Attention all evil beings and creatures of a despicable nature! You are hereby summonned to serve once again the Dark Lord Sauron, in an attempt by him to destroy those that stole the world from him long ago, and reclaim his evil Throne.
Since his downfall in the War of the Ring, His Greatness has been wandering the void, meditating war once again. For against all that remain in Middle Earth, we are the representatives of his/his master's evill wills, forever bent on ruling Middle Earth.
You have been summonned!

this is a summons to an rpg. it's called "The Gathering of Evil" (serious rpg's)
It's about just that. Preparing for the return of Sauron, gathering all evil to us.
Part 2 is gonna be called the countdown, and part 3 the return of the black king, if enough evil creatures answer the "summon of sauron" !!!!
i need the most evil characters for this RPG, and it's just beginning now./have a few players.
pm if interested., i'll check you later and see what's going on...

-AGAR

All right. Thanks to Ciryaher, we now can figure out what we are doing here!

The map is the map in the book. There's a road running Southwards from where we are at. It goes all the way to Isengard, though it's not named Isengard anymore! The road is about 400 miles long. It joins the great East-West road northwards of us. It was built in the 1550's, Shire Reckoning, by Eldarion, son of Elessar.

Waypoints are on the map.

In the Brown Lands, South of Mirkwood

The cave in the Misty Mountains is one.

In South Gondor

Smaller waypoints are upon our pre-determined path. Nog is there running things, sending along new recruits that answered the Summons.

We are headed now for Way-Point #1, set up to meet my men when they come.

The map we are on is the same as the book-map of M.E., basically. In the last few centuries, men have spread far and wide, they have "upgraded" their environments, to fit their needs and the needs of their Kings.

Much is the same, and much is different in Middle Earth right now.
I've figured out the time, it's 1859 Shire Reckoning, 410 years after War of the Ring, 408 years into the Fourth Age.

Steel has been found by men, through their studies in heat and metals, they use it much. It's almost as hard as Mithril, though not as expensive.
Agar has researched a fire-liquid. It's effects can be seen, it's uses are many in this mission. Weapons have been created for it.

Agar is always researching something, things for use in war of course. Hence the weed and the flasks that are avaiable to anyone with us.

Quickbeam and Treebeard were among the ents. They had migrated there in the last hundred years or so. Quickbeam it was who we first saw.

And Agar has never learned of ents. His focus has always been military-oriented. Plus, they have been all but forgotten, except in tales.

OK, the "foundation", or intro, to this game was choppy. Here it is in a nutshell.....

Who we are:
Mere Soldiers in the Army for the Return of Master Sauron.
Agar is the commanding officer, now, of our
What our purpose is
To "collect" all evil beings (from Middle Earth, from the LOTR, of any race.) This can be done many ways. The berserkers are kindof advanced-insanity Dunlendings, living in hiding. Men rule the earth, but every other kind else is still there, blahblah...
And then...
Use them to bring an assault upon one City (that contained a tower) within LOTR.
The world is like
The Map of Middle Earth, centuries after Frodo sailed to the Undying Lands. Of course, I don't have your imaginations, and only can decide certain things about this place. Men are outlasting everything, in these times. Still, as evidenced by Bugburzs and Omnip's appearance in this game, other races dwindle. And so are every other race being out-populated by men. We must find them, they stilllurk near their old haunts. You know what I'm driving at? The evil beings and all?
Sauron
He has awakened in the void somehow, and is drawing the sick and evil races together, under men, since they are ever-lasting in numbers on earth. One particular place his minds-eye has been lately has been the deserts, maybe he likes the view when the Sun rises in the East, or something.
Who is Agar?
Agar the Black, man who claims to be the Hand of Sauron, is the first character I made up for an RPG in here (TTF). He started wandering the deserts, warmongering and reasearching and learning about warfare. His family is Old-School East, they ALWAYS SERVED SAURON, for some reason. He can't think of anything but war. Formerly a Captain of the Harad Army. Many things are strange to him.
The game so far
-We've sent Sauron's message to his old hated enemies, obviously they had some friends.
-There's new Kings in town, in Gondor and Arnor, and their Kingdoms are family. Both Kings are brothers. Grandchildren of Elessar/Evenstar. Word travels fast between them.
-Our Company is headed to Moria, then to the East.

MorgulKing has accepted the position of First Luitennant. He has the power of command.
We get to kill one player, Omnip Dulabra. Don't do it yet!
OK, any ideas/suggestions are welcome. I've done my best up to this point as a gamer. For everyones enjoyment, hopefully!Whoa! I don't want to type this much YayGollum! But the intro is still being played out, I think. And sorry for getting Bugburz a scratch on his head!

I, Nefnarion walk like a man.

Himpharion walks with very good posture, and sticks his chest out

Tolarion walks like he is constantly sneaking... A small shadow follows him everywhere he goes.

The rest of my Barrow Wrights walk like men too

Good, then we are all on foot, no cattle, Bugburz knows what I'm talking about!
And, there's 9 of us.

Agar, +5, Bug, Ullith, Haleg, in that order...=9.
