This is an rp "world" that ties in directly with the Dorms and Teacher's complxes. This thread is where you post when your character is away from those places (can't stay couped in there all the time;)). You can stay outside or go to any other bulding like the Temple of Heren Istarion (the main complex), libraries, classrooms, cafeterias;), barackes.......and you can even go into your dorm and start posting there.:)

just remember--there is a lake by the Temple of Heren Istarion, a waterfall by that. There are hills and small mountains, scattered forests, and plains of grass.:)

Ingolemo looked around him as he walked. Students walked to and fro conversing of their first many days of class. He walked up to one student reading with his back against a tree.

"Greetings, fellow" Ingolemo said. "How are you?" He did not listen to the answer. Ingolemo nodded and said have fun and was off.

[ms Greenleaf]

Charmiana was practising her sword dancing in a small glade near the waterfall each deadly move done with elegance and preecision till someone behind the trees caught her attention.

[Ecthelion]

Ecthelion walked out to the lake and waterfall and unsheathed his sword, with great concentration he practiced his sword fighting repeatedly. Ecthelion would take breaks every so often to stare at the lake and listen to the waterfall.

[Goldberry344]

Goldie walked along a lake, fed by a water fall. Looking around she saw some of her piers practicing their sword work. She did not feel compelled to do so. She silently took off her shoes, sat on a rock at the edge of the lake and fell into silent daydreams.

Sarin needing to practice his hand skills saw the group at the lake and waded down as well. Not wanting to sit idle like Goldie he took off his shoes as well and strode into the lake where he practiced sneaking up on fish then catching them with his hands.

[ms Greenleaf]

Charmiana met the others by the lake and waded deep into the pool letting the waterfall spill over her shoulders... I t was so nice being near water... The waterfall is so powerful and with that thought she went back to her sword practise against some unseen enemy.

[Maeglin]

Glarin walked out onto the grounds towards the lake and proceded to do his warm-up by running laps around the lake for 5 miles. He then armed himself as if he was ready for battle, as his father had taught him, by keeping his sword sheathed at his waist and strapping 4 sheathed throwing knives onto his arms and legs. He also kept a dagger hidden up his sleeve. Glarin unsheathed Glorsil and began practicing his battle movements against an invisible enemy: he stabbed, swung, and thrusted his sword very quickly, all the while leaping up to avoid blows from an enemy coming from behind. He made a kicking motion as if to make his enemy stagger, and then swung the sword swiftly across the spot where his enemy's head would be. He then spun around quickly and in the process he unsheathed a knife and threw it at great speed as he came out of his spinning motion, the knife landed right in the head of the fish that Sarin had just caught in his hands.

Goldie sat on her rock, occasionally dipping her feet into the cool water around her. She laughed and smiled at her peirs who were practicing and showing off.

[Mablung]

Sarin pulled the knife from the fish nonchalantly and dropped it into the lake where it was quickly buried under silt and sand. Then he threw the fish onto the shore and tried to catch more figuring he could cook a few a little later since everyone would be hungry from the training.

[ms Greenleaf]

"Oh master Glarin I see you brought your sword would you like to warm up with me..".Glaren ignored her. Or would you rather battle the wind. I hear he is very powerful here.

[Goldberry344]

"Oh, dont battle here!" Goldie protested. "Its far to calm and plesant. We've been battling eachother in class all day! Don't ruin the peacefullness!"

[Maeglin]

"It would be my pleasure to defeat you in a battle Charmiana. However, being a gentleman, I will respect the wishes of Goldie and choose not to fight you here. But perhaps some other time." Glarin bowed to her and went back to his training.

[Dáin Ironfoot I]

Dain preferred to remain alone in the cliffs, carving the rocks in any fashion he pleased. He sharpened his axe and softly sang to himself, not remembering the words the crazy Hobbit had sang to his father long ago. But upon hearing the laugh of Charmania through the calm breeze, the words came to him and he sang loud and deep,

" The road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began
Now far ahead the road has gone,
And I must follow if I can.

Pursuing it with weary feet,
Until it joins some larger way,
Where many paths and errands meet
And whither then? I cannot say!"

Legolaschick slowly walked around the place learning where all of the classes where held and finding the library, She thought that she would need that, when her teachers gave her some homework, also so that she could hopfully get some reading in.

Glarin I did not mean to fight you...I would not wish to hurt your honmor here with do many people watching all that I meant By what I said was that i would enjoy WARMING UP with you...going through our paces ...maybe you could teach me some that i do not know---This was the closest Charmiana would get to apolagizing to the spoilt brat.

[Maeglin]

Glarin saw Charmiana roll her eyes as she said that, and knew that the attempt at an apology was not altogether sincere, but he ignored it. "In that case I will practice with you, what are you being trained for again? We may have different specialties, but all the same, I would not mind it."

[ms Greenleaf]

My speciality is the sword. For an elf I am a horrible archer. I am traing to be an assasin. I have some acting skills that might comein handy in certain occasions. While speaking she draws a long blade. Meet Kleissan.

[Maeglin]

I am training to be a Paladin, Glarin drew his sword and it let off a silver glow, as it had for his father, "Meet Glorsil," he said, "and Glorsil's little brother, Glarna," he said, revealing the dagger that stays hidden up his left sleeve.

Ingolemo pushed aside the heavy doors of the Temple of Heren Istarion. His first footsteps echoed loudly among the halls before Ingolemo stepped softer. Few torches lit the chambers but it was enough. Gold light flickered off jewel studded walls and marble stairs led to many levels.

"Where did I put that blasted cloak!?" He said aloud to no one in particular. All eyes shot towards him. He went from chamber to building to room to room all throughout Heren Istarion looking for his cloak.

[Legolaschick]

Legolaschick slowly walked out of the libray and saw the others by the lake and the waterfall. So she joged on down to see what was going on.

[ms Greenleaf]

"You use knives as well..." With that Charmiana pulled out two mithril knives. " They do not need names. Why not start with the basic sword stances. Then you can sshow me your specialitys."

[Maeglin]

"Sounds good to me, my lady." Glorfindel held his sword directly in front of him, close to his body and pointing straight up, as was his usual stance, though he wished to learn new ones, and waited to see how Charmiana held her sword.

[ms Greenleaf]

What a distinct style he has... Charmiana thought after seeing the position in which he held his sword. She too had a distinct style she held her slightly to the right as if already prepared...she usually found this useful in battle, although many prefered Galin's more traditional style. Charmiana started danceing her sword moved in a fleuent motion Glarin gave a startled look when she started with out warning but seemed ready enough. Charmiana gave powerful strokes as a way of sizing up Glarin.

