Ive never read anything about it, but im sure that the elves can now go and tear it down knowing that Sauron is gone, and is safe to do so. Good question though and welcome to the forum

The Lothlorien elves destroyed the place after the war ended.
It was said that Galadriel in particular "Threw down the walls of Dol Guldur (not exact quote).

What's Dol Guldur? And is it in Mirkwood?
"The last host of the Eorlingas has ridden forth. It will not return without battle."

Vist MeRPG for Tolkien rpgs. The best.

    LOTR Appendix B

After the fall of the Dark Tower and the passing of Sauron the Shadow was lifted from the hearts of all who opposed him, but fear and despair fell upon his servants and allies. Three times Lórien had been assailed from Dol Guldur, but besides the valour of the elven people of that land, the power that dwelt there was too great for any to overcome, unless Sauron had come there himself. Though grievous harm was done to the fair woods on the borders, the assaults were driven back; and when the Shadow passed, Celeborn came forth and led the host of Lórien over Anduin in many boats. They took Dol Guldur, and Galadriel threw down its walls and laid bare its pits, and the forest was cleansed.
It goes on to further say that there was also war in Mirkwood, but Thraduil and his people were victorious as well. Celebron and Thranduil met in Mirkwood and renamed it Eryn Lasgalen , The Wood of Greenleaves.

Thranduil took the northern region for his realm and Celebron took the southern region and renamed it East Lórien.
Fey he seemed, or the battle-fury of his fathers ran like new fire in his veins, and he was borne up on Snowmane like a god of old, even as Oromë the Great in the battle of the Valar when the world was young.

Dol Guldor is where Sauron made his fortress in southern Mirkwood after he was defeated the first time. It made a once fair Mirkwood an evil trechourous place, save the capitol of Thranduil.

Dol Guldor is a volcanic "plug" in Southern Mirkwood and it was here that Sauron began to put forth his power when he returned long years after his defeat by the Last Alliance. Although I think he stopped off in Mordor first to arrange for the reconstruction of Barad dur to commence.

Mirkwood is the large forest East of the Misty Mountains and the Anduin so called because Sauron's doings in Dol Guldor darkened the place and the creatures who dwelt there.
