Aragorn and Gandalf. They were the best two characters throughout the whole novel IMO.

FARAMIR, and perhaps the best character of all LOTR

    I vote for Eowyn.

If you think about it, that whole concept of the strong warrior woman, who wanted to fight side-by-side with the men, but who was relegated to "woman's work", was 'way ahead of its time. The passages where she describes her feelings were extremely thought-provoking. The equality for women movement didn't really blossom until the 70's.

Faramir has to be the best "new addition" to the book-as well as Eowyn, but we also get Gollum and we have a superb development in several characters-Aragorn, a re-vitalised Gandalf, Gimli and of course Merry and Pippin. We also are introduced to Theoden, Eomer and Treebeard-as well as a new race in the Ents.

My favorite character (from the books) Two Towers is Aragorn. He was the man, the leader.

My fav. (movie) character was *thinks a sec*...Saruman. Christopher Lee was awesome!

Aragorn, because this is when he really becomes "the King" He assumes responsibility, makes the hard decisions, etc, Gandalf comes back, but he was never mortal. His actions are determined by his reliance on Aragorn's strength as a man, as well as a King.

Well, Eowyn didn't have much of a part in TTT, so I will say Faramir. I always thought he was a very admirable character.

I would say Eomer and Eowyn, the only sibling team in the whole book -apart form Faramir and Boromir, but we never see them together

    Definatly........Gollum!

Gollum is the best character in the Two Towers!
I mean, the guy has got a split personality, he eats raw fish, and he is so important. He is the reason the One Ring was destroyed in the Return of the King! Little greedy Frodo would have walked into Sauron's arms if it wasn't for Gollum ripping Frodo's finger off!
    Aragorn is my second favorite!!!
    Gollum is da bomb!!!!!!!!!!

    Always,