[Maeglin]

Glarin watched her movements and thought them strange, though he knew he should not have, for many fought in that flowing, fast moving style. Glarin, on the other hand, used a fencing style, in which he remained calm and instead of swinging so much he used quick pokes, jabs, and thrusts with his sword. When Charmiana swung her sword he lifted it with his right hand horizontally up to block her blow.

Strange he fought like a man or a dwarf... not that this was a bad way of fighting... just different. Charmiana facked a shot at the front and when she saw Glarin a little off balance she twirled and thrust to the back.

[Legolaschick]

she saw the others fighting and slowed her jogging pace. "I do believe this will be a good fight to see." she said as she jumped onto a rock.

[Maeglin]

Glarin saw Charmiana's spinning thrust coming around up high on his body, he dropped flat to the ground just in time to avoid getting hit, he was face first on the ground and could not defend himself like this, so he decided to take the offensive, he swung his sword around towards her feet. She had to leap to avoid getting hit, and this gave Glarin enough time to get up and regain his composure.

Sarin ignored the fight going on and continued to catch the fish when he had enough for everyone he waded back onto shore and started up a fire then using the cooking equipment in his back pack he began to filet the meal.

[ms Greenleaf]

A daring move ---though I would not recommend it in battle glaren...for although it takes me time to give an appropriate hit (one that will not hurt you ) It would take very little time for someone to kill you in that situation. Knpowing that she has caught him off gaurd with that remark CHarmiana shot a blow to the ankles then shot her sword up. He parried both but then she hit a resounding blow head on... she wondered if he would think her powerful enough for such a shot. There were as many chauvonistic elves as there were spoilt ones.

[Maeglin]

Glarin staggered, and then responded to her comment, "I realize that, but in that situation it would be a choice between life and death, and that move would have kept me alive a bit longer." But now Glarin was taked by surprise by her strength, "you are surprisingly strong and fast Charmiana, most impressive." Glarin swung down towards her knees but instead of going forward with the swing he simply circled his sword back up, while she had moved hers down low for the block, this left Glarin with an opening blow for her sword arm, "had we been in battle, you would now be down to just one arm, and a sword on the ground." Glarin then took a step back, prepared to take the defensive again, for he felt he needed work on that.

[ms Greenleaf]

"You are right." and with that she threw down her sword jumped Glarin and stole his sword without ever using the would-be injured ar,. Glarin who had been confused since she threw down her sword just stared. "THat was something I learnt before my travelling. Back when I lived in Mirkwood. Maybe if you are kinder I will teach you it someday. Glarin noticed a nceklace wih a silverleaf on it. Charmiana quickly hid it "perhaps we should go to the dorms and continue this discussion. Oh and thank-you for your dress, some people understand manners."

[Maeglin]

Glarin looked at her astonished while she held his sword, which is the biggest mistake one can make, for his father's sword was his most prized posession. Glarin feinted like he was going to pick up the sword she had thrown down, but instead he jumped up and spinning around kicked the sword out of her hand, "and perhaps if you are nicer I will teach you that," he said to her. Both now stood face to face, and un-armed.

[Maeglin]

Goldie jumped up and stood in front of Charmiana, beteen her and Glarin. "Indeed, if this had turned out to be a practice bout I should have no problems, but it seems you two still harbor a long lasting grudge. Please, put it, and this fight aside!"

"And I yours, for there is more to you than you let on." He bowed and walked away back to the dorms to wash up and get to his studies.

Goldie frowned after Glarin, going back to her rock and lying down, basking in the sun.

[Mablung]

Sarin took some plates out of his pack then set them on a rock for people to take if they wished. "I think thats as close as you will be getting to a compliment right now Charmiana. It seems he's starting to get friendlier though so I wouldn't worry too much." Then he climbed onto a rock and began eating.

[ms Greenleaf]

The next day Charmiana met Glarin by the rocks. I do not think said she that Goldberry would mind if we fought...weaponless. For that is where we left off is it not? She smiled. You and I were equals at sword though our techniques were very different. Now we shall see who is the better in hand to hand conmbat.

CHarmiana extremely good at hand to hand...it was her thing.

The two started GLarin rushed Charmiana she grabbed his hands pushed her weight off from the ground flipped in the air and landed...one foot on the ground the other on Glarins back. Aware of the crowd that had gavered she bowed, Glarin took advantage of this mockery to twist and pull CHarmiana too her knees beside him. She laughed, she had deserved it, she should not have mocked him. Come my friend now we shall do something more attuned to your talents. What do you suggest we work on next.

Upon saying this Charmiana crossed her fingers and hoped that he would not choose archery.


His comment of yesterday still was bothering her...had he noticed the necklace, more importantly did he know what it meant.

[Maeglin]

"Let us see how your skills are with an axe. Where is our master Dwarf? I'm sure he has one you can borrow if you do not have one of your own to use."

[ms Greenleaf]

An interesting choice Glarin... I have thought for quite sometime that you fight like a dwarf. I guess I was right.

[Maeglin]

"Is that an insult? For you would not wish to offend our Dwarf friend. But now, I do not know if I fight more like a dwarf or not, an axe is a hard weapon to fight with. It is much heavier than the sword." Glarin held his axe across his body, and then thrusted towards Charmiana's stomach, she jumped back to avoid the blow, and then then brought her own axe around with a heavy blow meant for Glarin's shoulder, but he blocked it with the middle part of his handle. He then stood back, waiting to see what her next move would be.

[lossenandunewen]

Lossenandunewen appeared soundlessly between the trees, watching Glarin and Charmiana. They did not notice her, as they were staring at eachother intently. She watched Glarin make a movement towards her collar, and in doing so Lossenandunewen put her own hand to her collar and fingered the sapphire charm that hung listlessly around her neck. She glanced up at them again, and wondered why Charmiana would continue to challenge Glarin, unless she was in some way attracted to him. She then saw them take out axes. "Another challenge" she thought, and paroused out of the trees to the water, looking into the still-moving mirror below her.

Sarin broke from meditation on top of the cliffs above at the sound of clinking axes. He sighed and peered over the edge and saw Glarin and Charmiana fighting again. "Aye the foolishness of youth and the passion of battle 'tis a bad combo." He then dangled his legs off of the edge of the cliff and watched making sure neither of them got too carried away.

[ms Greenleaf]

Charmiana felt she must teahc this brat a lesson ---wherther she knew much about the axe or not. She had used once before and was better at the axe thaen the bow but that was not much. Treat it like a heavier sword and with that she swung first asws hard as she could at the legs than as glarin thrust she sprang back and tried to catch his feet. The trick that she had gotten from him "I did not mean it as an insult to anyone Glarin. .. it is only your style, who taught you,?"

Goldberry sighted and went around to the other side of the lake. "Fancy you two taking a break!" she exclaimed as she went off.

