Galadriel Good or Bad???

    shes horrible miscast galadriel was supposed to be pretty
    is was an actual plot point
    and restated many times
    what we got instead was a woman who could charitably be described as plain

    Resurrecting this, I completely agree that the portrayal of Galadriel is terrible in the theatrical releases and want to add that the same goes for the portrayal of Faramir! However, the extended editions do improve both, some.

    I am more unhappy with what PJ did to Farimir's character, because he took away his nobility.

    And also Denethor! Obviously Denethor isn't as likable all around as Faramir, but I thought it REALLY didn't make sense even just for continuity that the Steward of Gondor would act like a grumpy child

    PJ Boyens & Co totally missed the mark with Faramir and Denethor. I get the feeling he was trying to 'hurry' things along at this point and didn't really care how bad he butchered the characters. Galadriel he got partially right, but the whole 'horror' scene at the Mirror was way off. Just me 2¢.
