perfect day for a party, and there was a perfect reason for a party: Wonko and Snaga were engaged!

The tents were up, and the band was ready for requests. There was a looooong buffet table filled with everything in Arda, and a dessert table almost as long. Next to that, was the beverage table, and a fully-stocked with anything you could ever possible imagine bar. In fact, anything you could think of, was under one of the big tents. Whether it be big poufy chairs, or a big screen tv with cable, it was there.

And Eve, seeing that everything was ready, sat back in one of the big poufy chairs. And the guests began to arrive...

Tar came and greeted evereve:

*notices open bar, runs despite full length dress, and hopes over bar opening a bottle of vodka, crannberry juice, and vermouth*

* Starts to set off some fireworks Gandalf-esque* Pan Galactic Gargle blasters for everybody!!!!!!!!!! Yay!!!!!!!!!!!:D :D * Before running off to make the gargle blasters Frodorocks, Rockie, or Rox runs over and drapes a huge British flag over the shoulders of Wonks and Snags.*

Chokang and several other dwarves arrive, carrying many kegs of ale, and a few spit roasts.

"Time to get this party started," yelled Chokang, "and here is a gift for the bride to be!"
*Chokang gives Wonks some mithril jewelry*

"Now..," asked Chokang, "where is the future groom? Has he not arrived?"

"yeah, when is he going to arrive?"

Currently drinking beer in The British Army Barracks and Tea Room.;) He'll be here eventually I suppose. *Starts playing some music by David Grey (Gray?:confused: ) and Radiohead.* Good music Wonks?:p

You know, we need some guys and...more people. I shall go invite some! *grabs some ale and hands Wonks her present* It's a elven blade and cloak. Thoroughly un-original, I know. I am going to go get some food!

*Enters and places a gift on top of a large stack of gifts.*

*Heads over to the bar and mixes himself a drink*

Tar, who does not exactly know where she is, is waiting for Snag to arrive, so she can congratuate both of them together!

*smiles*"I'm going right behind you!" *follows eve since she feels hungry*

*After filling her plate so full it felt like lead in her hands, she joined Mablung at the bar* YOu should try a TTTT! Veryyy nice drink made up in Elgee's Party. I think you would like. :)

[Snaga]

Snaga throws open the door and swaggers in boldly, beaming from ear to ear. He looks resplendent (for an orc) in his sharpest suit, and casts an eye around the room.

Then he begins to circulate, enthusiastically greeting everyone in the room.

'Evie!!! How are you?! You're looking wonderful!'

'Glory... you are as glorious as ever!'

He bows right down to the ground before Tar, grinning broadly. 'Its a great pleasure, oh Mornclaur's dark treasure! I'm a poet in case ya didnt know it. Get me a salad before I sing you a ballad! Sorry that was over the top. I need to stop. Easier said than done.... '

He looks around.

'Hi everyone!!':D:D

Wonks who knows him best, knows that sort of enthusiasm comes from him being slightly drunk....

'Where's the bar? Is it far?'

*points to a tent* "there it is..." *smiles at Snaga* "I don't think you should drink too much" :p

He casts an eye around the room? He'd better get it back, that sounds rather painful!

Just then, everyone hears the sound of singing! They look round and through the door enters the tookish-girl carrying a large box of kit-kats giftwrapped and dressed as a chicken.

"Ta daaaaaaaa!" She cries! everyone is looking at her hen-like garb quite oddly and then she realises that actually, she was only going to dress like that for the actual wedding. Quickly she throughs the outfit off to reveal her traditional hobbit outfit or flared jeans and a t-shirt.

"Hellooooooo!" she cries, running over to snaga and giving him and a hug and presenting the kit-kats, "sorry, I'm late I got stuck getting out of Edinburgh, I swear all those roads look the same *knowing look at British army* But I'm here now!"

She hopes that snaga likes the gift, she was going to bring a film poster that she had stolen from a bus stop but decided to bring the kit-kats instead. But that's not all! Sneakily she brings out another present.

"What is it?" everyone who was interested cries.
"It's a very special gift, made by the elves you know........" There is a gasp. "It was made in the forests of Fangorn in the second Age......."

snaga nearly falls off his bar stool in excitment, as he opens it.

"Oh my!" he cries in that orc-ish cocckney accent of his! "A cellphone you can make free call to America on!!!!! This is a thing of legend indeed!"

Tookish smiles. "It was nothing I got it from this bloke down at the Green dragon......... I could do with a drink, where's the bar?"

[Frodorocks]

"Right over there!":D Frodorocks says as she points out the bar, giggling.:D Yay, he's here!

Eve greets Snaga with much great enthusiasm, is awed by the cellphone from Tookish, and was happy to see that someone else had joined her at the bar. "Hello! My my, these things act quickly dont they?" cries she, as she tipsly walks away from the bar, TTTT in hand. As she munches on food, she is surprised by the lack of drunkeness...only her and Snaga....

