OK. by a strange coincidence involving the word 'eyeball' (!) I found this band the other day, called Sleep Station. They have a free EP to download at www.voncosel.com. Read the story first then listen to the songs - it could have turned out like death metal but instead sounds a bit like Gomez! What can I say, my favourite is 'Sacred Heart' and I ordered all their albums. Should appeal to acoustic guitarists, romantics and mad scientists!

Have a good Christmas all.

This might not make much sense to everyone, but it's hilarious if you know what a Ned is (a really scummy person who can't talk, write or behave properly). You'll get the idea. Oh, and Glasgow's Scotland's biggest city and renowned for its Ned culture.

Sorry, but I'm on a bit of a role with websites these days! Here's one my boyfriend found:

www.rupissed.com

It's an online breathaliser - great for calculating if you're still over the driving limit the next morning!

I've just spent over an hour downloading 50 wallpapers for my computer (all 15+MB of it) from the site below. It's called Deviant Art and is absolutely fantastic and addictive! No longer shall your desktop be boring and monochrome! For you shall download from this site, and it shall be beautiful!!

www.deviantart.com

PS Some of the pics show semi-naked people (but no porn), just to warn you if you are of a nervous disposition :p . Of course, maybe you're looking for something like that ... ;)

50 wallpapers?????????????
Isn't that a tad extreme? That's like 5 years worth of wallpapers all at once!
There must be something strange in the water in Scottieland...

It's a shame that most of the decent wallpapers there don't work though.

Oh...I have a suggestion for all you tweens!

I just recently tried a new wine that is really great! In fact...I'm drinking it now as I type. (don't worry...it is only my first glass so I am completely sober ;) )

The wine is: Francis Coppola, Bianco

A combination of three types of fine California white wines. Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, and Savignon Blanc.

and if wines are not your forte...then I suggest you try a great Belgian beer...called: Duvel (I just recently got a taste of this beer and fell in love!)

PS....if you are from America and are under 21...please disregard, as I do not want to be responsible for promoting underage drinking ;)

Well I never had Australian beer before...but I have had Australian wine and I do agree that it is very good. Unfortunately though, I can never remember the name of foreign wines after I have drank it. Hmmm...perhaps I should write down the names next time....either that or drink less...hehe ;)

I recommend that you guys go and see Troy! It's fantastic! :D :D
I also recommend that you read The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan. A fantastic series that is in the same league as Tolkien's work. I've heard that it tapers off near the end of the series, but I'm up to Book 6 and it's still very good. Be prepared to forget any other books for a whilt though- it's a 12 book series (book 11 is released next Feb), WITH a prequel! And the books aren't short either- all at least 850 pages long.
