Well this past... oh say... week and 1/2? I havent posted til yesterday. My excuse... hmmm... well all I can say is that I bought a new video game for the computer, and played in online.... nonstop. What is the 'punishment' for breaking this new rule?

Lately I haven't been on because of all of the homework I've gotten and because I was sick. I don't know how much I'll be able to come on lately, so if you want to move me down from a Quendi, Glorfindel, then I won't take it personally or anything.

No I won't move you down Carantalath, I don't blame you for not coming on because of homework, I have a ton of it too, and its the only the beginning of the new semester, and its only gonna get harder from here, so I might not be on so much starting in a few weeks as well. Oh and being sick is also a perfectly good reason to not go on.;)

Then just say so, but you'll need something really good to back up that excuse, there are 24 threads in this guild, soon to be quite a bit less than that, but there must be something to post, if not in a discussion, then try joining an RP, or if you don't like RP's, try to think of something worth saying somewhere else, or think of a new thread and ask me about it before putting it up, there's plenty of things one can do.

OK, I'm getting my wisdom teeth out on Wednesday, so one of two things will happen.
Either I will be in so much pain, that I won't be able to post for a week or so, or....
I will be so frustrated by not being able to talk very well, that I will be online 24/7 since typing is not hindered by a sore jaw.

Starting on the 15th of February, I will begin moving to a new apartment, where i'll be getting myself adsl as well. So I might not be posting as frequent in these days, but i'll be back with a vengeance. ;)

Just to let the head honchos know, I usually can't post on days that I don't have school, as my mother doesn't approve of message boards, therefore I can only get on at school or when she's not here (like now). So I usually won't be on during the weekends, I doubt that should be a problem.

I'm back. I live near Phoenix Arizona. Our highs were between 65-70 degrees F. We had lots of rain. I live in the desert; we are not supposed to wake up and find a swamp where our camp used to be. Oh well. We all had a good time anyway, in spite of the rain.

ok this is really complicated. my parents r divorced and i only go to my dad's on the 1st, 3rd. and 5th weekends and every other holiday. mom doesnt like me to get on the internet unless its homework (and while im there i cram constantly anyway) and she doesn't approve (or wouldnt' if i asked her) of message boards. im posting this week because its spring break and im at my dads. i wish i could change it but i cant!!!! blah. i'm still pretty new (i registered last nite) but i thot u'd better know in advance.

Spirit, the title of the thread excuses is not the excuses you are thinking of. I, the creator of this thread, had intention a different meaning:

you mean an excuse like "my alarm clock didn't go off" or "my dog ate my homework". I am looking for people who know they won't be able to post and want to be excused. This thread is simply to ensure activity. People here have no reason to lie. If they did, why would it matter? If they can't post/don't want to post/anything else they can be excused.

Hi there, fellow elves and efl-friends!

It was a wonderful online time, watching this guild from emerging, and I really liked the rpg I joined in at those times...

But then, I had not much time to get here, and somehow, in these last days, I lost somehow interest in Tolkien...

Maybe it's a kind of disease? And perhaps some wise elven healer knows something to help me?

And for those who wonder, why I post here, cause I wanna excuse that I didn't take part anymore, although I asked Glorfindel to keep me in the member list... :(

One thing I don't understand is why we can't just post once in a while. But if we can't take my name off the list cuz school is just a bit more important, and I'm planning to be in my provincial team for equitation.
So I'm afraid Tolkien forum is way down the list after School and Horses and Piano and Social life and Equestrian Committee etc.