* Just so Eve and Snaga won't feel lonely, Frodorocks chugs some Pan Galactic Gargle blasters and some TTTT s to polish them off with.* Tare, at's better?

*legoman sneaks in the back door and gives a quick look to snaga to get his attention*
'Yup, I made it' he whispers ' Now if I can just avoid the scary women I'll be fine.'
*he goes to sit in one of the plastic chairs on the left hand side of the room and drink out of his flask of strawberry milkshake whilst reading the instructions on the cell phone.*
'Wow, it glows blue as warning for when its giving of cancerous radiation, those elves are clever' 'Hmm, strawberry'

"Ha ha!" cries Tookish rather like a villain in Victorian melodrama.
"You cannot escape so easily, legoman. "
(Actually she's a little upset that legoman refered to her as a scary woman,)
"I thought you were my friend" she cries, sobbing in the corner. This is what happens when she has an entire glass of wine, she she stick to the vodka, it has less of an effect. That said, she stumbles off to the bar to get some.

"Ah I feel much better now!" She marches back to legoman rolling up her sleeves in anger. "Right, now what was it you were saying about scary women????"

Elgee and her cats curl up in the corner, start to purr, and slowly drift off to sleep....

*Tar stands up holding her cosmopolitan*

"Three Cheers for the Happy couple"

*people cheer, Tar walks over to Snag*

"What took ya so long? Well, at any rate it matters little! It's good to see you"

[FREEDOM!]

*Walks up to Snaga* Hey dude, Whats up? Can i get some wine?? When is the bachelors party??

[Elbereth]

Elbereth enters with a small blue satin covered box, which she presents to the happy couple.

"I realize you have not opened all of your gifts yet...but I was hoping you could open this gift now...it is very special I am sure you will treasure for your entire lifetime."

Smiling, Wonko warmly accepts the gift, and then at once glances lovingly at Snaga before untying the silver speckled bow. As the bow is released and the lid removed...the room is suddenly filled with many brightly colored lights that dance around, circling thrice around the married couple before shooting out of the door and into the clear night sky. Following the lights outside, the party-goers soon realized that the bright colored lights were actually stars that were now aligning themselves perfectly in the Northeastern sky.

"To the happy couple, I give to you, your own constellation. You may name whatever you wish. But let it be the light that guides you back to each other, when you are apart... and when you have finally made a home together, let it represent the endurance of your bond...for I am sure your love will live as long as the stars in the heaven shall endure. "

[Kellivara]

*Kell walks in, the stars reflecting in her crimson and silver eyes*

*Walks up to Snags holding a tray of tall wine bottles that are so dark they look as if they are made of pure shadow* "Notice the colour of the wine bottles. It's Drow Wine" she says grinning. Garaunteed (sp?) to get you drunk as hell. There are 15 more crates of the stuff on the table over there *points* for you guyz to take home, the this tray here should last at LEAST 5 minutes, even for you two;)"

*Walks over a step or two to Wonks* "Hey there! Enjoying your party? anyway, *Hands Wonks a small little box, and when Wonks opens it, she looks confused to see pieces of paper in the bottom of the box, under a little plate of a few orderves* "The little slips of paper are the recipes for all the orderves I brought, there are 10 of them there, 5 of which have alchohol in them, and as with the wine, there is a tray of each kind of orderve, and 15 crates of each to take home:) But don't worry, the somewhat lame gift of food and drink isn't all I've gotten the two of you, but you guyz don't get the rest of your present til later:p "

*addresses both Wonks and Snags* "Well if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go get drunk off my Please read Announcements on 'substituted swear words' ....and spike every drink I can get my hands on;)" *Kell turns and calls: "CHEERS!!!!!" over her shoulder as she walks away*

Tookish cannot resist the temptation to try this new wine. She has a glass full.
"Wow, everyone! I'm seeing stars!"
She then realsies actually it's just Elbereth's gift and she is still painfully sober.
Off she trots to the bar again.....

eh, you should see the effects on the people who can't hold their alchohol, but you, like me, would need a couple crates of the stuff to get drunk, but I'm not getting into the couple's wine, so I think I'll stick to the gargle blasters

[Snaga]

'Thanks to all my luuverly friends!! I love you all verrry much,' grins Snaga happily. He smiles at Wonks 'Hey baby! Look we got lots of presents!'

He drinks some random drink, not especially noticing what he is drinking. He kisses Wonks on the nose. And grins again.

'Thanks Elbereth! For a moment I thought you'd got me a silver speckled bow. I was going to go hunting with a sparkly bow. But a constellation! Wow!! Sexy Astronomer Esq. will like this a lot. (That's Wonks by the way). We can go star-gazing together. We'll be so happy!'

