    Hello all. Mae govannen!

I can currently read and speak Elvish with some coherency, although I know I can always learn more. I am teaching one of my friends Elvish, and have found that to help me the best, retention-wise.

I have found some very good resources for helping those who wish to begin to speak and read more Elvish. I will put the links here for these websites.

    https://www.elfdict.com/ - Elvish Dictionary

    https://folk.uib.no/hnohf/wordlists.htm - Word list

https://folk.uib.no/hnohf/ - Comprehensive Site on Tolkien's languages. ALL of them.

There you go! That should be enough to get you started, hopefully.

I can also supply a letter pronunciation guide, if that's something anyone is interested in. That list might take a little longer though.

    :)

Thank you indeed Arthfael! I'm a newbie at writing Sindarin and struggle a lot when I can find the time to dabble so your post is most welcome. Speaking Elvish is still a distant wish but if you do find the time to post the pronunciation guide I would be so thankful. It's so very kind of you to share your expertise.

And also welcome to the forum! I wish you many happy hours here among friends :)
