Hallo, excuse me, please, my bad English, i am from Czech republic. I have one question: Movies The Fellowship of the Ring (extended version, in time 01:59, at Dwarf Gate): When Gandalf say"What quite simple! If you are a friend, you speak the password..." and after? Can someone tell me what said he after this part? Thx

The word is "mellon" which is Sindarin for "friend"

I believe the phrasing is something like "Speak friend and enter", so Gandalf thinks that the words mean "if you are a friend, speak the password and enter" but really the door means "speak the word for 'friend' and enter".
