Aran is king
Tari is queen

To my knowledge tarien is princess
and taren is prince?

Expert Helge Fauskanger suggests cundu 'prince' and aranel 'princess'.

I fail to see the logic in that.

Aran-el is translated as little king, thus should be the prince.

Cundu is something I never even heard of, much less it being used. Where does the expert get this from?


I'm not trying to be arguementative here, but I like to have my facts straight.

Cundu is from JRRTs Etymologies

Aranel is from 'Aldarion And Erendis' in UT: 'In that time the people began to speak of her as Emerwen Aranel, the Princess Shepherdess.'

Just to note 'Amin ... edanea' is 'Grey Company Elven' -- this is what the GCE FAQ says, quoted from their site:

"When J.R.R. Tolkien wrote the setting for the Lord of the Rings he crafted an entire world to go with it. I just wanted to be absolutely sure. We are working on getting a more accurate wordlist for our own site, at which we currently still use the adapted version of the grey company.