He turns to Kell. 'Drow wine! What year? A good vintage I bet. Who cares if it gets you drunk, after the first couple of bottles it all tastes the same! Thank you we'll enjoy. Ooh look Wonks... you've got fancy munchies!':D

'Woo hooo!!! Kit Kats!!!' he unwraps one and munches enthusiastically. 'I love Kit Kats! Thanks Tookish!' He hugs her and then lobs several in the general direction of Legoman who is busy with his cell phone.

'I thought that was MY mobile? Let me know when you've worked out how it works for me!'

He pours out some drow wine for FREEDOM. 'Here you go mate! The bachelor's party... or as we Brits like to call it.. the stag night will be sometime not long before the wedding. So not for a while, and you better be coming!?!'

'Hi Tar! Good to see you too! Don't you think someone should wake Elgee up? That's really anti-social! Or has she had too much to drink already. Anyone got a bucket of water?';)

'Hi Rockie! Its great that your here too!'

Turns back to Wonks... 'OK... you have a choice. Want to dance or maybe you have a better idea?'

*stands admiring her work for a while before coming back into the bar again. Elbereth then pours herself a glass of Drow wine and then takes a seat at a nearby table and begins playing with the votive candle that is sitting in the center of table in front of her*

Goldie ran into the party, coming to a skidding halt a few scant inches from wonko. "Sorry im late. i had to acctually buy you a present..." goldie hands them a box wraped in perdy silver paper. inside wonko finds a mithril frying pan set.

Was that my shoulder that you were tapping Eve?:) If so, Pan Galactic Gargle Blasters are these drinks from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, the effects of which are like having your brains smashed out by a slice of lemon wrapped round a large gold brick.:D Hey Wonks! I just finished the part of So Long and Thanks for all the Fish that has Wonko the Sane in it! And I know what fairy cake is now!:D

*Then Elbereth enters the room and presents her gift...as the stars scintilate in their new heavenly home Wonks turns with tears in her eyes to Elbe and throws her arms around her*

*She takes Snaga's hand and sets her wine glass down and leads him to the dance floor*

*Legoman and Frodorocks stop dancing immediately, the music is stopped and everyone turns towards Elbereth*
'Saying your goodbyes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'
'You aint going nowhere sister!' adds Snaga *he grabs her arm*
*the music begins again with now more and more people on the dancefloor including elb getting an honourery dance with the orc of the night, with Wonks clapping along, but keeping a close eye on the lady in question*
'Sorry, where were we, oh yes, frodorocks, please continue'

:p *glances at wonk happier* "well at least you can use it to cook.....it works wonders to cut tomatoes, potatoes and else."

Elgee begins to mamba with a cat even though she has no idea how to mamba. The cat seems to, however, so they get by.

*claps her hands smiling while she watches elgee and the cat dancing mamba* "yeah!" *sips her ale with a happy expresion on her face* :D

*decides she needs even MORE wine and gets some (duh)* Fighting is eviiiil...sorry that was too late to be of any good, but just so my opinion is out there...;)

Yes, Elbe, Snaga does love Wonko!

At a break in the music between songs, Frodorocks runs over and pulls a previously rigged cord, sending showers of glitter onto the laughing crowd below.:)

*Elbereth then joins Elgee and her cats in a sizzling mambo...then when the music changes, Elbereth begins Salsa dancing with Elgee's new Kitty, Patches. *

*claps her hands at the dancing people and goes to a tent to get another drink*

*looks up and then cries out in pain*

Ow!!! I got glitter in my eyes!!!! *stops dancing with Snaga and stumbles to the bar, where she sits on a stool and orders a glass of warm water and a towell.*

Snags, help me...I can't see anything! Help me get the glitter out of my eyes!

*goes to help wonko* "let me see dear, mm.. seem you have many glitter on your eyes" *goes to find some kind of liquid for the eyes*

*Runs towards Truor and gives him a big welcome hug*

I'm so glad you can make it!
*takes a v&f and downs it fast!

"Hey! Woah! Sure, why not? Happy to give this stuff away. It's no fun being a king when you're not allowed to just worry about what you have to eat. But now I get to give stuff away! What kind of presents am I supposed to give at these things anyways? Useful things? What do you need? I just thought that bringing these things for the party would be nice. Oh, and then there was me thinking it was you...Oopsie. My bad. Sorry! *picks out a piece of fish floating about in her drink and shoves it in her mouth. After a few moments of thoughtful chewing, she declares its all good, and she likes it. :)*

Hmmm...something crazy...I'll think of something." *wanders off, huddles with his fellow Beornings a couple of times, talks to his best friend of a horse named Anthrax, his sidekick of a raven named Shadowflaps and his crazy small for a giant eagle friend named Knockondor, then slumps back down onto one of the huge chairs and pretends to think while all of those other people actually are*

I knew people could hear me but I wasn't embarrassed until they said something.

I hate it if I see people watching me sing...
I mean..if I'm on stage or something that's different...

He only uses the "pure" looking horse to capture fair elf-maidens.

Then he takes them to his tower torture-chamber and mutilates them.