[Maeglin]

Glarin lowered his axe and looked after Goldie, with a sorrowful look on his face. "My father taught me, along with Gimli Gloin's son, before he left this land with Legolas that is. But if you'll excuse me, perhaps it is time we put this rivalry aside for the day, I shall see you in class." He bowed and then turned and went after Goldie.

[ms Greenleaf]

Charmiana sighed, she should not have challenged him. Goldie was right. Although he had been earning Respect for her... he was no longer so rude. So his teacher had been Gimli interesting for her teacher had been...

While she was walking along the lake she heard footsteps behind her. Turning in surprise, she found herself facing Glarin. She smiled in delight and shock at the man. "You decided to stop?" she asked.

[Maeglin]

"I did not wish to upset you, my lady, and so requested that we put our differences aside, and respect your wishes. I also wished to walk with you, and learn more about you, if you will allow it."

[ms Greenleaf]

Charmiana laughed as Golid and GLaren walked away. "Ah young love it is tres romantique n'est pas?"

[Goldberry344]

"Why, thank you, Glarin." Goldie blushed, not before aware that Glarin had cared for anyone's feelings, let alone hers. "I wish to know more about you too. Lets walk."

[ms Greenleaf]

Charmiana whistled and her roan mare came...she jumped up and road away.

[lossenandunewen]

Lossenandunewen watched all the others leave, except for Sarin, thought he did not remember that he remained. She gracefully dived into the water and swam and treaded like a swan. She was in complete comfort alone, when she heard the snap of a twig and she swiftly jumped out of the water and up the rocks as if she flew. She sat a top the rocks, and looked in the direction of the noise, and saw...

[Maeglin]

Glarin and Goldie were still walking around the lake, "Tell me Goldie, where is your home, and what made you decide to come to this place, for this is a place where one would learn how to do battle, and someone as beautiful as yourself should not be fighting and putting yourself in danger. It would be a grievous hurt to the world if something happened to you."

[Goldberry344]

"I live at the home of my grandfather, Tom Bombadil." Goldie replied. "I came here to make my training more thorough. I have no wish to go to battle or kill for pleasure, but lerning to defend oneself is, in my eyes, a noble art. And at any time my grandfather's home, or the lands of the rangers, my kin, may be attacked, and then I must ride to their aid. Though you may think me beautiful," Goldie blushed a bit at this thought, but continued none the less, "I would sacrifice my beauty and my life for those whom I love." Goldie glanced up at Glarin, trying to interpret the look on his face, and asked him, "What brought you here, Glarin? It does not seem to be to your liking."

[Maeglin]

It was not of my own free will that I came to this place. My father, Glorfindel, sent me here to help better my fighting skills in case we ever need to defend Rivendell. He also sent me here, I think, to humble me, for he feels that I think too highly of myself, which I must say, after being here for just a few weeks, I am beginning to believe is true. You have taught me in the ways of kindness and modesty, while Charmiana has taught me that I am not as great of a warrior as I have always thought I was. And while she is not here, I thank the both of you for this, and I am very grateful."

[Goldberry344]

Goldie smiled. "Indeed, you are a very different person now from when you came here. More pleasant, indeed, though you still have your moments of vanity. Those moments give you a most charming character, if I may say so myself."

[Maeglin]

Glarin laughed at this, "Well I thank you," he said smiling at her. He then took her hand and continued walking along. For a while they walked in silence, then he asked her, "do you ever get the feeling, as I do, that Charmiana is hiding something from us?"

[Goldberry344]

Goldie paused to gather her thoughs before she spoke. "Yes. But I also think that she likes having the secret. Something that everyone knows she has, but no one knows what it is."

[Maeglin]

"Well I would not go that far, I believe I know what it is, but I will keep it silent, and respect her wishes."

[Goldberry344]

Goldie raised an eyebrow. "Indeed, that would be most honorable. I am sure she would appreciate it, though she would not tell you so."

[Maeglin]

"Yes I know she would not, unfortunately. I wish I knew why she hates me so much more than the others, I know I am not perfect and that I can be a bit conceited or full of myself at times, but she seemed to hate me the moment she set eyes on me, before she ever even spoke a word to me."

[Goldberry344]

"That I cannot tell you. I am not so close to her as I would wish to be, but I have an odd feeling she does not get very close to others."

[Maeglin]

"Many are like that, wasn't I, when you first met me? Perhaps she will allow us to learn about her in the future, and share some of her story with us."

[Goldberry344]

"Yes, indeed you were. It would be so nice to get to know her, though. I am a rather sociable person, unless you hadn't noticed. When you first got here I was convinced you almost hated me for it."

[Maeglin]

"Take this as a sign that I do not hate you Goldie." And he kissed her, but afraid that she might get angry about this, he pulled away before too long.

Goldie's heart sped up at the touch of Glarin's lips on hers. Every muscle in her body became aware and stiffened. Slowly she relaxed into Glarin's arms, until he broke the kiss. Smiling, she looked into Glarin's eyes, "I'll guess you don't hate me," she joked.
Glancing across the lake she saw the others practicing and fooling about, and she smiled. "It so beautiful here." she commented, "I can't wait to see it in the fall!"

[Legolaschick]

Legolaschick had seen the two kiss but said nothing to the others. She jumped into the lake after taking off her boots. "Ah..." she said. "This feels so good."

[Maeglin]

Glarin jumped when he heard Legolschick jump into the lake, "Legolaschick how is the water?" Glarin asked. "And how can you jump into it? I am terrified of doing such things."

[Goldberry344]

Goldie laughed. "But how can you be afraid of it! It's only water, and you wont melt if it touches you!"

[Maeglin]

"I'm a chronic hydrophobic, I cannot swim, so I would never dream of jumping into the water."

Goldie smiled at Glarin, "Good to know. I won't ever invite you to go boating on the Withywindle."

[Maeglin]

Glarin smiled, "Oh I'd go, just make sure the boat doesn't tip over, unless you want me to drown." Glarin then looked over to the side and saw Charmiana there, "Don't get any ideas!" he yelled at her.

Goldie smiled, took off her shoes and slowly waded into the water. As soon as her toes touched the water she raised her eyebrows. "Its a little bit cold, dont you thing, Charmiana?"

[ms Greenleaf]

Charmiana at this remark jdived into the deepest part of the water. Its cold but thats what makes it invigorating. I know what would elimininate your fears of water Glaren the open ocean the waves are six feet tall you can FEEEL the power. She splashes Goldie and Glaren.

Goldie laughed and kicked water at Charmiana. "I love the ocean. The miles and miles of ocean and the sun. Glarin, have you ever been to the sea? It is, as Charmiana said, impossible to hate it."

