Does anyone know if Tolkien developed Westron just as he did Sindarin, Quenya, Khuzdul and the Black speech? After all, English is just a translation of Westron, and it would be kinda logical if he had developed Westron as a real language. And what about Rohirric? Did he invent a whole language for Rohan, other than Old English which he uses as a translation for Rohirric?

I think that Westron was just the name givven for the Common Tounge. After all, Tolkein woulnd call it English...
Niniel's right. The Hobbits, for example, didn't speak English (nor was 'Frodo' Frodo's 'real' name). About Westron, or Rohirric and other tongues, as usual Ardalambion (on the web) will give you a good taste of just how developed some of Tolkien's inventions are. Note Helge's (Ardalambion author) initial comment in his essay titled:
The Structure Of Westron
'We know very little about Westron, for the simple reason that Tolkien has rendered it into English almost everywhere!' ~Helge Fauskanger

Finally someone ask about Rohirric:D Well, I know a few words in Rohirric. My custom title and location is Rohirric, my title means "horse-folk or horse-land" and my location means "Rohan" I get most of my info on Rohirric at this website, just go here I think http://www.uib.no/People/hnohf/mannish.htm if you're interested in Rohirric:)
very good stuff:)

Yeah, but what Tolkien uses as Rohirric is in fact Old English. And of course Old English is not the actual language that the Rohirrim use, just as English is not the language that the other people in ME speak; that is Westron. Tolkien used Old English to render Rohirric, because the actual language of Rohan was an old-fashioned form of Westron. So what I wanted to know was whether Tolkien had ever developed Westron and its older form Rohirric. It appears he didn't...

So we will never know the true chant of Éomer and the other Eorlingas at The Battle of the Pellennor Fields:
Then without taking counsel or waitng for the approach of the men of the City, he spurred headlong back to the front of the great host, and blew a horn, and cried aloud for the onset. Over the field rang his clear voice calling: 'Death! Ride, ride to ruin and the world's ending!'
And with that the host began to move. But the Rohirrim sang no more. Death they cried with one voice loud and terrible, and gathering speed like a great tide their battle swept about their fallen king and passed, roaring away southwards.
