I've done what I could to try to translate the basic meaning of the lyrics to "All shall fade" from the Two Towers movie into Quenya, but I need someone to check my work and let me know if my translation is at least close enough. I wasn't trying for a direct translation, but something that would keep the same general meaning while staying close to the same meter as the song.

If you see a phrase that could be said better while still fitting the timing of the song, please let me know.

    Here is what I have:

    Home is behind
    Amar ea adel

    The world ahead
    Ilu opo

And there are many paths to tread
    Ar tassë rimba tië vantannar

    Through shadow
    Terë huinë

    To the edge of night
    Tenna rima lome

Until the stars are all alight
    Tenna eleni ea tinwë

    Mist and shadow
    Hísië ar huinë

    Cloud and shade
    Fanya ar lëo

    All shall fade
    Ilya sintauva

    All shall fade
    Ilya sintauva

Thank you, in advance, for your time.