[Maeglin]

"Yes, I have been there, and it is beautiful, but not something I would attempt to swim in."

[ms Greenleaf]

"DO not worry Glaren I would not push you into an ocean where you could not swim I have fears as well. I am afraid of climbing in high high places like mountain cliffs (true story) Hundreds of years ago my family and I climbed up the Rockies and we were near the edge i looked down and trust me it took alot to get me across. it is best to face ones fears though

Sarin looked over at Lossenandunwen as she swam in the water. He began idly playing with some sticks while thinking. Breaking one of them in his hand he watched as she sprung up the rocks toward him quickly. He got up and bowed as she reached the top. "My apologies m'lady I did not mean to disturb you."

[Legolaschick]

"I've done this since I was I little child." replied Legolaschick. "I love the rush of the water."

[lossenandunewen]

"Oh master Sarin, it was just you. That is a relief. I was just taking a relaxing swim in the pools. What are you doing up top the rocks hidden like this? Thinking or just meditating?"

She sat down gently next to him, and her grey eyes looked in his. Her red hair damp against her shoulders and back.

[Mablung]

Sarin smiled softly and peered back through his brown eyes locking with hers. "Oh I was simply exploring the mysteries of life, love, death, grief, and all other things. So I guess I was just half way between the two. Of course I can save those thoughts for later seeing as how I am being blessed with such lovely company. I may have tried swimming myself to help speed the thoughts up, but I'm afraid I never learned. The only place I could have was the river near the monestary but that was far too swift."

[Legolaschick]

Legolaschick swam up to the two, "Hey look why don't you try now? Down here the water is so calm. I'm sure that you will love. Or at least feel the water against your legs." She said as she lightly waded to a very calm part of the lake.

[lossenandunewen]

Lossenandunewen looked down at legolaschik, which a mischievious glint in her eyes.

"I agree!"

And with that she pushed Sarin into the water, then jumped in after him.

"It is shallow enough to stand in"

[Mablung]

Hearing that it was shallow enough he ceased his thrasing about, and stood up tall. "Well no time like the present I guess. So, what exactly am I supposed to do?"

[lossenandunewen]

"Well, being a living creature means you can float. Just lie onto your stomach, and propel yourself with your arms and legs."

Lossenandunewen then showed him an example of the movements in such grace that could not be defined by any language.

"And make sure you don't drink to much. Isn't the water calming and beautiful?"

[Mablung]

Sarin watched the movements almost hypnotized and murmured "Yes very calming and beautiful indeed." Then snapping out of it he decided to go ahead and try so he went out to where it was a bit deeper then lay on his stomach warily and tried his best to replicate her motions gliding around in the water a bit jerkily.

[lossenandunewen]

Lossenandunewen tried not to laugh at Sarin's jerky movements.
She couldn't hold it in anymore, and laughed out loud.

"It will come with practice, much like anything else. But it is a virtue to know to swim. Atleast if you get lost at sea, you have a chance of return."

[Mablung]

Sarin realized he was looking like a fool and with a concious effort smoothed out his motions so he was swimming almost normally. Then he swam back and stood up next to Lossenandunewen."Well I've never had any particular notion to go out to sea, but I suppose it will be useful if I ever do need to." He then looked over at her from staring at the lake. "Thank you for teaching me I will need some more practice, but now I have a start thanks to you."

[lossenandunewen]

"Your very welcome. You will soon learn that being in the water is as good for your mind as meditation. Well perhaps not exactly as good, but close."

She jumped out of the water onto the rocks and looked out on the land. She smiled.

"why, I can see Goldie and Glarin. They sure seem to be getting along quite heartily. It's good that Charmiana stopped that silly quarrel between them."

[Mablung]

Sarin brought himself onto the rocks next to Lossenandewen, and followed her line of sight. "My eye's do not see quite as far as yours, but I can still make them out. I could see it a mile away they were too much like eachother not to have this happen. Something to be envious of I suppose. It is the greatest of gifts."

[lossenandunewen]

"Well master Sarin, i've yet to experience the truth in that."

She scanned the tree lines, seeing all the elves and men wandering the woods with her elven-eyes. She stood on the rock.

"I shall return soon." She said quickly and then leaped on the rock face into the lake and dissappeared.

[Mablung]

"I shall wait here then." Sarin then sat down and began humming to himself watching her as she went.

Goldie and Glarin still stood on the opposite shore of the lake. Goldie glanced at Charmiana who stood waist deep in the water. Walking in a bit further, Goldie shivered at the cold. "Is it really refreshing or am i just fooling myself?" she asked Charmiana.

Of course it is refreshing and with that charminaa ducked her head completely in the water and dived down deep. SHe grabbed Goldie's foot and dragged the poor retch down with her.

Goldie yelped as Charmiana grabbed her foot. Startled, she lost her footing and was dragged completely underwater. Sputtering she came to the surface, smiling. "If you call an ice box refreshing, then I'm sure this is." Then Goldie stood and turned to face the opposite end of the lake and dove in, swimming nearly half way accross the lake before she rose to the surface.

Charmiana followed suit and then called to Glaren "Surelly you would not mind putting your toes in... as I said before it is better to facee one's fears.

Glaren replied, "I would be afraid you would do the same to me as you did to Goldie."

"You know I would not do that, you have my word as an elf."

Glaren looked at Charmiana searchingly.

Goldie swam back to shore with steady, strong strokes. "Don't push him, Charmiana!" she exclaimed, laughing as she climed out of the water.

You know I would not do that said Charmianna in a serious voice ---- that is something he has to do forhimself.

"I meant push him verbally!" Goldie retorted, looking up at the cliff above the lake. "Say, Charmiana, wouldnt that work as a diving board?"

You mean that log over there..lets find out and with that Charmiana raced up onto the plank and dived in,

Goldie ran up the cliff after Charmiana and waited for her head to break the water after her dive. "Is it fun?" she yelled down. not waiting for an answer she screamed, "Get out of my way!" and stood three steps from the edge of the cliff. she ran to the edge again and jumped into a swan dive, bringing her arms together when she was five feet from the water's surface. When she came back to the surface after her dive she was grinning. "That was great!"

"See Glaren I am afraid of hights yet I can force myself to do that...and the best part is you get the most amazing high.

[Maeglin]

"Oh I'm sure you do, and the most amazing pain as you hit the water I'd imagine."

"No," Goldie insised, "It's fun. But I wouldnt suggest it if you are frightened of heights and water."

[Maeglin]

"Which I am. But I must be going to finish my work now, I'll see you all later." And Glarin turned and walked back towards the dorm.

Lossenandunewen silently walked behind Sarin, who sat atop the cliff.

"Boo!" She jerked his shoulders backwards and laughed. She took a seat next to him.

