Why didn’t the Hobbits fight in any of the battles in LOTR?
In the ROTK, the Hobbits of East Farthing had suddenly developed weapons and a whole new idea of fighting hobbits from the north of the Shire came into focus. If this was the case, why didn’t they fight in any of the battles in the rest of LOTR?
