Are there any Quenya scholars out there that could answer me this? Does Laihendu mean green-eyes? i read that when green was an adjective it could be reduced to the prefix lai-, and that hendu is a natural pair of eyes. was i correct in my interpretation, and if not, can you please tell the proper way to say it? thanks for your time.

P.S. If there are any sindarin scholars out there too, a translation of green-eyes would be much appreciated. all the dictionaries i have found are most confusing.

    Celineneb in Sindarian;)

    Celin - Green
    Heneb - Eyed
Just drop that 'H' I would guess...
