The basics of Rping

Okay here are the basics to rping.

TERMS:

IC: In character example:
Anamatar lifted his blade and slew an Orc.

OOC: out of character example:
Hey guys, should I have Anamatar kill one or or two?

Halt: stop the rp until the person removes the halt.

Discussion thread: where all ooc posts should be made.



RPS ARE ALWAYS IN THE PAST TENSE.

I can ask a last question, right?
I want my character to be called Finduilas.Should it correspond to the one from the books or can I change some things?
Oh, and where should I post my rp profile-here or in the Guild of Elves?

They are different guilds....post it here.:) follow the instructions in the thread Heren Istarion: Joining to do the rp profile.

And I would not use how the books have her since the timeline the rps are in is well into the 4th age.:)
