FINALLY (for) THE BIG FINALE, I have possible dialouge to go with this one ... Frodo and Sam by the crack of Doom, SAM: DESTROY it Mr. Frodo! FRODO: no ... I will not destroy it! THE RING IS MINE!!!
This sounds like a pretty stupid finale for the trailer. I mean this part of the movie should be kept a suprise to the audience, just like it was a nice little suprise in the books...
The other bits dont sound too bad, in particular the mouth of Sauron and the paths of the dead.

I agree with Mithlond that the Frodo&Sam conversation sounds pretty thick in the trailer. But we'll just have to see. Can't wait.:)

Oh yeah! It's going to be awsome! Some of those things "Ride of the Rohirrim" "Éowyn meeting Faramir" and some other things, wait, all of them seem soo awsome! Saving money for March. *Amen* if it's true of course, we'll just have to wait for the 100% garentee of it coming out in March:)

Yay!! It doesn't look like it will disappoint me!! (I don't think it really would have) but I have really high hopes for it. It doesn't look like I will be let down. This is great!!!!!!! I can't wait for March.

The Frodo/Sam conversation might woprk out okay in the trailer. Many people who haven't read the book, will not have considered the possibility that Frodo will not be able to destroy the Ring when he gets to Mount Doom. For those people, this conversation will be a real eye-opener. If they see this, they will really be curious to see how the Ring will be destroyed if Frodo can't do it. So the trailer might really draw more people to the cinema who want to see how this will end, which is after all the goal of a trailer. For those who have read the book all the other scenes in the trailer will be enough.
I just want to see a short clip of the huge army of Mordor like they did for Helm's Deep. It's so amazing.
Remember -- this is supposed to be the 'fan' trailer. This is the 'reward' for those who are real into the movie and have seen it multiple times -- most likely readers of the book. The Mt. Doom scene supossedly should not be a spoiler for these people. Nevertheless I agree that it's a bad idea to put this on there because non-readers will still see this trailer and the media will all see this and let the cat out of the bag for non-readers too.
Also, this trailer will never be on the internet. The TTT preview which was attached onto FOTR late in it's release only showed up on the internet in bootleg (non-legit) form, then later on the FOTR EE DVD as a hidden easter egg.

That frodo and sam dialogue would be good for the ending of the trailor. it will make people want to go see the movie. it will be perfect.

The trailers are just as inportant as the movie itself. If you di not set it up right, the movie will seem useless. PJ and co. did a great job on TT trailers. I hope he follows up on his expectations.
