I'm wondering whether the Valar or even Eru would have intervene at some point to stop sauron if he had won against the free peoples. The last true intervention eru did was at the second age, when majority of the numreoians tried to take over Valar's home (we know how that ended) and some speculate that eru intervened with gollums fall at mount doom.

My question revolves around that tho, why wouldn't eru intervene if sauron was enslaving all his elves, men and dwarves and sub races?

I do believe the answer lies in Gandalf's mission. Gandalf couldn't openly challenge Sauron, but he could kindle the hearts of Men, Elves, Dwarves, and Hobbits against the Darkness. I do believe that Eru wanted his creations to fight for their future and land, not to abandon them, he never abandoned them. Sometimes, you have to let those you love, creation or child, face the fire themselves, so that they become stronger afterwards. I can't really speak for Eru though. I can think though he wanted to humble Sauron while he was at it while the denizens of Middle-earth fought against him. I mean, Sauron gets his behind handed to him by races he thought inferior to himself, gotta be humiliating. I don't know if this is an answer you wanted, it's just my opinion.

And it's only worth .2 :D:D:D

I think that that would be amazing if in the future the world will see a book with an alternative story, where Sauron won. For me it is really interesting to read about it
