What kind of artist are you?

Since Art can refer to things as broad as music, painting, drawing, acting... ect ect, i wanna know wich kind are you!

I mainly draw, although I sometimes paint, write poetry or try writing a song as well.

I am a whole lot of things. I dabbled in sketching, I sing, dance, write, act, etc. I only do writing in anything that anybody might recognize. Even then, it's pretty doubtful.

well- i'm best at drawing and painting, but i do a little bit of each, actually. i love acting, although i usually do horribly in auditions- thus i get no parts... (course, once i'm onstage, i'm FINE... :rolleyes: ) i love to sing, also- musical theater, you know.

and i also do some writing, though not so much anymore... :D

i also play the flute. forgot to mention that. one of my stronger points, actually. i'm not half bad, if i may say so myself! ;)

I draw, paint, write, and play violin. I can act, but I don't. I think that an artistic temperament will look for ways to express itself - that's why so many people have ticked the 'combination' box.

In 'other' we can put those people who, in Britain, are called a (*cough*) artist because they drink too much alcohol.

Hohum, i love to draw, but i have to be in the right state of mind. I find it really fustating when i have a picture in my mind, but can't get it right on paper. I'll have to get over it i suppose. Do you think artisticness gets passed through your genes? Both my parents families are quite artistic, i probably get it from them.

I hope I am not being forward seeing that I am not a Guild member, but I am an artist and wanted to "look about" and see what was being posted in a Guild of other artists. I paint, sew, create porcelain dolls and do a great deal of "stained glass" (Tiffany method); I have also created in clay using the handbuilt method (many years ago I made a "Gandalf" face which I still have from local clay!). Unfortunately, that usually means that I do not dust, vacuum, clean, cook etc. Oh well, we can't do everything!