"I hope I wasn't to long! That water still looks wonderful!" And she jumped in, between Charmiana and Goldie soaking them both.

"Sorry!" She said cheerfully, and smiled at them.

Sarin laughed glad to have some company again and stood up carefully. Still a bit nervous about swimming he hesitated a moment, but then he decided he'd rather be down there with her and jumped in landing a few feet away from the others then swam over by Lossenandunewen happily. "Do you do anything but swim? I just dried off you know!"

"Well, I could show you my favorite tree." She said. Sarin gave her a questioning glance.

"Yes, my favorite tree. It's right over THERE!" she said and raised her arm splashing him. Sarin went to splash her back, but she dived under and he splashed Charmiana instead. While this water fight continued, Lossenandunewen hopped up the cliff to the top unnoticed, and watched, laughing.

Sarin heard Lossenandunewen's lighthearted laugh then he cupped some water in his hands, and climbed out of the pool. With a quick flip he landed on the rocks next to her the water not spilling due to the centrifuge force. He then dumped the water on her the took her arm and fell down dragging them both back into the water.

Goldie started giggling at the behavior of her two friends, and her giggles turned into coughs as she inhaled the water of the lake. Getting ahold of herself, she turned and splashed Sarin and Lossenandunewen.

Lossenandunewen let out a little scream and crashed into the water, holding onto Sarin's arm so she wouldn't fall alone. She surfaced, wiped the water out of her eyes and gave Sarin an evil glance, one of her greatest abilities. Then she laughed and joined in the splashing.

Sarin cringed a little bit as she glared but then lightened up a great deal when he heard her laughing. To counter their splashing which was beginning to gang up on him he started splashing at both of them using one arm for each. His movements became very quick bombarding them with a constant spray of water. Then while they were being bombarded he scrambled out of the water flipping himself up the rocks towards the top of the cliff again.

"You're not going anywhere!" Lossenandunewen said, and she and Goldie grabbed his legs and pulled him back into the water. Lossenandunewen then scrambled to the top of the cliff and stood completely upright.

"I win!" And she did a little victory dance, wringed out her red hair and sat.

Sarin got pulled into the water rather painfully and ran up after Lossenandunewen even though she had already won. He sat down next to her and shook his head violently drying it then smothing it out with his hand. "You could have done that when I was on the sand you know." Then he began treating the scrapes he had all over his arms.

OF course it does not hurt Glaren, do you remember the arc of my body whern I dived in...(and who could forget either her or goldie's graceful dive) that kept my body from splashng against the hard water. Of course I would not ask you to jump off tthe cliff justr put your toes in. And Goldie... It is not what you ask of him but what he asks of himself. and on that serious tone she grabbed the unsuspecting Goldie and pulled her deeper in the water...

"Oh my dear! I didn't realize we pulled you in so hard Sarin! Let me look at those cuts!" She lifted his arm and tended to the wounds.

"I'm sorry Master Sarin. These don't look that bad though, I can assure you that you'll survive" She smiled.

"Perhaps we should stay away from the water for a bit."

Sarin smiled and turned a bit red from being fussed over. "Don't worry it wasn't hard it was simply a rough patch of rocks. And quit it with the Master bit I think you know me well enough to dispense with it. Anyway I think you are right about the water. This is my first day swimming I don't want to get too water logged."

[ms Greenleaf]

yes the man IS right you do not need to fuss over him because of a few scratched...Glaren gets more gashes just trying to get up in the morning.

Sarin seemed releived and a little angry at Charmiana, and what Lossana.. felt about the situation Charmiana did not know but she felt she would soon know.

"I'm sorry for fussing Sarin. I'm used to being in the wild, and fussing over the wounded animals and beggers i'd run into. And Charmiana, Glarin wouldn't recieve so many gashes if you didn't continue inflicting them upon him, no?" She said, and laughed a bit. She did still feel that Charmiana's hatred towards Glarin may just be misplaced. She still believed Charmiana had a crush on Glarin.

[ms Greenleaf]

CHARMIANA WAS no longer fighting with Glaren... so she replied. "i am afraid I in no way instilled that gash on his head... he did it himself. All in all Mablung that was the second worst first attempt at swimming I have ever seen. THe worst being when I tried to swim."

He shook his head. "Don't worry about it I was just a little weirded out because I'm not used to it. Up until I came here I was pretty much totally independant except for when I was a small boy which I can't remember. There was nothing wrong with it though." Sarin had similar suspicions regarding Charmiana, but he reasoned she would probably be a little more hostile towards Goldie if that were the case.

Goldie looked over at Glarin, alone on the shore and swam steadily back to him. Grinning as she climbed out of the water, she swiftly took him up in a huge, wet hug. "There!" she said, "now you can cool down without entering the water!"

"Oh thank you sooo much, now I am sopping wet! Thats okay though, I don't mind it from you, if it was anyone else I'd have a problem."

"I'm glad it's ok, because you're wet anyways!" Goldie laughed and kissed Glarin quickly, then sat down in the grass, motioning for him to join her.

Glarin sat down beside her and watched Charmiana make a fool out of herself in the water.

Lossenandunewen motioned for Sarin to look down at Goldie and Glarin. At the time, Glarin was staring at Charmiana.

"Look at him shoot daggers at Charmiana. I don't think we'll ever know why they hate each other so much!"

By now she was completely dry from the water, and she had braided her hair quickly.

"Some have told me i'm an incarnation of my mother. But i've never known her long enough to remember anything. Sometimes I'll walk into a little village and some people will stop in their tracks and call me Lossenevalia, ofcourse I though they were crazy at first, but when someone calls you that in every village it tends to make you realize things."

Sarin nodded thoughtfully."Well the spirit of an Elf goes to reside in the Great Halls, and there are cases like Glorfindel so I'm not suprised there is Elven reincarnation. My spirit will blow away like dust in the wind though when my time ends. So it is a gray area if we men can be ressurected or not. I doubt though a mother would come back as her own daughter in either case."

Goldie lazily pulled up blades of grass as she let the sun dry her clothes. Realizing her hair would never dry while it was tied back, she untied it and let it spill accross her back. She twisted to lie on her stomache, her chin propped on her hands.

Lossenandunewen gave Sarin a little squint, and crinkled her nose a bit.

"I did not mean that I am my mother, I meant more along the lines of resemblance. To quote some farmers, I'm her image come back from the grave. Those farmers knew nothing of elven life."

Sarin laughed a bit. "Well us simple farmers need help with those things sometimes."

