Due to recent demand, here are a list of the lands of Middle Earth, as they now stand, and other various data to know before you join the RPing world.

Lands:
Arnor- Nearly fifty years ago it was brought out of another staggering decay, and was revived to it’s former glory, by a prince of Dol-Amroth named Ciryaher Hyarmendacil III. If you wish to be of any part of Eraidor, or of the Island of Himling, it is of his Empire. You may PM Ciryaher for citizenship.

Gondor- It was ruled, up until 2 years ago, by a Beorning named Beorn (or Mike, depending on your memory span). At his death the kingdom was given to Valar (as king) and Elbereth(as queen). Valar is deceased, but Elbereth ruled up until recently. Gondor is currently a disputed territory under Mornclaurian Rule.

Mornclaur- Land of the dark lord. It stretches from the furthest shores of the East to Greenwood and Mordor in the west. It also encompasses all land south of that, and the Dwarven kingdoms to the north.

Erebor and the Iron Hills- Ruled independently by dwarves until a half- a decade ago, when it was conquored and made territory of Mornclaur. They, and the surrounding lands, are currently ruled by the Dark Lord.

Moria and the Misty Mountains- Ruled by Lord Telchar, second dark lord of middle earth, for as long as my memory spans.

Lothlorien- currently ruled by someone, don’t remember who. It is a very desolate place, for the most part, and most of those elves left for the west.

Greenwood (Mirkwood of old)- Though the places of and around Dol-Guldur are ruled by Mornclaur, the land above the East Bight was rulled by Pontifex up until a half-decade ago, and was then ruled by Myself. After that, the elves turned to their Recluse. No new elves leave Greenwood, and the only Greenwood elves you can be or can meet are those that have left that place.

Vales of the Anduin- A part of my former kingdom which contained Greenwood. The men of that place are currently ruled by a chap named YayGollum, who’s RP name is Tuor (or something starting with a T)

Enedwaith/Dunland- Renamed Arandor near to a Decade ago. It is currently my kingdom, still known as Arandor.

White Mountains- Ruled by Mormegil. Dwarves inhabit them, and are the only dwarves held as those of the west.

Rohan- Ruled always by lord Eomer II, until he departed and left the lands to Mithrandir II, who then left them to Ciryaher, who rules them for now.

In summery- there are no lands unclaimed in Middle Earth. If you want to be a king, you will have to wait until someone dies, or until you have an army to over-run another king. If you claim to owe allegiance to a specific land or to be a prince of a land, please PM that land’s leader.

*there are almost always positions as governors or Generals ope

Misc:
It is nearly the year 1000 of the fourth age.

It is not respectable to name yourself friend, son, or lover of a character of LOTR, due to it’s overwhelming popularity and it’s near-concrete-ness of story.

You cannot live in Fangorn, you cannot be an ent, you cannot be friends with ents. They cannot help you in battle. They, as are the Eagles, beyond the realms of acceptable RPing.

And finally, please note that there is not an infinite supply of Mithril in the world. Please refrain from extensive usage of it.

please note that this is by no means complete. I will post more things when I think of them. If you think you have found a loophole or if you have a question about any of this, feel free to PM me.

Also, these apply only to government official RPs. They do not apply to personal RPs, where you can do whatever you wish.

As Magnus the Dragon, I have been granted roaming rights by the Dark Lord through-out the Withered Heath, Erebor and the Iron Hills in general.
