I find it hard to believe that Sauron, being unable to take physical form, would have a beard, especially not one to rival Gandalf or Gimli's.
(Perhaps he had one in the Elder Days) :)
Does Theoden have a beard??

Why would Melkor keep his beard in a fridge??? That's pretty strange!
Wouldn't he want to proudly display it if it was really magnificent??
Or maybe he was ashamed of it and had to hide it :)

Harry Potter is gay not elrond!
WHAT ON EARTH IS WRONG WITH GINGERS!!!!!!!!!!
Why bother coming here if you don't know anything about the books?

I think Treebeard has the longest beard because the word beard is in his name

but if Theoden(the king of Rohan if you have no idea who I'm talking about.........Harry Potter:p )had a beard his would be the longest

Actually since Dwarvish Women are described as being indistinguishable from Dwarvish Men, I would be THEY have pretty nice beards...

Gimli's beard is typical of a dwarf. I personally think Gandalf has a good beard, long, volumous, and it makes him look cool (and powerful).

I have weighed up all the options, and I think Gandalf has the best beard. However, some of the dwarves in "The Hobbit" had fantastic beards which would give Gandalf a run for his money any day.