It was a warm sunny day at Heren Istarion, and Celebrien wanted to enjoy it. He headed out of his dorm to do some knife training. After jogging the mile or so to the lake, he entered the forest and found the glade he had been using. He began to go through a series of exercises, each set faster then the last. Celebrien found some long sticks, then set them on end in the ground. He whirled through them, chopping the tops off neatly with his razor-sharp blades. He settled down for a brief snack, and took out some dried meat. When he had finished, he got up again. "Well, the day is long and there is always room for improvement, I think I will work just a little bit longer." After saying this, he went to find some more sticks.

I know it may be strange to see me here...and dressed in white no less. I've enrolled in courses as a healer. I thought it appropriate to don my White Elf demeanor for the duration of my training.*

Goldie smiled at Arianne, "I must admit I was slightly shocked to see you looking so light, but its good to have you around!" Goldie picked some daisies and began making a crown.

*Then she whispered* I'm still the Dark Elf...don't let the clothes fool you. I just thought it would be more appropriate for doing good things like healing people. ;)

Charmiana noticed an elf on the side a ways off from the bunch of them and picking sticks. "Hello Celebrein!" she cried and then handed him a stick for that was shat he was after?

Lossenandunewen stood up, she was now dry. She sun reflected off her red hair, making her have a red glow around her.

"Ho Celebrien! How are you?" She called, and leaped off the rocks to the land where celebrien practiced.

"Interesting knife play huh? You could probably get more practice from Charmiana, The first day here she fought with Glarin. It's quite entertaining, and i'm sure great practice for the both of you. I'd fight you myself, but you know..." She laughed. She looked back to where Sarin, Goldie and everyone else sat, and slowly walked over.

"That is a beautiful ring or flowers! How did you do that?" She plopped herself down next to Arianne.

"I'm Ewen! It's nice to meet you"

Yes my fights with Glaren were...interesting who won is an entirely different matter...I won of course. This was a joke because it had been impossible to tell who had won at the time.

"Yes there fights must be great practice, but it will leave all the rest of us who get none looking sloppy." Sarin hopped down the rocks as well towards Arianne not noticing the new student before and bowed before her. "And I am Sarin Skysight pleasure to meet you it seems the student body is growing every day."

*Arianne finishes another daisy chain, this time a bracelet, and gives this one to Goldie as well.*

"Goldie, do you believe in fate?"

"Yes, I believe in fate. But I also believe you can't rely completely on fate." Goldie replied, getting up to put the daisy crown she had just finished on Glarin's head, "You make choises in life that effect your fate. Why do you ask?"

Charmiana walked slowly over to where Goldie and Arianne seemed rapped up in a descusion.

EWen watched Arianne make the crown intently, and then she made one herself.

"Thanks for teaching me!" She exclaimed, and walked over to Sarin and gave him the crown, and made herself another one. She put that one on herself and leaped up the rocks.

"Lovely, just lovely." She said to herself, and her true contentment was showing.

Goldie settles herself back on the ground, leaving Glarin to grumble about being made to wear flowers, and started on another chain. "Hey there, Charmiana!"

Pansies suit you Glaren.I think it must be the colour... Goldie could you show me how to make them.?/

"Of course I can teach you," Goldie replied, "But I'm afraid we havent any pansies. Only dasies."

What a loss. Charminaan relied. I am not very good at this it seems to me Goldie Charmiana said after making a few attepts. her latest onne worked it just did not look the way it should.

Goldie laughed. "You don't braid the flowers together, you stick them through eachother. Look!" Goldie demonstrated by adding a couple more dasies on to the chain she was working on.

"Oh my you are right, sheesxh and to think that i have been trying to make them this waay for years (really I have) Charmiana tried it this way and made a thouroughly acceptable crown, but she did not seem happy with this. Only Glaren new why the crown did not please her, for he had known of her status for a while, though he had not spoken of it. Charmiana did not like GLaren becuse she knew that he had this knowledge and so a power over her that she did not enjoy. Charminaa took apart the crown and made it into a necklace.

Goldie finished a chain and fastened it around her waist, then she stared on another crown.

Charmiana noticed Goldie making another crown and to hide her feelings she dived into the river leaving the necklace/crown by the tree. Charmianaa thought I left this place to get away from it all, must it haunt me everywhere.

Sarin smiled as he receieved the crown and promptly put it on his head. He watched Ewen go up the rocks. Not knowing quite what to do he hesitated but soon followed his strong desire to simply follow her. "You pick up on the flowers quickly."

"Thank you, I'm a very quick visual learner. Don't you love the view? I've yet to see the sun set from this rock. I think i'll do that tonight! It is my day off from schooling and all." She looked back up at the sky, and a few dark clouds starting to move towards the area.

"Rain!! How even more wonderful! But it won't be here for another few hours." She said.

Celebrien wandered out of the forest onto a high cliff, stripped off his shirt, and dove into the water below. It felt cool and refreshing after a long day in training. He climbed out of the water, and sat next to the group to let the warm sun dry him. Noticing the daisy chains, he asked "Those look interesting, how do you make them? Could you please show me?"

Goldie smiled and replied, "Just watch what I do and you'll pick it up rather quickly." Giggling she whispered to Arianne, "We could start a daisy making class!"

Legolaschick had gotten out of the water and was whaching the others when she too started to make crowns out of the flowers.

Sarin smiled and nodded making sure the crown didn't fall off. "Ay the view here is wonderful thats why I am always here its very calming. The sunset is a treat to be enjoyed as well I'm up here every night it almost makes the woods below appear to be on fire. I have never seen it in the rain before... perhaps it will be changed."

"That's so NOT what I was thinking!!!" She dives into the water, doing a huge canonball and grabbing Celebrien and Charmiana's hands as she goes under, dragging them down and dunking them with her. Then she lets go and they all swim to the top, the other two sputtering angrily.

"That was fun!!" She grins as she climbs out of the water.

Charmiana really did not mind being so close to the other elf but pretended at anger just the same... She decided to grab Wonks when she was getting out of the water and pulled her down to unfortunatly or ah fortunetly Charmiana lost her balance and fell on the elf Celebren ...of course she apologized loudly for the accident ....

Arianne laughed out loud again as she got dunked and then climbed out for good to stretch herself in the sun and dry off.

Just at that moment Ingolemo, the 65 year old man, came running up to the lake with the others. As he neared the water, to the utter dismay of the onwatchers, he tore off his shirt and dove into the water. To all who beheld this horrific sight it all seemed in slow motion. When Ingolemo came up sputtering he questioned as to why a dozen people around him were retching or running back to the dorms.

Lossenandunewen looked at Ingolemo and laughed. She took Sarin's arm, motioning towards the old man.

"What is that? He looks like a prune. Definately not an elf, i know that, but he doesn't even resemble a man!!" She laughed at the sight.

Arianne shouts loudly, "LOOK! 60 year old man boobs!" and then pretends it wasn't her.

Sarin looked in wonder at the wrinkly man and laughed. "It looks like his skeleton shrunk a few sizes while his skin stayed the same. I didn't know a person could be that baggy."

"I think unfortunately, I've lost my stomach for swimming in that water. Perhaps when I get that picture out of my head, I might get back in. He is baggy isn't he? It's like what i would look like should my dress be my skin." She motioned to her long, flowing dress, that wasn't for fitting, unless wet ofcourse.

[Maeglin]

Glarin watched as Ingolemo jumped into the water, with a confused and repulsed/disgusted look on his face he said to everyone else, "What in Middle-Earth is that man doing? Is he aware of how hideous he is? And how painful it is for us all to watch him without clothing on, that's disgusting. The teacher needs to be scolded this time, not the student."

Sarin looked over her and her outfit not for the first time. "Somehow that mental image is a bit more pleasent then the actual one in the lake. That one is simply ghastly"

"Well I would certainly hope I don't resemble an old man. I am an elf you know, pointy ears" She smiled. "Even though I am considerably older then him, but thankfully my body will not age as such. Wouldn't that be a sight! I baggy skinned elf. I don't even think that is possible. Well, I hope it isn't possible. But age does do that to mortal bodies. Take a good look Sarin, you'll be seeing that in fifty years." She joked. He gave her an evil, yet fun glare, and gave her a little shove towards the water. She resisted, her strength startling him.

"I'm sorry, that water is contaminated forever. Or atleast until memory loss kicks in."

Charmiana felt sorry for Sarin and Ewen. They seemed to enjoy each others company so and yet Sarin would die and frow old in less than ffty years...Charmiana looked at Celebren. at least he will not grow old she thought.

Sarin laughed. "If I do manage to live that long I can guarntee that I will never do something that will bring me into the water and look like that. The fact that the water is so disturbing now is depressing I was just learning to like swimming." He sighed and laid back against a rock sullenly more depressed with the thought of mortality than anything else.

Ingolemo climbed back out of the water and put his shirt back on.

"Youngins in these days!"he huffed. "Can't take a little skin! Hmph. Can't take an old man looking for a swim!" Ingolemo walked passed the laughing students and slapped Sarin lightly across the head. He walked away muttering to himself.

"Danged Elves making us Men look bad!"

I am weven hundred years older than he is I am seven hundred years older then him...oh he is just scary. Never Ever do that Sarin you promise. Charmiana watched Celebren to ah,,,,,whipe away the awful memory yes...

Celebrien laughed loudly at the old man's comments, then said "Well, 'tis good to be an elf, for I am 2500 years old, and still without an ounce of fat on my body. Poor humans, you will be fat soon enough! I am just kidding though, it is not always so great to be immortal, I have seen horrors that you will never wish to see, and I have remembered them throughout my long life..." with that he fell silent. He climbed out of the water, put his shirt on and sat on the bank, staring silently into space.

Charmiana got out of the water and lay down beside the elf. She thought of the beauty and power of the river. She wondered at the magnificance of this place for it was truly beautiful

"Well, at least at 65 he can take off his shirt." Goldie complained, "Some dumb thing called Society keeps mine on me." Goldie grumbles a bit.

[Maeglin]

"Well," said Glarin, "there is nothing stopping you from removing your shirt. By all means do, I don't think anyone would mind," Glarin grinned as he said this. "Well now I think it is safe for me to go into the water, for I don't have to worry about anyone else coming in to harass me and try to drag me under and drown me." He took off his shirt and waded out into the middle of the lake, "Ahhhh!!! It's disgusting!! Old mortal man germs!!! It's terrible! Get it off me get it off me!!" Glarin yelled and came running back to everyone else, where he collapsed in the grass.

Goldie laughed at the odd behavior of Glarin. "You just wanted an excuse to show off your muscles!" she accused playfully, "You wouldn't swim in the water!"

Lagolaschick started laughing also, "Ya know I think that she is right!"

Goldie sassily raised an eybrow, "Hey, its fine with me!"

"It's fine with her that I remove my clothing and show off my muscles as she put it. And it's fine with me as well, if people want to look, I say enjoy the view," Glarin grinned.

Goldie playfully punched Glarin's stomache, "He's strong, and just because he's surrounded by women who have trained to become strong and self-sufficient doesnt mean he isnt darn sexy." Thinking a moment, she glanced at Char and said, "I'll go for it if you will!"

Celebrien was still laughing at the sight of Ingolemo swimming. He sat up, for he was beginning to get warm in the afternoon sunshine. He snuck up behind Charmiana, picked her up around the waist and dove into the water. She came up gasping and sputtering, but smiled a devilish grin and dunked Celebrien under the water. Glaren strayed too close to the edge, and Celebrien and Charmiana pulled him in.

"lucky for Glaren we are not mean enough to drag him into the deep water...just mean enough to make sure he stays in the water for a while, do not look so sad Glaren its good for you. What a devil you are Celebren"

"This is interesting, no? I bunch of topless elves. But I don't think i'll join them in that parade." She turned to Sarin, who seemed deep in thought.

"what are you thinking about?" She asked. "You're not thinking about the topless elves are you?" She said and laughed. "I never once thought i'd be surrounded by such odd beings. But then again, i never thought i'd be surrounded by other beings at all."

"I was going to go in on my own Charmiana," Glarin said after being pulled in, "I was just waiting a while, I wanted to enjoy the view before I got in.":D

Make sure you make distinguishments between the aspects of your post:

Goldie stripped off her tunic and ran into the lake, deliberately splashing Charmiana as she entered the water. Grinning when she surfaced, she swiftly shoved another serving of water into Charmiana's face.

You say you would hate to see this go yet you continue to do what I am trying to get people to stop doing in these threads.

I also wonder how you can be lively in a party in the dorms during an extended night while at the same time you are swimming outside in an extended day.

These threads are supposed to go hand in hand: if you are in the dorms you are not outside. Likewise if you are outside you are not in the dorms. Also, if you are outside you are not restricted to the outdoors. There are other buildings aside from the dorms.

Add some meaning to your posts. This thread, though in character, is nearing ever closer to spam. The threads stay if all participants of them agree to use them as they should be. It is not a lot to ask for:

Post in one or the other. Not both at once. Make rp posts and respectable ones.

"Well," Charmiana turned to face Celebren " we had better go get ready for the party at the dorms tonight, oh and Glaren I am stealing your dress, do you mind?" Charmiana did not wait long enough for Glaren to reply before she said "thanks."

Charmiana crawled out of the river, put her shirt back on and started up towards the dorms... the others followed each imagining a different version of the party, how it would turn out Charmiana did not know but she imagined that it would be WILD.

IC: Glarin got out of the water and followed the rest to the dorms, "I hope I don't do anything stupid at this party tonight. And yes you may borrow my robe Charmiana, its not a dress! And if you call it a dress again then you won't use it!"

OOC Anamatar I sort of assumed that because of the nature of the outdoors... It was okay. I also took it as the dorms being more ""real life"" whereas the outside was a dreamlike world...well guess i was wrong sometimes I am too damn poetic.

"Shall we Sarin? I hope there won't be some sort of dress code" Lossenandunewen asked, and stood up. She took his arm and they walked back to the dorms for the party.

Sarin strolled off back to the dorms with her. "Yes I don't even own another set of clothing never needed it before. I suppose I should buy some at some point." They chatted easily, naturally, and freely all the way back to the dorms.

Celebrien jogged lightly across the fields onto the cliffs surrounding the lake. He began to go through some knifa routines and was soon very occupied.

Charmiana snuck up behind Celebrein and grabbed him. Together they rolled down the side of the cliff without jagged and pointy rocks and landed in the river.

"See Celebrien i always do something unexspected... actually that was not the reason I came out to see you. I wanted to thank you for the flowers and well for listening to me... It made me realize how stupid my fears are. They can't do any thing to me anymore I am no longer a child." Charmiana then kissed him softly on his cheek.

As Glarin walked around outside the dormitory building, trying to get walk off his hangover, he spotted something shiny in the grass, he picked it up, "It is in the shape of a leaf," he thought to himself, "I know who this belongs to........." he walked off with an evil grin on his face, he was going to have some fun with this.

Celebrien took Charmiana's hand, and they climbed up onto some of the rocks surrounding the lake. They sat and talked for awhile. The day was warm, and the sun was bright. It was a good day to be alive at Heren Istarion!

Ewen strolled out of the dorms looking forward to a nice day on the lake. She saw Glarin bent down, picking up a shiney leaf-shaped object, but she didn't give much thought to it. It was common for an elf to hold an object as such. She took a deep breath, and sighed.

"Well I can see Glarin survived. I wonder how the others are doing" She wondered, and she silently jogged towards the lake.

Sarin had come out to the lake before sunrise to watch it come into the sky as was his morning routine. His head hurt quite a bit, but he was able to get past it. He sat upon the rocks for a long while as the others straggled out. His heart began to leap however when he saw Ewen on the horizon catching the sight of her beautiful heair from far off. He sat and waited for the others to all make it to the lake.

Goldie ran out of the dorms, cartwhelling as she went, her dress making each cartwheel look like a huge,red circle. After about 20 cartwheels, Goldie got dizzy and fell into a heap.

Ewen jogged up to the lake and saw goldie in a heap on the grass.

"I see you've taken over for glarin!" She said, and they laughed.
"I was just doing cartwheels" Goldie explained.
"That sounds like fun!" Ewen replied, and tried to do one, but it looked horrible. She kept trying until she was able to do a perfect cartwheel, sparing her from the slight sprains she brought upon herself. She, finally tired looked up the rocks and saw Sarin looking at her, so she waved. She lept up the rocks and sat next to him, giving him a great hug.

"Hello Sarin, and how are we today?"

Goldie lauged as Ewen turned her cartwheels, then lay on her back and watched the clouds.

Sarin smiled and returned the hug. "Much better than I was thank you. Though I am a bit confused. Do you mean to tell me that after so living so long you never bothered to learn how to do a cartwheel until now?

"Well hunting doesn't normally call for gymnastics!" She smiled.

"Do you have to learn this, for being a monk? I can summersault really well, from high areas and such. It's my favorite battle entry, it makes me look that much stronger and more flexible." She explained. She looked up at the sky, like normal, and the brilliant blue reflected in her grey eyes.

"Such a beautiful morning. I think i'm going to swim." And with that, she summersaulted beautifully into the lake, doing a perfect dive.

Sarin nodded. "Aye we have to learn all sorts of acrobatics during our training." He watched as she jumped in then he took off his armor and tunic then took a few steps back from the edge of the cliff. He then ran up to the edge and jumped off performing a very complicated series of flips and twists on the way down. "Theres a reason I don't need a weapon in battle."

[ms Greenleaf]

Charmiana kissed Celebrein long and hard and then sighed. "I have got to get to class but I will see you later..."

"Alright then, I will probably be here all day unless something comes up. Have fun in class." He smiled, then waved goodbye as she wandered off towards the complex. After she left, he turned back to the lake, staring off into space. He laughed, then thought "I have never met anyone quite like her. I hope our stay here is long." He pulled a small stone from his pouch, and began whetting his knives on it.

Ewen splashed Sarin playfully. She smiled at him, her teeth dazzling white.

"How did you enjoy last night?" She asked. The sun reflecting off her hair that gently floated around her shoulders. Her eyes looking in his, grey and searching for his thoughts.

After class Charmiana went back outside. On her way out she saw Glaren... "I have to appologize I was scared and thought you had been sent out to catch me... " he looked confused. "If you do not understand just know that I have nothing left to argue with you with."

Later Charmiana came apon Celebrein... "I am back did you miss me ---you better have."

"and if i said I had not"
Celbrein joked

"I would beat the tar out of you ---just joking."

Glarin later found Charmiana with Celebrien, and asked if he could have a word with her, "I found something on the ground outside the dorms before, and it was right outside your window, and I couldn't help but notice the shape and style of it, something an elf-maiden would wear. Not only that, but I have seen it before, this is the mark of someone of royal blood in Mirkwood, I know, for my father was honored with one for helping them once. A leaf, a beautiful jeweled leaf, I believe this is yours." Glarin said smiling and held out the necklace. "Would you like it back? Don't worry, your secret is safe with me."

Sarin tackled Ewen after she splashed him submerging them both for a moment then coming back up. He returned her gaze with a smile. "It was the best night I've had in a long time did you enjoy it?"

[Legolaschick]

Legolaschick was swimimng in the lake. "Ah, I live this lake and waterfall! I do wonder if there is a hiden passage behind that waterfall." And so she swam to the waterfall, going under it, she found there was a small cave. I wonder if anyone saw me come in. And so she waited to see if anyone had seen her.

"Thank you Glaren. " Charmiana took the necklace and instead of clasping it around her neck she through it into the water and watched it wash away.

Glaren watched in horror and wondered what had gotten into the elf.

"Oh I loved it Sarin! Definately my most entertaining night. Usually I sit in a tree and watch the moon and stars. It's still beautiful, but after awhile it gets tedious. I love dancing though. When I would stop in at the pubs and halls I would dance all night." She said. "Thank you for dancing with me!" She exclaimed, and gave Sarin a big hug.

Sarin laughed. "I'm just glad I didn't screw it up. It was my first time dancing ever actually I never had much of a chance before. But it helped I had such a great partner."
